Knowledgeable about all the latest skincare, she takes the time to thoroughly check and evaluate your skin and explain what she sees and how to best treat it, including holistic methods if that's an interest for you. A few years ago, it was clear I had bad interactions with different ingredients in products, but we didn't know which they what. Theresa uses a special system of skin testing that comes from Canada and will give you not only what you're reacting to, but gives you lists of current products on the market that contain it. When I moved back to DC, my excellent dermatologist there had never heard of this testing program and wanted to purchase it herself. I'm now living in New England and as family is local here, I figured why not come back to Theresa versus try my luck with another? Her front desk staff is super warm and friendly and fit me in quickly. Her new office is super cute and there's even a fresh juice bar inside. Her esthetician does consults for different services, including makeup using the highest quality products. They've got an event coming up on 12/15 that will show off some of the great services and products they offer. I highly recommend people check it out.

I have now had (3) waxing sessions there for (2) differences services with (2) different…read moreestheticians. I had a good experience each time. Chelsea did a great job waxing my eyebrows. The shaping was better than other places I have tried and she actually measured my brows/face to keep the ratios right. Wax was a little too hot on one strip during bikini wax but irritation was gone after a day. FYI be prepared to take your shoes off. I didn't know my first time when I went so I wore flip flops. I just don't like my bare feet on the wood floors so now I remember to wear socks.
