"2 slices w/Bacon" ...my regular order

Born and raised in Newark, I've been a fan of Nico's pizza for decades, followed them from there former location to here. It's their recipe for the sauce [pizza] and they're one of a few places that has bacon on the regular toppings menu. I can tell the difference between their slices and other places [by size alone...], the owners are great guys, always offering great service, prices and the food is memorable. Anytime I come back to Jersey for a visit, getting a slice is always on the menu...

Haven't tried everything but for pizza you can't go wrong with this place. Huge foldable crispy thin crust, budget friendly. Been here a few times and food was consistent. Maybe if I'm brave enough to try other things I will come back to review again! Only thing it's in da hood so know how to watch ur back and don't go there too late bc "the freaks come out at nite" (Whodini) for y'all younguns lol

I got a penne vodka pizza, Caesar salad, appetizer sampler, and wings. Everything was very tasty and the portions were generous. The penne vodka pizza had a ton of pasta on it. The sauce was great and nicely balanced out the crispy crust. The appetizer sampler was perfect for sharing and included mozzarella sticks, fried zucchini, chicken fingers and fries. Something for everyone. The wings had a nice spicy kick to them and came with a large cup of blue cheese. The salad also came with bread. Overall, I would recommend this place. The prices were reasonable and the food was ready on time. Can't ask for much more!

July 17 was in a mood for a cold sub so I googled a few places to try to find an Italian pizzeria…read moreor a sandwich shop. Came to Napolis and ordered just that an Italian sub ham cheese, salami, lettuce, tomato no onions oregano mayonnaise on both sides of bread and oil and vinegar when he says it's ready. I take the sandwich and I pay for my meal then I realized that the bread is toasted and the sandwich is hot, which makes it not a cold sub. When I said something he said he had to toast the bread if I didn't want to toast it, I should've told him I'm like wait. I shouldn't have to say it. I don't want to toast it because it takes away from it being a cold sub. He said no we have to toast the bread I was like, but that's not a cold sub. It doesn't make sense anyway I left. I went to the car and realized that the salami was cut super thick. They use tomato wedges and roaming lettuce instead of shredded lettuce. I'm not an expert but in my wrong and assuming that that is not a cold sub? I asked for a refund he said he couldn't give me a refund that I would have to order something else left it in the hands of my bank. If you're gonna use an Italian name to advertise your pizzeria, let's at least follow the Italian way cause what you sold. It was definitely not a cold.

(I believe Nino's II existed for a quick moment up there in North Arlington but my memory ain't what it used to be.) After driving past (the original) Nino's on the way home from work for the last few months I realized I was overdue for a visit. First thing: from the outside it looks a bit weathered but inside? It's vibrant and lively and eased my initial concerns. (As soon as I walked in at the very first table was a little kid and his abuela. He made it a point to interact with me coming and leaving and that kid made my day... he's getting 5-stars for being awesome!) As for the pizza... it's a respectable "large" - they ain't skimping, which is a nice change of pace. (Hats off to the pizzaiolo because it wasn't a true/normal/expected circle but something closer to a Reuleaux triangle mixed with a squircle.) Geometry aside... the pie tasted good. Nothing flashy or fancy - just a legit (thin) pie. The (steak) fries were a bit bland and boring, I can't lie. And their cavatelli and broccoli was... decent. It would've benefited from a bit more 'pop' (salt, olive oil, garlic, you name it.) I haven't been here in eons and I hope they'll be around for another 40-something-years. Worth mentioning: it's one of the very few pizzerias to have a liquor license. (I'd definitely come back again for the not-so-perfectly-round pizza but would pass on the fries and pasta...)

The pepperoni and Sicilian slices were particularly impressive, and I would even say this is the best Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty pizza experience. However, the restaurant appears to be quite deserted, and it would definitely benefit from more patrons to ensure it receives the attention it deserves.

Backed by celebrity investors like LeBron James and Maria Shriver, the concept is an assembly-line approach to customizable artisanal-style pies. Think Chipotle, but make it pizza. Personal sized, thin crust pizza (6 slices) is built right in front of you in an open kitchen, then fired in an oven for 3 minutes. You can finish things off with drizzles of various sauces or a handful of arugula if you fancy extra embellishment. Choose a signature pie or build your own - I love that you can have any toppings for one flat price. For the allergen or diet conscious: gluten-free, cauli, and keto crusts are all available alongside the original and high-rise doughs. We also tried the protein-zza, a California-style chicken & veggie pizza made with cauliflower crust. I was fully prepared to be smug about detecting the alternative crust, but couldn't tell the difference at all. It was generously loaded with toppings, and the roasted garlic really made the taste pop. Fresh, vibrant flavors all around. We went on a Sunday so it wasn't too crowded and service was swift, and the pizzas came out beautifully. For a quick-serve franchise, this place delivered high-performance pies that defied my expectations.
