I am always skeptical by dentist that tell you that you need work done or want to do unnecessary work on your teeth. They are NOT like that. They are honest and really care about you as an individual not just a number. I drive from Plano to see Rachel (hygienist). Do yourself a favor and bring your teeth to her. It's like taking your teeth to the spa. I had a break so likely the trauma caused would have resulted in a root canal but I don't feel like they were conservative in their approach with me and my tooth was filed down to nearly nothing. Another dentist mentioned this could have caused the delayed healing and extended need for time to reduce inflammation. I have days even still that the tooth does not feel right. It's been about a year. That isn't a good feeling with having spent thousands on ONE tooth. This was my first crown and I have good teeth and hope to never have to be back in anyone's office for another but I have thankfully found a good dentist that I don't have to question.

I've overheard dental hygienist conversations guiding patients on things like hydration and electrolytes, preventing teeth discoloration, and even thoughtful education destigmatizing cold sores with younger patients. It feels like a healthcare environment, not just a transactional appointment. And most importantly -- the work itself is exceptional. I spoke with someone at the front desk who took all of our information and said she found appointment times that would work for all of us. After putting me on hold for about 15 minutes due to "system issues," she asked me to repeat all of the information again--which I did. Then, about 25 minutes into the call, she suddenly laughed and said, "I'm so sorry, I'm actually just an intern--I can't schedule appointments." She transferred me to her "boss." A few minutes later, another person got on the line and started the same process, running into the same issues. Then, about 7-10 minutes into that call, she also said (laughing), "Sorry, I'm actually just an intern too--I can't schedule appointments. Can we call you back tomorrow or the next day?" I'm not exaggerating--this actually happened. I called back today to follow up (the only reason I was trying to use this office is because they offer pediatric dentistry, whitening, and ortho all in one place). The phone rang endlessly multiple times. When I finally got through, I was routed to an AI assistant. I hung up and called again, reached someone who couldn't hear me, and then got hung up on. Calling back again led me right back to the AI system. At this point, I have zero confidence in this office's ability to handle something as simple as scheduling--let alone actual dental care.
