Don't go here, I wish I would have read the rating before going. Got a $16 wash, left with scratches on my hood and trunk from the dirty rags they use to wipe off your car. Called the manager, he was extremely rude to me acting like I was making up that the staff were the reason I have damage to my car and told me I "was gonna get anything out of him" and to call the owner in the morning. I called back, to let him know that he was really rude on the phone and he cut me off to repeat what he told me previously and then HUNG UP! I made an insurance claim and thankfully the staff of the repair shop I went to buffed out the scratches for FREE, so I cancelled the claim. read more

This is what you get when you purchase a $13 car wash and give a tip to the workers. They usually do a pretty nice job but today there was a lot of dirt on the back bumper. When I went back and showed the booth attendant, he was very rude and dismissive. He then proceeded to tell me I couldn't run my car back through (which I didn't even ask for)! I don't know if they changed ownership and I've never had a problem before but I probably won't return! read more

I was passing through on vacation and needed a quick car wash. These guys were amazing! The service was fast and the two attendants actually scrubbed my front and side windows before sending me through the automatic wash. My car came out looking amazing and we were back on the road in 10 minutes. So worth it and I'll make a point to stop by again on my next journey through Redding. read more

My sequoia came out beautiful. They are friendly too. A piece of moulding must have been caught on the way thru. I didn't notice it was missing till I got home. I had a horrible experience today at this car wash. I had a problem with my tires slipping off the rail. The older man from the booth started yelling at me, "Don't come back here until you know how to use neutral!!!" I did have it in neutral and I didn't put on my breaks. One of the workers said I should just drive it through. But, the point is, a customer should never be treated this way. I was very civil with him. A customer should never be yelled at or be treated in a disrespectful manner. read more

Kwik-N-Kleen does a better job and is less expensive than its main competitor, Prem$er Oil Change. Kwik-N-Kleen does a prewash for you with their pressure washer (they get all the bugs off your windshield and grille) and hand soaps your car. Then, you go through the wash. They towel dry after, so you don't get water spots. The only drawback is you have to wait a bit. But, hey, I can wait for quality! Great job K-N-K! Keep up the solid work! read more

Super friendly and great service. We came through town and the truck was disgusting. We went to a carwash closer to the highway and waited 10 minutes without moving. So we backed out and tried this place. MUCH FASTER and the prices were much lower. Very pleased and highly recommend. read more

Right next to Dutch Bros in downtown Redding. The location is convenient for a west side wash and the ticket packs are a nice price if you don't mind an extremely prickly reception from the man in the booth and a mediocre wash from old technology. Beware the man in the booth who is prone to yelling and shaming and who must get very poor employee evaluations in the areas of listening and communication. I won't bore you with the details, but apparently if you don't know what "rain-ex" (the competitor to the product they use at this car wash) is then you're an idiot deserving of ridicule. I came here because of the Google reviews, and had forgotten about Yelp. I'm sorry I missed these because they could have saved me alot of time and aggravation. They hand washed it a bit before the tunnel. But as alot of other reviewers are saying, my truck was still pretty dirty after it was put through the tunnel. I parked it and got the older guy in the booth (I assume the manager?). He put it back through and talked to the guys. They wash the driver side very well by hand this time. Ok it's through again and I park it. Still dirty spots on the flat surface of the side of my truck. I have never been to a carwash that does this poor of a job. When I talked to the guy in the booth again he got indignant, defensive, and said "this isn't a detail shop". I've got news for you, this isn't a carwash either. Do yourself a favor and take your car elsewhere. This place is a waste is money and time. read more

They broke my window from top to bottom, then told me it was my fault, then the manager claimed he would get back to me about filing with insurance. Almost a year later have yet to hear back from him. Fixed it myself have never went back, and I make sure to let everyone know how well I was treated! Go to Quality Plus Car Wash & Detail on Hilltop (right up miracle mile from this car wash) or their other location on Churn Creek, Clean Car car wash, which they almost have 5 Star review for the same prices and they do tire shine also! read more

I went there to get car I had just purchased washed and cleaned inside. While they were washing it one of the workers hits the front end of the car with their wash buckets as they are carrying it to the other side. I get out of the wash and there is still dirt and grime on the car. I spoke with the manager and he did apologize and said they would take care of it and run it through again. When the guy working on my car came to get me they had not rewashed the car or had they vacuumed the trunk. I was told if you want the trunk vacuumed you have to tell them and open it. Ok no biggy but they should have a sign up or tell you this as you go through. After rewashing the car and vacuuming the trunk out he pulls my car up and gives me the receipt. I said thanks and as he walks across the lot he is laughing and making comments because he is pissed at me. I used this place alot for my higher end cars in the past. I have been hearing bad about them around town lately but I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I won't go back. There used to be a guy that worked there that took pride in the job. Now I can get my car just as clean going through a gas station car wash for 1/3 the price. There was still spots and dirt on my windows. read more

Never have a fully clean car. The employees aren't friendly. They scratched my mirror while pushing it in, and they were being far too rough with my brand new car. When I spoke with an older gentleman who worked there he was extremely dismissive, and condescending, like it was an inconvenience I was telling him about my experience. I had debated posting this, but I feel like now and days people are willing to take the time to read these, and I don't want you to waste your money as I have. This is a small town, small business is where I like to do my business, to be treated so poorly is unfortunate. I'll never go back. read more

This is my second visit & unlike the first,where I was delighted, I am disappointed. When my car was really dirty on the first visit two people used soapy mitts and we're very thorough before going through the wash. It came out spotless. I finally decided to stop by and try out this car wash after driving by it a number of times since moving to the west side of Redding. Driving up I was greeted by an older guy who was very nice and explained the various different wash options. I chose silver ($10) and then continued on into the car wash. There were two employees, one at the entrance and exit. The first employee lightly washed my truck before entering the wash with a hand towel/sponge of some sort. The last employee dried my truck with a couple of squeegees. Over all the customer service was nice. After returning home I decided to look over my truck to see how the wash did. Unfortunately the wash wasn't as good as their customer service. Upon inspection I found bugs still on my front windshield and front bumpers and grill area. Looking around the sides of my vehicle I found dirt and mud on my body flung up from the tires that was present before the wash. My rims were also still fairly dirty. All of this lead to me having to re wash portions of my vehicle. Now I understand that you can't expect perfection with a machine car wash but I do expect a lot better. Prior to trying this wash I had been using Tay-Van Car Wash on Hilltop. Tay-Van has been open for what seems to be 20 or more years and using equipment much older yet my vehicle receives a much better wash. I believe this also has to do with the employees paying attention and doing a better pre wash. All in all I would not recommend anyone get their car washed here unless you plan on re washing when your done. I gave one star for customer service. I reserved the next 4 stars for the actual wash. Because I had to re wash areas of my vehicle when I got home I can only give it one additional star. read more

I have always had a very pleasant, courteous, professional and friendly experience. I tip every time, tell them my preferences, and it goes the extra mile. The 5 stars are for the owner. I ran over a pot of white paint left in the road after striping. I was told by the employee who was doing the pre-wash that I would never get the paint off that had coated my wheel and sprayed the side of my car. To prove how trying was so not worth his time, he got the owner to tell me that my car was ruined. The owner said let's at least try the power washer. He removed all the paint from the side of the car and most of the paint from the wheel. (I got the rest of with bug and tar spray). So... thank you. read more

I was a repeat customer at this car wash because I thought they did a good job but I will never EVER go back after my experience today. The blonde girl who dried my car was absolutely rude. I didn't have any bills to tip her so she very loudly, in front of her co-worker sang in a very sarcastic voice "THANKS FOR NOTHINGGGG." I was appalled and mortified she was saying this in ear shot of a paying customer. I told the man at the front booth who seemed shocked but didn't make any mention of talking to her about it. The man at the booth is always friendly and car gets mostly clean but I've seen staff be very rough with my mirrors on two separate occasions. My mirror was broken in the second, and while the owner paid for it to be repaired, when it happened the employee acted like it wasn't a big deal at all. He didn't even apologize. While I understand mirrors can be damaged when folding in, I would expect the staff to show that they felt bad or at least offered an apology. I haven't been back since. read more

Wow, what an experience! If you want to be berated by a guy with a chip on his shoulder and too much ego, along with a poor (at best) carwash, this is the place! The guy in the booth when I pulled up clearly didn't want to be bothered by helping me. So after he snapped at me, I still went ahead and opted for the $15 premium "wash" because it included towel dry. At the carwash tunnel two young guys sprayed the car down and sort of washed it. After completing the wash, the air dryer blew the water around a little, and that was it. No problem, I got the premium wash with towel dry. Nobody showed up to towel dry it though. As I began drying, I realized that the wash was about as thorough as the drying. I went to Mr. Friendly again at the booth and was advised that this isn't a detail shop. As for the towel dry I paid for? "Well the kids should have been out there." Nothing more. Didn't want to look at the car to see if it should have been cleaned better and didn't bother to get "the kids" off their hind sides to dry the car. So, if you want a superior carwash, park your car outside in a heavy rainstorm and save the money. If you want to be treated like trash, come see Nielson Kwik-n-Kleen. read more

It had been about 20 years since we'd been here because the car wash was always terrible quality. Anyway we watched the young lady sort of touch the truck with a cloth, spray a little something on the front of the vehicle, then send us through the auto-wash. At the end I asked if they were going to clean the running boards and wheels. She remarked, "you mean scrub", and shook her head no, walked away..... When we first parked after the non-car wash my husband looked at the truck and stated he could write in the dirt left on the truck.............. I'm having a conversation with my wife and after 20 minutes and I think you can still call it a conversation, about why she wants to get a rental car washed. She convinced me that I was missing the point, when the only thing I could obsess about is the fact that it was a rental car and not focus on the bigger picture which was .....as long as we were driving it it should represent us properly. We are currently in line to get the car washed. The place we found was Kwik-N-Kleen. And from the time we spoke to the gentlemen who took our money until the time we said good bye to the young ladies who dried our car off, it was an awesome experience. After 10 days in the road, The car was filthy and full of bugs. The first two gentlemen power washed the total car and then hand sudsed it. I came in from the back side (near Taco Bell) and had a really hard time figuring out how it worked (where I had to go). The guy at the window was friendly, but then the guys that actually washed the car were rude. I have never been there, or even a carwash like that one... So I had no idea how it works with driving up on the track. The guy was immediately impatient and annoyed that I didn't know how to go on there at first. He was talking to me like I was stupid. They have always done a good job and the pre wash employees and after wash employees have always been professional no matter how busy they are. They are on a time limit do to the speed of the automation, so they don't have a great amount of time to debug the front end after your 500 mile trip up the 5 or take care of all the mud you were flinging on your last 4 by 4 adventure. read more
