She already helped my wife with shoes that slipped in the recent past, so I decided to go back to the Shoe Mill when I had the same issue with a new pair of shoes, and guess who was there again. So, what makes Michelle great at her job and stand out above the rest, she is a creative problem solver. She didn't just point me in the direction of the insoles, which there is a small wall full. The insoles were not cushiony, I really thought it was going to be a bust before Michelle came to save the day. I didn't need hard supportive insoles, I needed as she put it, to take up space. This also added cushion, which is what I wanted. I should add she remembered both my wife and I, and my wife's very unique shoes.... That's impressive. My shoes felt great and no longer slipped in the back. I will come back for any issues with fit, only because of Michelle. He swiftly assessed what style made my foot most comfortable and was able to guide me towards the perfect shoe for how much walking I wanted to do. (He was also really honest and upfront about which shoes I tried on that would not hold up to the walking I have planned.) The prices seem competitive and he was very patient and kind as I tried on many pairs. All and all a really positive shoe buying experience. Would definitely come back again.

Instead, the employee gave me an attitude throughout the transaction. After scanning the box, she proceeded to thoroughly inspect the shoes and commented that they "could be the wrong shoes." I understand stores have return policies and need to verify merchandise, but there's a respectful way to do that without making a customer feel like they're being accused of trying to scam the store. I've returned items to other retailers, including Nordstrom, where employees perform any necessary checks professionally and courteously. This experience felt unnecessarily confrontational and left a bad impression. Customer service matters just as much as return policies.

I had been struggling for about a week to piece together a workable suit for an interview. I just couldn't find a jacket that worked, and I wasn't pleased with my tie choice. My pants also were an off color I wasn't happy about. So, last minute I dropped in here and wish I had made it my first stop days ago. I entered the front and was warmly greeted (Dawn). She asked about why I was there and the reason for the clothing. From there I was handed off to Melinda who worked her magic on me. Ultimately I found what I was looking for and felt good about everything. Didn't cost me a million dollars (less than $500) and I went on to do my interview today. I feel good about how it went.
