Welp, it seems $58 just went down the drain. Placed an order through the Tualatin JBO baseball site on April 19th that ordered the spirit wear through Oregon City Sporting Goods. Received an invoice and an email from Oregon City Sporting Goods confirming my order. May 6th, I send an email to kurtb@ocsports.us as listed on the email in case I had any questions. I requested an update. No reply. May 9th, I call the business asking for an update on my order, and whoever it was I talked to didn't ask for an order number or anything. They just said that they just got a bunch of the orders in, and I would be receiving an email update within a couple days. Nothing. Today, May 27th, I once again called asking for an update. Told whoever I spoke to that the order was placed through Tualatin JBO. They told me all those orders were already delivered. Told them I placed this order on April 19th, and I could give them the order number if it would help. Their exact reply was, "Well the order number isn't gonna do me any good." They got a little flustered, then asked for my name and number and would get back to me later in the day. I called about 3pm. It's almost 930pm and no call back. Update 5/28 - Received word from someone from Tualatin JBO. The orders were received a week ago and will be distributed amongst the teams/families. Still would have appreciated SOME type of communication from OCSG. read more

I needed a special undershirt for my son's football uniform and they had it. I like being able to support a small, local business. Also, OC Sporting Goods doesn't support "woke" causes- unlike the next closest big box sports store. read more

I want to support local business but this establishment has poor customer service. Got some equipment which was supposed to be shipped but when I called a couple of weeks later to follow up about it, no one called me back. I left messages, employees stated that someone would call me back and they never did. After over a month of trying, I got frustrated that I spent all this money and not get the equipment nor any follow up. Don't recommend! read more

This is what a sports shop should be in an age where you get blank stares big box sporting goods store employees when you ask questions on gear. Ray Hutchinson knowledge and connections are second to none in the area - especially with baseball and softball. If you have a club team, give these guys a try for all your gear and uniform needs. They have sourced gloves, bats, bags, balls, scorebooks, buckets and full custom uniforms for our club team for years. Also handles tons of custom printing for us on all gear and clothing. Can't recommend them enough and feel great about supporting a local business that cares about their community teams. read more

I don't know who is happier with the new and improved OC Sports in downtown Oregon City, the employees or the customers? The business moved from the Oregon City Shopping Center to Main Street a few months ago. It went from the size of a cramped closet to a spacious new store. The focus, obviously, is on Oregon City sports and apparel, but they also have some items for the neighboring communities. While they cover many sports, the biggest section is dedicated to baseball. One thing that sets this store apart is that they also carry some basic scouting gear (including shirts), which is much more convenient than heading to the main scout store in downtown Portland. I've been an OC Sporting Goods customer on and off for many years and after my son grabbed my Rawlings ProPreferred this year (he plays HS ball now), I needed to replace it. Saw the store moved to downtown Ore.City, great space, huge collection of top-shelf gloves even mid-season -- and I saw the heralded "Glove of the Month" collection which include special editions and chose one at a reasonable price -- and it's amazing. The information I received, the service and experience of the sales guys were all the reasons I love the store and why we must support the store in the future -- so we can compare products real-time, talk to real experts about equipment (and sports!) and even meet others there and talk to them. Fantastic selection of baseball gloves and bats, particularly wood bats. Probably the best baseball/softball specialty store in the Portland metropolitan area. A little bit of soccer, football, volleyball, and maybe a few other sports. Not a "full-service" store like Dick's or Sports Authority (i.e., no golf, tennis, swimming), but they are focusing on a niche. Friendly service too. read more

Went to this store to spend $. Seriously disappointed in service and organization of the store. I will not recommend it to anyone, nor will I return. I would give them a zero if I could. Typically I am in favor of supporting local stores. . .however the customer service in this place is the worst. We dropped off sweatshirts to be lettered and were told they would be ready in a week to 10 days. After 7 days with no call, my son called and was told they were not ready, but would be ready by Monday or Tuesday. We again called on Tuesday and were told they were not ready but would be ready later in the week. On Friday morning we called and were told later in the day on Friday they would be ready. On Saturday at 9a I called and the person (owner? same voice as the answering machine) said he did not know when they would be ready that they were busy and that they would call us when they were ready. When I started to tell him how we've been dragged along. . .he rudely hung up on me. I will NEVER shop here again. And I will relay this message to our baseball team and recommend that they take the club's business elsewhere. I don't see how a business like this continues to stay in business with this type of customer service. read more

I am in awe right now. I explored every portal possible to produce a very specific style of hat with our school's logo embroidered on the front. The catch was that I had a VERY quick turnaround, as in 3 days to get ready for a football jamboree! OC Sports pulled it off for me and I couldn't be happier about the service. Great new location, very helpful, knowledgeable people. This is the place you want to go to get your child outfitted for what ever sport they are going to participate in, not some big box store where they throw a warm body into the department. They were very organized and helpful when we went there to get our son's scout uniform. We just told them we were there for that and the gentleman who helped us knew what we needed and got it all out in a matter of seconds. We were in the store less than 10 minutes. I love going to OC sports. One of my favorite sports stores. I've gotten jackets customized there with my name and number on the back. I've gotten items there for softball. This year my dad let me get a new bat and OC sports was the only place i could go in store to find the one I wanted. However it was 30$ more than it would be online. So we decided not to buy it. But I do enjoy going in and browsing for a bit. Great store! read more
