Really laid back and easy going neighborhood bar. In an area with houses and some companies. Nice dive bar in a local neighborhood. Not a huge selection of alcohol just the basics. However, food wise this place rocks. Their specialty is this sausage sandwich. It was super good. I did not order but I got a bite. Very good. I got the Reuben sandwich with fries. Could only eat half of it. I get the other half tomorrow for lunch. We also got the onion rings. They were also pretty good. Server was nice. Helped us decide what to eat. And was very attentive. This place seems to have a decent take out biz. There were at least 5 people who took pizza to go. Might try that next time. Also lots of people at the bar and around on tables. Good local place. They had soccer and the Guardian's on. Prices on the good side. Not going to break the bank. Lots of parking available. And staff is top notch. Overall can't complain. It's a small bar in a neighborhood. Overall it was god experience. Could have been better with a little more personality. The bartender was ok just had that Warren Ohio personality. Nice little hole in the wall spot nestled in an older neighborhood for some pretty good food and cold beer. This was my second visit here and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and kept the beers coming. I decided on the build your own burger option where I added bacon, mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Burger came out juicy and the bacon nice and crispy. Paired with fresh cut fries, this definitely made for a great burger that paired nice with the ice cold Coors Lights I was washing it all down with. I slipped up and never took any pics so I guess I have to go back for Yelp* purposes for another visit. I'm not sad about this. read more

Went back a second time. The owner came over and talked to us. He told us that he makes the corned beef himself. At hearing that, I HAD to try the Reuben. It came on grilled marbled rye bread, choice of sauerkraut or coleslaw on top (I chose kraut), and 1000 Island dressing. It was OUTSTANDING. Found this place through Door Dash and we love it! Best BBQ I have had in ages and the Mac and Cheese paired with it is perfect! We have door dashed this several times and each time it has been excellent. To me that says a lot! If your food is still excellent via delivery you're doing something right! Niki'z is our local go-to food and pub. Nick and his staff go above and beyond to provide the best service ever. Not your typical bar food, as most of the menu is from scratch. Check the Facebook pages, he has ribs, brisket and other special that change weekly. Nikiz also caters, with advance notice. My classmate and I went for lunch on our lunch break we got an appetizer, wings and sides all of which were amazing. The bartender/waitress was amazing she was very understanding about us only having an hour for the break so she offered to have us call ahead next time so we would not have to rush time and she could have the food ready for us on the table. Two women of color walk into a pub on a sweltering Wednesday afternoon hoping to have some food and a cold beer. This was not my first visit to this bar, I had lunch with some of my clients in the past and was impressed with the food. Yesterday 7/19/23, the food and service were still stellar, however the place was packed with a predominantly older white male crowd. A hush fell over the place as we entered, it was surreal they looked at us as if we had three heads each! I've lived and worked in this area all my life and haven't experienced this since a visit to Mississippi when I was eight. We felt unwelcome and therefore placed our order to go. I like that place, but I've learned my lesson. Perhaps it should be a private club? I know the owners and staff can't control the people who visit this place. I guess it's just so disappointing to encounter this in northeast Ohio. I won't go there again. read more

We went there for the second time ever. Which was on a Thursday of May 12th. The girl with the yellow shorts behind the bar was so unbelievably rude and rolled her eyes just for me asking if there was a server on the patio. She barked at us saying ' if you wanna eat or drink you order here, then take it outside!' Then I APOLOGIZED for asking the wrong questions. That is when she rolled her eyes and walked away to another male Customer. And that's when she's like sorry about that what can I get for you. Then she never came back to us we start at the bar for about maybe 10 to 15 minute she never acknowledged her anything the bar wasn't packed there was none of the tables were for there was maybe five people at the bar. I do not recommend place the food was great the first time the bartender the first time was great but if this is how this is places ran I would never go there that lady was so rude she was more worried about her short shorts and the male attention that she was getting than actually having a paying customer that would've tipped her really well read more

I was squatting in their parking lot for work for a few hours and decided to check out their reviews. Looked good. Come lunch time I went in and got some food to go. It is very nice inside, plenty of tvs and seating for the lunch crowd. And the girl bartending greeted me right away, was very friendly and I have to mention, absolutely gorgeous. If I was single, I would have asked her out on the spot. I had the homemade Italian Sausage sandwich and pub chips. The pub chips were crunchy and warm and the sandwich was great. My husband and I were in Youngstown for the first time and found this great little pub. We like to support local Establishment's. Nick and his staff was very friendly, the service was great and the food even greater! Sausages home made, great beef brisket and I had a gyro which was very tasty. The price was right. The place is one block parallel to Robbins Ave. There are a few industries in the area and older homes of honest working-class people. What a sheltered life some people must live. Niki'z has the best pub food in the Mahoning Valley period. Great wings, burgers, Reubens, turkey sandwich, sausage patty, fries etc. First Saturday of the month is lamb, ham, pork and whole chickens on the spit. Other Saturdays are excellent bbq ribs. On Sundays $! tacos are a bargain. Neat, clean place with fair prices for good size portions. They also have a few dinners specials every night. Go once and you'll be hooked. read more

I've been here twice in the past month. Wow is the food good. First I had the sausage sandwich and it was really good. Second time I got their Reuben and it was delicious. All their food is homemade. Great atmosphere for what the building used to be!! Yes it's in the old building where the Naus Club used to be so people from the area will be a little hesitant but let me tell you it's not what it used to be!! It's totally redone. Its actually really funny because if you grew up in the neighborhood like I did you'd never think a gem like this would take over the old neighborhood bar.
