Nick and I stopped in to try the karaoke. The first night we found that they had an automated type karaoke machine that worked great. The place was small but everyone was so friendly it didn't matter. We had some beers and seltzers and had a fun time. In fact, we had so much fun we went the next night too! The second night had a live karaoke DJ (like traditional karaoke). The karaoke guys were amazing and so much fun! The owner Tony remembered our name from the night before and was extremely nice and welcoming. They are also pet friendly which was great! Nikko's Dog Barrrrr was so much fun on football Sunday. I was on vacation celebrating my niece's birthday. We stopped by to watch the rest of the Ravens Pittsburgh game. It's a small bar with a lot of heart. Oh and you can bring your dog. Dog people are the best. The owner was super nice as were all of the bar patrons. You must visit the restroom. There are pictures of dogs covering the walls. The owner advised some of them are his and some are pics patrons have brought in of their dog. Very entertaining while using the restroom LOL! If you are in the St. Pete area I highly recommend stopping by and checking out this bar. You don't have to have a dog to come in but you should at least like dogs on some level because you will meet a few. read more

This is my new favorite place! When my workday ended early I ventured here as I've been wanting to check it out and strongly believe in supporting local business. Plus there's doggies! ! Was greeted by the super nice and bubbly barmaid who walked me through the cocktail menu and also explained about their different flavored mimosas and sake selection. On her recommendation I opted for the mango mut. A combination of vodka..dark rum..mango amd sweet and sour. Yummy! Great choice. I lingered a bit and checked out the gourmet dog treats...costumes..and the new deck with a water view. A couple four legged friend stopped by and we're obviously pleased with their treat choices. Opted for a second drink and tried the sea dog..vodka..curacao...soda water and fresh mint leaves. Very refreshing and eye pleasing as well. The prices were surprising low at 4$-5$ a drink. The barmaid was super friendly and informed me that a there's no good but tons of places that deliver to them and you can bring in food as well. There's a dogged homeyness at this establishment. The patrons and barkeep are cheerful. The dogs are well behaved and modeled ubiquitously throughout the interior. Fun bar. Great live music. Amazing owner. The best dog treats. What more could you ask for?. Our dogs are obsessed with everything we get them from here and the people around are friendly and great to hang out with. We end up here most times without our pups because it's on our way home but end up having a great time with all the other dogs around. Great little bar! Bring your pup's! We like the small, sorta modern interior. Beer and wine only, but that's OK with us. Sometimes, they have a band, and it's hard to talk to your friends, as its a small venue. Otherwise, they occasionally have a "guy with a guitar" and that seems to be the right venue for Nikko's. We stop in a couple times a month, and we always have a good time. read more

We randomly stumbled into Nikko's dog bar, what a great place.!! They gave us free cake and free pizza. Big time Philadelphia eagles bar, but they're nice to all NFL fans. We were so happy to find this cool little bar when we visited Treasure Island Florida. We went there after a wedding rehersal with a group of 16 people. Young folks, babies and older folks were all well taken care of and we left happy and well fed as Tony had some food delivered for our group. You are gonna love Tony the owner...I promise. read more

Went for the first time last night with my GF and my puppy and cannot say enough great things about this place. We met the owner Tony, he took great care of us and made us feel like family. This bar rocks, Ice cold Stella and a happy friendly bartender Shannon!, She is fun and will not let your glass be empty , she is very attentive , always smiling and loves animals like me! I was expecting to go here to let my dog off the leash and play, but the outdoor play area is all open with no closed Gates and right next to the busy street of Blind Pass Road. I came in the early afternoon on a Friday so night time and weekends are probably better and busier, there was only one person in the bar and no dogs. I found this wonderful dog friendly establishment on Yelp during my two week visit to St. Pete. I've visited three times now with my dog Cuddles. All three times we have been greeted by the friendly owners and had a wonderful experience. Nikko's is an outstanding. place on St Pete Beach (the north end). Tony and the staff at Nikko's are warm, friendly and epitomize friendly in the best possible way. We moved here 14 months ago and have attended multiple events ( Halloween, New Years , St Pattie's) on catamarans rented out by the bar. This is a great neighborhood venue that welcomes everyone and your pooch........I did not know that I could share how I felt about Nikko's , mistakenly believing that reviews on Yelp were relegated only to restaurants, clubs etc......Check them out and enjoy... read more

We recently visited during our brief visit to St. Pete beach and it was totally worth it!! It's such a fun atmosphere with creative decor, great music, and a wide selection of drinks. My husband loved the beer selection and I loved the creative dog themed cocktails. The bartender was great. If we lived in the area we would totally be at Nikko's all the time.
