I'm super happy to have found Nikolay. I had a plumber take out a chunk of my wall to swap out the valves and needed to fix that wall. I contacted Nikolay and he requested photos of the wall. After he saw them he gave me a very fair quote. We set a date and time, and he told me what materials I could buy myself, specifically the tiles to make sure they match. He showed up at the agreed time, rebuilt the wall structure and sheetrock, then put the tiles on. It was a tricky area, with the valves sticking out and a corner so I was afraid how it would come out, but it came out great! You can barely see the difference! Nick has helped me out on two separate occasions now. The first time, he and his brother repaired my drywall ceiling. My electrician had installed two new electric boxes on my ceiling but of course to do so, he had to cut a pretty large hole that needed to be attended to. Nick patched the holes using the original ceiling pieces, but crafted his own pieces to fit when necessary. He did such a fabulous, smooth job that you can't tell there were ever holes there. The second time he installed a large recessed medicine cabinet in my bathroom, into the wall. He took his time and explained what he was doing every step of the way, measuring twice before he cut anything, making sure I was pleased with the height of the mirrored cabinet. After that, he installed two sets of curtains. They were double rodded with curtain tiebacks. The rods didn't come with the proper length hardware but he took care of the job using the better hardware he had. Again, he was very meticulous in explaining the options of curtain rod length and other options. Both times Nick was quick and direct with his communication in booking the appointments. He always cleaned up after his jobs very thoroughly and never left a mess. Of course so much of cleaning comes with prepping an area with tape and plastic before you even start to work, to avoid ceiling and wall dust making its way all around your house. These two brothers are my go-to for any job. I very recently had a mice issue in my apartment in the West Village and had called an exterminator. The exterminator was useless and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to seal all openings in the apartment. I called Nikolay and his brother and they did a superb job. They patched up a giant hole in the wall behind the stove and underneath the bathroom sink and also sealed all gaps in the radiators. It is rare to find people who are ethical and work with integrity in this city. I had hired multiple people in the past to do up my Condo but since I met these guys, I first ask them if they can do the job before reaching out to anyone else. Just today I got them to fix the mirrors on the sliding doors of my closet. The safety clip had been knocked off and the mirror was potentially going to collapse on me. ANOTHER job well done! This time around, I needed tile replacement and repair in my bathroom around the tub. Nikolay and his brother ripped all the old tile out, ripped the wood and other stuff behind that out, installed some kind of waterproof bathroom grade plank, put silicone sealer around that, then installed the new tiles, then did the grout between all the tiles and the put silicone sealer where the tiles meet the tub., EXCELLENT professional job. I couldn't have asked for a better job. These guy, as I've said in a previous review for a previous job, truly know what they are doing and did another great professional job!
