We hired Tony's handyman to do simple household projects and they were completed well and thoroughly. We hung drapes, mount a tv, soundbar, and floating shelf, and install an A/C unit. The price was more reasonable than other bids solicited for the same project, so good value overall. My only frustration was the negotiation to get to a reasonable price. Hired to disassemble/reassemble my couch. He told me he had everything necessary to do the job. When he sent someone to do the job, I was told that the couch needs specialized tools to take apart. I know! That's why I hired you! I needed it out *today* so I had him just take it apart and leave the pieces on the curb for a lower price. Guess I'll be buying a new couch soon. Incredibly disappointed. Update because I apparently need to be clearer about this: I had the sofa taken apart and reassembled in my apartment when I first moved there, which is why I know it was completely possible. I insisted he take it apart and destroy it because I had no other option given the timeframe. It's clear he did NOT have all the necessary tools, or else he would have been able to provide the service that I have already had provided to me before with this very same couch. read more
