Anthony is a thief. He quoted me $1500 but the job cost $2600. He did not center the TV properly. It's 5.5" off center. Plus the TVs are too high. They should be eye-level. I know this, bc we had to hire a different contractor to fix his shoddy work. And, his spackle/patch work is awful. He also left magic marker on our wall because he put the outlet in the wrong spot. He must have a lot of friends who are willing to write false reviews because he is not competent. Run, don't walk from this guy!

Mounted 85 inch Sony Z9J TV with back light

Originally, I was hesitant to mount this TV since it weighs over 150 pounds. After consulting with Anthony, he explained that if properly installed, even a heavy TV would be safe. With his assurances that any TV he mounts will not fall, I decided to proceed. On the day of the installation Anthony and his partner showed up on time and proceeded to ask me where I wanted the TV. I required the TV to be mounted 10 inches above my console. In addition, I wanted the cables hidden behind my wall. Anthony listened to my requirements and made it work. He was quick and efficient, while being careful when handling the very heavy TV. When lifting it, I saw him and his partner took special care not to put pressure on the screen. When drilling, Anthony made sure to catch all the debris and as a result the area was clean when he left. Ultimately the TV was mounted very securely and looked great. I was very happy with the end result and would recommend Anthony's service to anyone who values good workmanship.

He arrived on time and came prepared with all the necessary tools and accessories (drills, anchors, levels, cord casing, cord mgmt and extra extension cord (if needed)). We sent him our tv specs and mounting equipment specs in advance so there were no surprises. He kept the area clean, installed the mount and tv without any issue, and overall spared my wall from becoming Swiss cheese (by my terrible DIY skills). I contacted Anthony to mount my TV on a pillar in my apartment in NYC. He responded very quickly with a fair and reasonable estimate. Since I know nothing about brackets and mounts, he offered to purchase the materials I needed and bring them with him. My building required a COI which he provided within minutes. On the day of the job he arrived on time and worked quietly and efficiently. I had work to do in the other room and he didn't bother me once. He called me in a little while later and the TV was securely mounted. It was my fault that I never went to see what he was doing - I told him I would've preferred the TV to be mounted a few inches higher. Well guess what, Anthony said no problem at all and he re-mounted it a few inches higher. I couldn't be happier with Anthony's work. Bravo! Highly recommend. read more

Quality of work is good and Jonathan was very quick and efficient, but I wish he could be more forthcoming with the price. I was quoted 95 flat fee but paid 420 excluding tax. I understand this might be a fair cost to mount my large TV but I would prefer knowing the full price beforehand and not be surprised by the full bill. read more

More expensive than expected. Get an accurate estimate if you live in White Plains as there was a significant travel charge we were surprised by. But I didn't have to do it and it's accurately centered. Not sure if I would use again. Might shop around more. read more

Years later and I needed to replace my bulb again, got a good look at Anthony's work and he completely set up the hardware incorrectly and we had to undo EVERYTHING. I cannot convey how little faith and respect I have for them. Do not use them unless you're trying to get scammed and your equipment messed up. read more

Originally, I was hesitant to mount this TV since it weighs over 150 pounds. After consulting with Anthony, he explained that if properly installed, even a heavy TV would be safe. With his assurances that any TV he mounts will not fall, I decided to proceed. On the day of the installation Anthony and his partner showed up on time and proceeded to ask me where I wanted the TV. I required the TV to be mounted 10 inches above my console. In addition, I wanted the cables hidden behind my wall. Anthony listened to my requirements and made it work. Anthony is one of the most professional people I've encountered in quite a long time. It's great to see people still take pride in their work. He mounted a 55" tv on a cement wall, used the proper tools (hammer drill was needed) and there was not a spec of dust left behind! He's extremely knowledgeable and gives you multiple options on location, mount type and also connection possibilities. He's not trying to upcharge you either, he just wants a happy customer. Historically, I used home theater folks to help mount my TV, but given they charge by the hour (including travel time), I was looking for something less expensive. Sure enough, not only was Anthony much more affordable, but the job he did was way better than anyone I had used in the past on my 65" Plasma. I was a bit nervous when he showed up all by himself, thinking that the TV was too big for one person to handle. But he proved me wrong. Anthony did an absolutely sensational job for me and I could not be happier. The quality of the work and was top notch. I really had hoped I wouldn't have had to post this up, but I want to protect and warn any future possible customers, and encourage to please shop around carefully before hiring these people! I had gone based on prior reviews and went ahead and scheduled to have my 46" Tv installed with a full motion slim tilt, with the wires hidden in the walls. Sounds simple enough right? I was advised that I could go ahead and buy my own mount or use one of theirs. Because I was short on time I said that it would be fine to use their mount. The cost would be $90.00. Mind you also I have wall frame moldings with wallpaper inside of them (cost an arm and a leg). Day of install, I was at work, and my wife was at home, two men entered the home ready for the install. While on facetime I can see the sloppy work begin to happen right in front of my eyes! I couldn't believe what was happening. They were drilling without proper measurements, making huge holes improperly on my wallpaper. Anthony himself does not do all the work! He didn't even come, he sent two very inexperienced men he has outsourced without my knowledge to come hack up my beautiful wall! They put holes all over the place, ruined all my wallpaper, misaligned a cheap $25 mount (which again I paid $90 for). The TV was not even centered on my wall, hanging slanted. Also they said they couldn't hide the wires, so they cut my molding and placed a thick wire molding against the wall. I also couldn't properly close in the TV into the Mount, because they mounted my cable box and it was hitting the top of the box. Even the zip ties they used were white! So I basically paid Anthony to have these "other guys" come hack up my wall with holes everywhere and have wires everywhere, with the TV hanging lopsided! By the time I got home from work all the damage was done already. I called Anthony right away furious, yet being patient and he sounded very surprised and told me he could fix whatever was done wrong. I told him he needed to get there right away the next day if possible and fix it! I was told to order a new mount myself wait on it ship to my home, since I don't have time to go to the store and pick one up and he would come then, 4 days later! I finally get my mount and it is 100 times more stable and better quality than the trash he got me! I asked for a difference of price of $60.00 back since I had not gone the other route anymore. I could have and should have asked for all the damages he had done to my wall! I had to pay out of pocket after he reinstalled it, to redo my wallpaper. Turns out he was able to install it hidden behind the wall! He asked for a receipt not believing what I was telling him. I told him I paid cash with no receipt and to call his guys! He tells me it's late and he cant get a hold of them! I advised him very nicely please get back to me, it's the principle of the matter, not the dollar amount! I had never heard back since. I have plenty of disgusting pictures of the initial install still on my phone, which I will reserve to not put up. The only reason he got a 2 star instead of 1 is because he came and did it the right way in the end. Please beware as his company is expanding and he is using inexperienced people to do his work, please make sure he will come himself to do the work and also buy your own mount! BEWARE!!! read more

It's hard for me to say enough positive things about Anthony and his TV mounting service. My family just moved to Brooklyn and we had two large TVs to hang. We found Anthony on Yelp, he came right over -- he came late in the evening, which was the only time we could do it -- and his installation job was picture perfect. No cables, no wires, no mess. He hid our cable boxes out of sight and gave us an infrared sensor for the remotes. And he left us extra free HD input cables (neatly tucked away of course) in case we add any other A/V equipment for our system down the road. If you have any A/V installation or mounting work to do, Anthony is absolutely the best person for the job. Since then though Anthony has pretty much become our handyman. The super in our building is a non-helper when it comes to projects, so we find ourselves calling Anthony all the time. He is very skilled, he comes usually the same day or one day after I contact him and he takes care of virtually anything we throw at him. For instance, his work is all over my baby daughter's bathroom -- he hung a 50 lb. mirror over her sink, very securely since we are always concerned about safety -- and he also set up a perfect 4-picture square of baby animal frames on the wall. I'm pretty handy, but I don't trust myself to hang 4 pictures perfectly like that -- Anthony does it with mathematical precision. On top of all this he's totally friendly and respectful, his prices are reasonable and you'll never be nervous having him in your home. I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

Long story short - Just great. Professional, nice, efficient, good at what he does, easy to work with, and great pricing. Also, he took a lot of care to make sure that the mounting was aesthetically pleasing. I would highly recommend him to everyone I know. Long story We were moving from BK to Queens. I didn't have time to shop around so I just figured if I go big box, it'll be convenient, even if it's more expensive. Wrong. Big Box messed up my order, delivered the mounting equipment on the wrong day, sent the Geek team to my old address in BK , tried to call the service guy to redirect him, but had the wrong cell number in their computer system, and then told me I just had to deal and reschedule for another day... You'd think they would have the logistics down... Even though their customer service rep was sympathetic, it didn't really make up for a poor product/service. So, literally, while I had Big Box Customer Service on the phone, I did a google search and found Anthony and asked if he could come. He said yes, he could come in the evening. He came, installed, was super nice and efficient, and just plain good. I would say that it was the most ideal installation experience I've ever had. No waiting around. He was polite and took off his shoes. You could tell he's a hard worker so you feel good about having found a great guy. Anyway, highly recommend!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Anthony and will continue to use and pass along his service to everyone we know. We live in Westchester and Anthony lives in Queens....he went out of his zone to provide amazing service. Anthony arrived on time and was extremely professional. The amount he charges is so affordable compared to other installation services AND he does a better job. The only negative i will say is since we have sheet rock walls the holes were a little too big for my taste but he did a professional & clean job. I heard him drilling but when he was done I didn't see a mess. He gave very informative & professional advice regarding the positioning of the TV. I didn't even get my TV stand yet so I gave him the product measurements and he installed the TV with ample space for my TV stand that was soon to come. If you're looking for fast and reliable service, look no further than Anthony!! My boss asked me yesterday to find someone to come install a TV we had here as soon as possible. I found Anthony through a quick Google search and after reading his reviews realized he was a perfect fit for the job. While he proposed coming the following week, I asked if he could be here same day or next, and he quickly obliged. He showed up the next day with everything he needed to do the job. I have had four home theater systems installation in my life since the early 90s and Anthony has been the best installer who has serviced me. Anthony responded within few hours of contacting him to confirm the times he would be available to come to mount, connect, synchronize my system [TV, sound system, sync of smart applications, etc]. I scheduled an appt with Anthony after reading a post in my building recommending him highly. Anthony accommodated me into his schedule on short notice the same day. He was cognizant of my time and let me know when he was enroute to my apt. The installation was excellent and it is apparent that Anthony takes a great deal of pride in doing a job well. He showed great attention to detail in making sure things were left clean and as he had found them. Additionally, Anthony asked me questions about things that I would have thought about aftewards and regretted not asking, thus saving me the frustration of not having something the way I would've wanted it. Anthony is a true pro. I needed to change the mount of our TV from a stationary one to an articulating one in order to accommodate our new xbox. Not only did he switch it out, but he took a look at our stereo system to work out what cables we needed to run the xbox through the surround sound. Though we didn't have the cables, he drilled a hole through our cabinet so when we got the correct cables, all we need to do is run the wires through. It took me over a year to get around to hanging my plasma TV and when i finally decided to get it done, Anthony's came as the most highly recommended in the area. He knows exactly how to find support beams and electrical wiring to mount in the best, safest and most secure spot. They sent an employee named Andre who was very knowledge before and during the installation process. He recommended a different bracket than the one I had purchase.. and the old bracket I returned was later recalled a few months later. He communicated when he was coming and arrived during that window. He installed my TV quickly and it looks great. He also went over operation instructions for the new TV since I also added a sound bar. I would have never figured it out on my own. Andre was very professional. I needed help (i) mounting 2 TV's, (ii) routing wires from tv's into closets, (iii) connecting built in speakers which were here when I moved in, to my TVs, (iv) setting up a receiver for the speakers, (v) setting up Apple Play for my built in speakers In terms of price, Sherman quoted me on the project (vs hourly like some others do) which was definitely more economical and great to know exactly what you're in for. The existing wire system in my apartment was old so it took a long time for Sherman to work around and with the existing wire system but did so without complaint. He also came back 3 additional times after the initial installation just to adjust some minor issues (which wasn't his fault) and addressed all of them in a timely manner. He made sure that the job was completed - comprehensively. He won't let an issue go unresolved and he will make sure you're happy with the outcome. Couldn't be happier with his work and I would recommend him to anyone that's looking for AV work at home.
