I have to start by saying I cannot even give this office one star. Their lack of professionalism the way they treat their patients the rude comments from staff, including actually saying we didn't know what we were talking about. We don't have the same insurance. When we had our insurance Call them to verify insurance and co-pay. The office staff told our insurance provider they didn't know what they were talking about. When I called the office, I was told And I quote I wanted to slap that man right through the phone. He was awful. He had no clue what he was talking about. That's so unprofessional to talk to me the patient like that. after complaining then they decided to go back to 2019 and decide we owed balance. Even after insurance verified we did not owe anything we were paid in full I have never been treated so poorly by a doctors office never stepped foot in your office again and have filed a grievance with my insurance and our primary care provider they're awful later, I find out dear friend of mine was told by the doctor that same office doctor, Nicu, that he was too fat, and the doctor would not see him. Since when do doctors decide that people are not allowed to have medical care. read more

Dr Nuki is the worst He doesnt care about patients doesnt even introduce himself He goes for surgery that makes him money. He told me I had bladder diverticulitis and that the growth was cancer He performed without a real consultation. A procedure which turned out to be a biopsy I did not have cancer. The reason I went there was I was having pain in my groin He treated me for enlarged prostate gave me unbearable Medications with terrible side effects. This went on for almost 5 months. I had Medicare send me to another urologists' the new urologists' checked me out and told me I DONT HAVE A ENLARGED PROSTATE !!! Its a bone issue that pushing on one side of my groin I am going to report this man to Medicare If something like this has happen to you we need to stand up for ourselves report him so other patients will not have to go through this He needs to be removed from Medicare referral list !!! read more

This review is for the Simi Valley office: the most unprofessional front desk I have ever seen in a medical setting. Doctor wants the patient to be seen in two weeks but front desks denies because "they know more that the doctor" and cannot accommodate the patient, they will give appointment as per their convenience. And this is just one example of several awful experiences with the front desk. Rude, entitled, narcissistic ladies in the office front desk. It makes you want to change doctors. I really do not understand how after so many complaints from patients they keep this unpleasant customer service people working here. read more

I've had Dr Niku as my doctor for a few years already. This man is so great! So professional. His front desk team is amazing! They get everything taken care of quickly and professionally. Dr Niku took my stent out recently and he did it so quickly I didn't even have pain and didn't even feel it. He's a great doctor. Highly recommend! PS the office is always clean! read more

I'm way past due in writing this review. I have been under the care of Dr. Niku for bladder cancer for 5 years and saw him for a kidney stone a few years before that. Dr. Niku performed the bladder surgery and I honestly feel that he saved my life and my bladder. Follow ups have been routine since the surgery (5 years ago) and there is never a wait when I go for my appointments. I have called his nurse Brenda or the office staff a few times with questions and have always gotten a response back. Very happy with Dr. Niku and his staff. read more

First time seeing this doctor; was concerned about a UTI, self tested positive at home. Explained no fever, no pain, but high leukocytes and nitrates. Told him I started Bactrim today till I saw a doctor (typical antibiotic for me with UTI) and I developed some rash. Wondering if it was a reaction to it, I showed him my back. Before I knew it, he was doing a DRE, and was NOT gentle, nor did he at least prepare me. Painful exam; wants me to come back for cystoscopy, which I will not do. Not with this guy. No one in the office knew how to smile or greet. Doctor says not to treat unless there are symptoms. I'm supposed to get sick with a fever, etc, before he treats me? I'm trying to be proactive considering my 61 year history of diabetes. So what does he do, with no pains, no fever? Prescribes Levaquin. I would have thought with my complaint, and being a new patient, he would have at least asked for a urine specimen to be sure, but instead he takes my word for it that I have a UTI. Didn't care for the guy. There are other urologists. read more

And had to be treated by infectious disease doctor because of his arrogant attitude. My immune system has been ruined because of his lack of care. Shame on you! I have been seeing Dr. Niku for several years for prostate issues. More recently, I required surgery which was performed by Dr. Niku. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Niku explained the procedure and answered all my questions. In all my visits to Dr. Niku's office, he has taken his time with me. I have never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Dr. Niku is a good listener, is concerned about any issues and is prompt in seeing his patients. His office is almost always busy, yet I have never had to wait a significant period of time past my scheduled appointment. His staff is attentive and caring. I highly recommend Dr. Niku. read more

Dr. Niku has always been kind, a good listener, respectful towards me and my father and above all else, extremely knowledgable. Two big thumbs up for a doctor whom I have come to know over the years. Had a lot of trepidation going into a serious and difficult operation. However, it was a tour de force for the doctor. It was lengthy and extremely successful. It was a wonderful result. Its great to have such a fine doctor with instant command of all the details and alternatives. He made a wise decision to have a recuperative stay in the hospital which greatly aided my recovery. The staff in his office are also very supportive which reflects the lead..
