There is nothing flashy about Niles Flash Cab. I called for a cab to take me from my apartment to O'Hare. (I live right on the border of Niles and Des Plaines.) After waiting outside for 30 minutes I called the dispatcher and she told me it would be there in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later I called back and she seemed annoyed that I would dare call back and again told me 5 more minutes. After over an hour the cab finally came and the driver didn't even bother to get out of the cab and help me with my luggage - he just popped the trunk from the driver's seat. I just barely made my flight in time. I probably could have walked to the airport faster. Needless to say, I will never use this company again. read more

This place offers, by far, the best service on the North West side of the city. They taxis always arrive quickly, are clean, and often operated by friendly and skilled drivers. I've used this cab company for the last several years and do not have a single complaint. I've had Flash drivers pull over and pick me up even after their shift has ended, just because it was raining. Good people. read more

This is hands down the worst cab service ever. Please everybody do not use this cab company. They have shitty phones they have shitty service they take forever to pick you up. So I called they said 10-20 minutes I told them I'll be outside. 50 minutes later I left walked to Walgreens bought a uber card and got home. Around a hour and 15 minutes later these motherfuckers called me and asked if I still needed a cab. It's was 10 degrees out. Trust me call Uber! Flash cab sucks so bad they take forever and don't care about customers, it was a Tuesday night in the suburbs not too much going on for a 80 minute pick up. And I was in niles ! Not even going ten minutes away in a car. Horrible worst service ever. You will be stranded don't do it call uber! I would give negative stars !! read more

Wish I could leave less than 1 Star. I work with elderly patients and they left one stranded for 2 hours before we called another cab company. Kept giving us the run around every time we called. They should be ashamed. read more

I used this company 4 times in the last several weeks. Two times I booked them in advance, the other two just flagged them at a location. I paid w/a designated business credit card each time and had a chance to check the charges against the receipts they gave me. Three out of the four drivers overcharged the card, one by almost $10. I called the taxi company twice, both times was advised to leave a message, but never got a call back. Had to file a dispute with my credit card issuer, still pending. It's a hassle since I had to provide all the paperwork, make photos of the receipts, etc. This is a dishonest practice, to say the least. Interestingly, once I got the hang of it, I began to advise the drivers to please make sure to post the same amount to the card as they put on the receipt b/c, as I put it, "Unfortunately, sometimes drivers "make mistakes", but no, the last one still made the same "error". Never have heard of anything like what happened last night. I called flash cab gave them my credit card number and asked them to pick my girlfriend up and take her to her mother's. they charged me $100. Okay no big deal, it was expensive, but I had no choice. The driver arrives to pick her up, asks her if she has cash for his tip. When she doesn't he refuses to take her home. This is at three in the morning. Unbelievable! Then they send another cab and when he gets there, he decides it's too far to drive. He's not going to take her. So I have to get up at three in the morning after I had a couple too many beers the night before and drive her home half drunk. I highly recommend that you do not use flash cab they suck!!!!!!!!!! read more

I've had nothing but good experiences with this company. I needed a cab on short notice when my ride fell through on a rainy Saturday night to get downtown for a wedding, and they showed up 10 minutes later ready to go. They've always shown up whenever I or a friend called in need of a ride on a weekend when we couldn't drive ourselves home. The drivers tend to be nice enough, and the cars aren't nearly as bad as some cabs you can catch downtown. read more

Waited over a half an hour for a cab. When I finally called, the dispatcher, Joan, told me the driver could t find house and got frustrated and went home. On Sunday morning/mid-day you get this real jerk for a dispatcher who, TODAY, left one guy here waiting 30 minutes, and then some! Then he'd have the audacity to tell me he'll be there in a minute. I'm reading all these reviews about rude dispatchers. Well they certainly fixed that problem. I just called and was greeted and helped by an extremely nice and helpful dude. Glad I like to check thing out for myself before knocking a company. Maybe they saw those reviews or got enough complaints to fix it. Good business practice to listen to your customers. read more

I just called Niles Cab to see how much it would cost for me to get to the place I needed to go. The dispatcher I was talking on the phone was extreamly rude. If there is any other cabs near by my place, I would use them not Niles Cab! Hopefully they will get rid of the rude dispatcher. read more

Just got in a cab from O'hare. After stating my destination, regularly a 38-40 dollar fare from O'hare, The cabbie immediately got out and spoke with the lady in charge of putting people from the cab line into the cab. She came over and asked what my destination was. I told her. The cabbie got back in the cab and asked if I knew why that happened. I said, no that's never happened to me before, and I regularly take cabs this exact route with no ptoblems. He explained he had been waiting for 2 hours and before the wait had a very short fare and went on to complain about all the short fares he was getting. You know what? That's not your customer's fault. Thanks (not) for blaming me for your own screwballness. Ohare makes us all wait in the same line for a variety of cabs-- I have no control over whether or not I am the length of fare the cabbie "wants" of the particular cab I get put in. What a way to sour the beginning of a vacation. Next time, I'm riding yellow. read more

take this cab every day to work 2x a day, once in the morning and then in the afternoon. last nite i called a cab and have to cancell becasue there was a change in plan. gave the driver 5$ as a courtesy. Tonight as i called the dispatcher her name was Joan, remebered my address and she refuse to send me a cab...It was so rude and she just hang up the phone on me. After 1 year of using their service, one time i have to cancell ann they think they are the only cab company in the world. read more
