The chicken and waffle was different from what we usually have. This was half a waffle with a few pieces of fried chicken on top and a lot of fries on the side. The fries were so tasty but it was just too much for us to finish. The first bite of the chicken was a surprise as it was very salty. The pan fried haddock was perfectly cooked and served with a very interesting chutney. It made a nice change from the usual tartar sauce. My husband enjoyed his burger which also had out of the ordinary seasoning and toppings. The fries were amazing. We sat outside on Victoria Row, and there was live music from Always on Stage throughout dinner. It created such a fun atmosphere and made for the perfect summer evening. We took our server Brooke's recommendations and ordered a half dozen raw oysters, the Chickpea Salad, the Baked Oysters 3 Ways (Rockefeller Butter, Champagne Cream, and Miso Aioli), Salmon, Lobster Thermidor, and the Miso Cheesecake for dessert. I'm so glad we trusted her because every dish was absolutely exceptional. Everything was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. The oysters were the standout of the meal and easily my favorite on PEI. Brooke was wonderful throughout the evening. And they were able to remove the salmon for my mother-so they can customize for food sensitivities. The vegetable pakora was very light and also the best we've ever had-fried to perfection and very flavorful. It was served with a mint chutney, but my favorite pairing was the tamarind sauce.
