Just got a pedicure today for my birthday. It was really nice. Wonderful smells and relaxing. Had my feet in hot wax which was awesome. Love that they massage your shins and calves too. It look maybe 90mins to do everything. It was $52, but got $3 off for paying in cash. So that's nice they do that. Of course I have to have the massager on too which makes it even more relaxing. read more

If you're looking for a place to get a manicure or pedicure that is not overpriced and don't need an extravagant ambience this is a great little gem in the north land right beside Subway off North Oak. A lot of times you can just walk in but during holidays and weekends and after five you may not get to walk in. Nina is definitely the one to see if you want any artistic design if you have high expectations but most of them can do simple designs. Hannah is great! She makes my nails look natural. read more

They do a great pedicure as long as you don't expect them to honor appointment times. The sign in sheet shows somebody signed in 2 minutes before I got here and they had taken them and now I have to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time for my pedicure. And Nina acted like it's no big deal. It's a bummer, they do a good job but I will definitely be looking for a new salon from here forward. read more

Been going to Nina for almost 3 yrs. She's always been great. Ever since her ex-husband started working there now she charges me different prices all the time. Got a fill and now she's not taking the acrylic all the way to the cuticle, I'm assuming her ex-husband says to do it so we'll come in more often for a fill. I said something to her about it, now she wont even speak to me, nor look at me. Told another worker "she doesn't feel comfortable doing my nails." Moral of the story....Ninas is great as long as you pay whatever price they tell you, and accept whatever they give you. After 3 years, I will never go back read more

I love going to this salon. I have gone to other salons in the Northland but this one is by far the best. My nails look amazing every time I leave and they last forever. Other places my nails pop off after 2 weeks. I just got a new full set put on today and have already received 3 compliments. Nina does such a great job. I would highly recommend visiting! read more

I have patronized Nail a couple of times. I would say that the girls at the nail saloon does a great jobs. However, I have realized that when it comes to Nina's African American customers, there are not treated as well as her Caucasians customers . I have watched her greet and speak to each and every Caucasians customers as they walk through the doors, and at the end of her services she thank them, mostly by name. However, that is not the same with her African American customers. My most recent trip to the Nail Salon, I was not greeted when I walked in. However, the customers that came in after me, all were Caucasians, where greeted with a "hello". Also, at the end of there services they was thanked. On one my recent visits I heard her reference one of her African American customers as "ghetto", because the customer was asking her the cost of each service and the owner stated that," she needs to go to the hood to get her nails done if she can not afford our services". A word of advised to the owner, Please get over your racist bias. Every time I received your services I was nice polite and I left a good tip. I have observed this situation with Nina on several occasion, not just one. Treat all of your customer with the same respect. read more

Today was my second time coming here. The first time was amazing, today not so much... I was told to sit in the chair and soak my feet so I did. Then before asking me anything the lady comes over and starts cutting my toenails really short!!! I told her to not cut them that so short because I wanted a French manicure. So the lady working next to her told her what I said and then they began speaking to each other about the situation. Then on to the massage part of the pedicure .. it was horrible. It actually hurt.. and she didn't massage my feet only my upper calf. this was by far the strangest and worst pedicure I have ever had. It was actually uncomfortable. She then began putting white polish in my toes and again I had to stop her... I told her I wanted gel polish but she didn't understand and then a customer had to get the other worker to stop her. Thankfully they had another employee do the gel manicure which turned out pretty good, but by this time I was so frustrated it didn't really matter to me what it looked like I just wanted it to be over. but that wasn't the end... back comes my original lady to put more lotion on my legs but not my feet isn't this a pedicure not a leg rub session?? I honestly think she is afraid of feet because she did her best not to touch mine the entire time I was there and I don't have bad feet at all lol So once she finished lotion on my legs she quickly tried to put my sandals on and I was again trying to tell her to stop I would do it myself when my feet and legs were no longer wet. I am giving this place 2 stars only because I was here once before and it was the best pedicure I have ever had and today the worst. I guess it just depends on who does it for you. read more

I used to go there for years. When they first took over it was wonderful... now.. not so much. I would book appointments and they would constantly make me waited. Waited 45 minutes for Nina (who always did my nails) much like other reviews.. I expressed frustration and she wouldn't even look at me. She had someone else try to talk to me.. then I was passed around from person to person. No apology.. nothing. Then, my teenage daughter made an appointment and went in.. they started her nails and the guy disappeared in the middle of doing her nails. I had to ask if he was going to finish her nails and asked where he was.... he just left to pick up his kid.... took almost 2 hours for gel mani... no thanks. Nina was awesome. She was quick, but still attentive to detail. I went pretty much right at open on a Monday, so I didn't have to wait. A few people came in behind me. It was only about 15-20 minutes for those behind me to get in, even with me and another client getting fills and color (only two ladies working at 9:30 AM that day). I was only there for maybe 45 minutes, and I showed up not even knowing what kind of color or design I wanted. Definitely will be back! Probably a lot. read more

I walked into my appointment at 6:00 was immediately approached and asked if I could wait, when I responded no, that I had made an appointment for 6 with Nina the woman walked away and now I sit it's 6:30 and no one has said a word to me. Nina continues to work between 3 clients and won't acknowledge me. As I get up to leave I'm asked if I can wait 15 min... ummm no! I should of be told when I booked the appointment they couldn't get me in WTH. Really bad 1st impression. read more
