I got a gel mani/pedi with french tips, went on a Thursday, they did both at same time and charged less than other places I have been to. BUT, 2 days later my nails were allready chipping the white tips were coming off and looked terrible. I contacted them to get them fixed, I was told they were completely booked up and could not see me, I asked if I could come a couple days later when they were not busy and would send photos showing the chipping so they would not think I just wanted a free fresh up. BUT I was told they were completely booked up for days!! This is terrible customer service and nails should last for more than two days, I had to go to another nail place pay extra money to get my nails redone. I will not go back there again. Worst experience ever! I went to get my underarms waxed and the lady did not have any idea what she was doing. I am not lying. It took her 20 minutes to wax one of my underarms, and she didn't even fully wax it. She tweezed half of it, which was extremely painful. I asked her if she had ever waxed before because I get my waxed often, so it was not my first rodeo, but she was waxing in tiny tiny parts and the wax wasn't even hot. The worst part of all this is she did not finish one underarm because I told her to just stop since I was in so much pain, and I was still charged. I could not believe it! I came here about five times over the past two years thinking it would be my new nail spot since it's literally walking distance from my house, but sadly I won't be coming any longer. The past three times I've come in I got the same girl who does a rushed, crappy job EVERY. TIME. Twice she gave me sloppy gel manicures, not even bothering to make sure my nails were cut the same length. The final straw was when I got a pedicure and she used the cuticle trimmer tool to PULL the sides of my nails while she trimmed my toenails, resulting in them bleeding & being swollen for days. She slapped the polish color on and then 'cleaned' it up with a brush, but did such a rushed job of it. I received a great first impression, when I walked in. The ladies were very nice and welcoming. They were able to seat me fairly quickly although it was packed. But as soon as I got in the car, I noticed the quality of their work and hated it. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and never have seen my nails like this. The surface is not a nice smooth finish. The only reason I decided to try a new place was cause I moved and this was the closest to my home. I didn't go back in, to have them correct their work or to complain about the quality as I am not great at confrontation and they were super busy, packed. I've been to this salon 3 or 4 times. The first time the woman doing my manicure spoke about me in Vietnamese to her coworker because for some reason she didn't think I was Vietnamese (I am Vietnamese and understand it fluently). She didn't say anything too terrible just thought she wished I chose a differently color because the one I wanted was running low. I ignored it because Vietnamese women in nail salons usually say worse things. I've overheard them speaking ill of the clients sitting in front of them. None of the girls who helped me in the past said anything about me until today. Jen or Jenny did my pedicure today and when she finished she just had me sit in the chair till my toe nails dried. I told her I can pay while I wait for them to dry and tipped her more than 20%. I had plans right after so I asked if she could just give me the paper slippers. She proceeded to tell her coworkers how annoyed she was with me. She said why does this girl always come in and talk on the phone and call all of America while I'm doing her nails and then when I finish she hangs up and ask to leave? First of all, it shouldn't bother her at all what I'm doing while I'm getting my nails done. Secondly, I gave her a nice tip and she had the audacity to be angry with me because I needed to leave? This nail salon is walking distance to my house but I will never come back again. She said that I'm a repeat customer who is always talking on the phone when I've literally been there 3 or 4 times with other ladies. Regardless, these women should never be allowed to talk about their customers whether they can speak the language or not. The women here are catty and completely unprofessional. $52 for 'coffin' shaped acrylic nails with gel and a regular pedicure. All 10 fingernails have different size, shape, and are messy! My toenails were cut crooked which is an easy fix but I'm disappointed that the tech didn't just fix it herself. I originally had asked for an almond shape and the lady couldn't shape it so I went with coffin (her suggestion). Very disappointed and not worth the price. I asked her to remove the acrylic from the skin around my nail and I had to keep asking her to fix it. Their acrylic nails are priced varied on what you want. I went in for an acrylic refill and while I was waiting the girl who was going to do my nails walks up to me, doesn't say anything and hands me the color options - and says "what you want?" So rude! She takes me to her table and I tell her I don't want gel and she continued to point at the gel colors - again I told her I don't want gel. While doing my nails she started talking in another language to other people working there and they came over to her table; she then holds up my hand to them and they all start laughing and talking with each other! Clearly they were talking about me ! I felt beyond uncomfortable... my nails came out uneven and she did not file them down enough so they are bumpy. First time visiting and I must say that I was impressed with this little nail salon. It's tucked away to the side of the shopping center but I'm glad I found it. Came in about 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday and there was hardly a wait. I was warmly greeted and they began to work on my nails quickly. I hardly get a manicure or gel nails, even when I know I should do so more often but the cleanliness and prompt service here makes it easy to consider coming back more often. I used to love coming here. This was my go to spot for a decent pedi that was affordable. That is until today. . . . The tech (she didn't even tell me her name) that was working on my pedi did not know what she was doing. After soaking my feet and removing the polish she started to trim my nails. I have not had a pedi in 6 weeks because I had surgery (I can finally move around with mild pain; well enough to leave the house for a pedi). She gets to my left middle toe and all of a sudden jumps up and says "it ok, it ok, I fix" and runs to mani table to grab something. As I look down I see she cut my nail halfway and it's hanging, stuck to skin on the other side. Luckily I'm not bleeding. By now she's sitting there putting nail glue on my toe telling me it's ok. I was so upset I could hardly speak. As she filing the glue down and releasing my glued skin from my nail, I decided I could have a better job at home and I'm not gonna sit there and let her f!ck it up more. The owner came over and said she's fix it for me but the truth is if you hire people who don't now what they are doing and try to charge for it you will Lose customers. Beware. Absolutely my favorite nail salon in OC! Great service, lots of color selections in both gel & regular polish, friendly & attentive staff, and the salon is always clean. They use quality products that last. Acrylic nails last up to 4 weeks (I don't recommend that) without breaking or chipping. The prices are very good and cheaper than other nail salons in the area. I love Van because she's a perfectionist and very detailed, but everyone that's worked on my nails has been great. She also remembers any special requests, or in my case a nail that is sensitive and spilts due to previous surgery. Tip: go Mon-Thurs in the evening or Sundays to avoid a wait. Also, ask for a loyalty card for extra savings after so many visits. read more

The gals are very nice, place is clean, etc. The two downsides are A. They make you digitally sign something with your email and phone number, which I felt uncomfortable with, and B. If you guys haven't tried the SNS dip powder I highly suggest you do, and ask for Chris he is the best. This is my second time trying SNS and my nails are the longest they've ever been (yes these are my natural nails). They last far longer than any gel or acrylic nail I've had in the past.
