I decided to check out this nail spa since it is very close to my house and I was short on time. The nail tech was very easy going and let me know to book appointments in advance in the future. The manicure was quick and to the point and my nails came out pretty nice. Very reasonable pricing as well!

I had a wonderful first time experience getting my manicure and pedicure. Becky and Kim did an amazing job. They took their time to listen to me, take care of my needs, gave me relaxing massages, and beautiful fingernails and toenails. I came to them in a desperate and embarrassing need. One of my big toe nails had been injured months ago and turned black. As it grew out, there was a big gap between the damaged toe and the new toenail. My mother suggested to get acrylic to fill in the gap. I asked Becky if she could help me. She said not to worry. She had this happen to herself before. She asked if it was okay to try to remove as much of the dead toenail as possible which she did! She filed a lot of the black and dead nail away. She then filled it up with acrylic and take a look at my after photo! You cannot tell which big toe was injured! I am so blessed to have meet such caring and loving nail technicians. I went from being ashamed to now being proud and no longer in pain. I asked for a cute design for Halloween and look what they hand painted? Spiders!! I am so grateful for my new nail spot. Don't wait. Come and they will take care of you well!!!

I'm sorry for the jump scare but here it is....My nails do NOT naturally look like this without polish

PLEASE READ -- DON'T GO HERE (July 2025) I never, ever leave reviews but I had a terrible experience here from start to finish. I came in and the first thing I noticed when I sat down was that there was VERY OBVIOUS gunk -- dirt and what looked like possibly old nail clippings -- in the crevice around the faucet of the pedicure station. I politely asked her to clean it, which she did and apologized, but in general I did not feel like the place was well cleaned. I admit, I probably should have left right then but decided to give it a shot. Then I asked for a milky white color and even showed an example, but they did not seem to have anything even close, which was a bit disappointing since it's been such a common trend for a while now. I settled on a brighter white and got my feet in, but as soon as the technician (didn't get her name) put her hands on my feet I knew. She used the CUTICLE TRIMMER to dig UNDER my nails (and I mean dig dig -- sharp pain!! ) And didn't push back my cuticles before attempting to trim. When filing the gel off my nails with the nail bit, multiple times she burned my cuticles because she was so haphazard and wasn't realizing she was going over skin and not nail. Because she was so haphazard and ROUGH throughout the whole thing, she hurt and straight up CUT my cuticles so now even almost 24hrs later I'm having pain in multiple toes. Also, when cutting and filing my nails, she left them ragged and uneven. She did everything SO FAST and was not precise at all. She also did not get my nail buffed nicely, and left it looking absolutely HORRIBLE and cracked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was so disturbed and honestly felt violated by the whole thing that I told her I'd like to leave without continuing with polish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I cannot overstate that I am NOT someone to ever leave bad reviews but this place was hellish. Please do not go here, honestly if everyone working here gives the same quality service (she was the only one there that day) this place should have its license revoked. It was a terrible experience and quite literally ruined my day. Please go elsewhere!

I was looking for natural almond shaped gel acrylics and got exactly what I was looking for! Becky was amazing and friendly, and also had a great sense of humor. Same review as Mona. This was an emergency stop for me. Had to get a pedicure and wasn't able to make it to my salon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]NEVER AGAIN.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dirty, unprofessional, the tech herself needed a mani-pedi, rough, bleeding cuticles and just an average polish job. Not worth $ or time. read more

I want to love this nail salon, I really do. The ladies there are all sweet and work hard to make you happy. HOWEVER, we all know how it is when that one person in your department at work doesn't want to be there and hates their job? This is the person who worked on my daughter's nails. If you look at my daughter's hand where she cut the cuticles, it started bleeding and is swollen. She then put alcohol on the cuts to make it stop bleeding(?) and prevent an infection. My daughter clearly requested she wanted another number color with ACCENT glitter nails not glitter on all nails but was told by the tech that this was the correct color. I was right there across from her getting a pedicure by another tech, and I could hear the conversation. My pedicure turned out beautiful by the way - no complaints and I love it! I'm not sure whether I'll be returning back to Ocean Nails but for now I'll find another salon for my pedicures. read more

This is my go to spot! Every time I get my nails done here they always come out looking so good, they never disappoint! My nails can last up to a month. The product they use is top notch. Length is a big deal for me because I'm very hands on at work and she always gets it right every time! I definitely recommend this place to everyone read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT ANY TYPE OF DESIGN DONE!!! I went to this nail salon based on the photos on Yelp and hoping to see the proclaimed "Angie" that everyone was talking about. Well, apparently Angie now lives in Arizona and the woman who helped me (I didn't get her name) is far from talented when it comes to completing trendy designs. I asked for a full set with hombre and had to completely change what I asked for just so I could walk out of there being mildly content. I'm still disappointed. She was also incredibly rough. She didn't use cuticle softener and just started pushing on my cuticles, completely dry! She also shaved off some skin from the drill. I had to keep telling her several times that she was hurting me. I usually go to Topline Nails in Pico Rivera but now living in Orange County, I wanted something closer. Looks like I'll be making the drive after all. read more

Well I have to say this is the best nail salon in the area. Not only good price 22 for ped and 15 for mani, they did spent their time on my pinkies, massage and scrubs made my skin perfect. Detailed design nails for only 65 that was insane, I would be charged for over 100 bucks for this design for lower quality in another nail spa. Highly recommended. Mia and Julie were both friendly and so professional, surely I will def come back for my next set! note: the spa has a new owner! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I went in and there was only one nail tech.I checked in and the nail tech informed me that she had someone else waiting after her current client and for me to come back later[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She then asked me to write down my name and number on a note pad and that she will call me when she was finished with the customer that was waiting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I waited for her to call me back and she never did. Angie slayed my nails! I was so impressed! I am beyond picky and she said she was too LOL, the perfect match. I have not had acrylics in about two years because I just wanted to give my nails a break. I saw the work Angie was doing on another customer and was like, wow!!! So I asked if she had time to do mine and she did, I got lucky because she did a phenomenal job. Sophia did my pedicure, I can't remember which one I got but I remember it was number two on the menu and it was $25, it was fabulous and she did a great job. She meticulously polished my toenails which I totally appreciate. I have been to Ocean nails in the past for a pedicure here and there and I know this shop hasn't had the best reviews in the past, but they've always been kind to me, it's always been clean and now that they have Angie and they're under new management I think they have a ton of potential and they're worth a try. Not to mention the 20% discount I got today, I got a full set with gel and a pedicure with callous remover and sugar scrub and eyebrow wax for 60 bucks, couldn't beat it! read more

I loved this place and Heidi! I'm from out of town but wanted to treat myself. If you are on a budget but need to treat yourself, this is the place to go! I got a full set of nails, a pedicure ( which was no easy job, feet were a mess), callose remover, sat in the chair massager, a hot stone massage and a bottle of water all for under $100 including tip! I came here several times ,the ser was good . but last week i got a pedi by the lady Katy or Kathy, her hand was shaking a lot so she made my curticle bleeding, it hurts so bad after. Thats all fine with me until I got home then the color faded and look kinda weirder. After that I came back here and Julie fixed it for me. Earlier this week I had my sugaring appointment. I arrive to the Brea location and I get the text to respond that Im there. I respond and Im waiting patiently for someone to open the door. I look back at my texts and see that I booked for the Santa Ana location and not the Brea location. THEN I call the Santa Ana location and Lesly picks up. I told her I was at the wrong location and asked if she would still take me if I came right now and she said yes. My original appointment was at 12pm and she said she can squeeze me in at 1245pm. THEN I drove to the Santa Ana location. Thank goodness she said 1245pm because I got there at 1230 driving around looking for parking. I had never been in that area before. ***The door is unlocked and I go in and I am greeted by Lesly. She told me where to go and to prep myself. Now, I will say the room I was in had a weird smell. Not a nasty smell but like an old building smell. Lesly gets to sugaring me and honestly the pain level was 2-3/10. Also, Lesly is so cool. Professional and flexible. It really felt like a friend was servicing me. We talked about the world cup, Love Island, and others things I can't remember because I took too long to write this review! I was out of there within 15 minutes. She also recommended me a coffee shop as I asked her what was good in that area. She was told that a new California law requires a 20% tip to be added when paying with a card, and there was also an additional $3.50 charge for debit card users. Had we known about these fees beforehand, we would have brought cash. Based on my understanding, the explanation regarding the mandatory 20% tip did not seem accurate. I am happy to leave a generous tip when service is exceptional, but I do not believe customers should be required to pay a 20% gratuity, especially when they are dissatisfied with the quality of the service they received. While this visit was disappointing, I want to acknowledge that previous experiences here have been very positive. I hope management addresses these concerns to ensure future customers have a better experience.

She uses a European extraction technique that is not very common because it can be difficult to do, however I only trust Satik. She's been doing this for so long and knows what she is doing. What's worked for me and my boyfriend with our acne is not only the facials but also the products we use on our skin. Diet helped me initially with calming my acne but everyone is different. My boyfriend has never changed his diet he just has been coming here for treatments and it's reversed the texture he's had on his cheeks and helped minimize fine lines.

I am surprised there are not more comments about this place! My taste is not picky, but you know when someone has done a good job or not. I had been going to another spot for 6 years, but after long waits & a far drive, I needed convenience! I've been trying out places here and there, but none have been able to perform, except for Ocean Nailspa. I Went on a saturday afternoon & there was no wait. It is a calm and relaxing environment; no rude talking amongst the workers. They are sanitary/clean & organized. They have a great variety of colors by OPI & China Glaze along with Gel polishes. Staff are very friendly & welcoming :) I am not a fan of acrylics & always just get color, but I broke a few nails & want them all one length: long. Vi said why would you get acrylics, your nails are strong & nicely shaped, you do not need them. Usually, I'd get offered acrylics because they cost more, but she was honest & took care of my nails. Vi did my nails and she took her time. She did an awsome job! -manicure was great, massage great. -got all the cuticles. -painted the entire nail w/out me having to point out missing spots. -applied the gel coats evenly & continued to check if I was comfortable. I had a pedicure as well, and the massage was so relaxing! second day of gel nail polish. no chips or scrapes & can't wait for my nails to grow to try a different color :) read more
