Tasty food, nice atmosphere and great service. On our way through Cumberland Gap to Cherokee Lake we stopped for dinner. And it was a great choice. Through the main door is the hostess stand and a dinning area but we were seated in the adjoining dinning area where the bar is located. For some reason I prefered that room. The decor was nice, comfy and welcoming. Our server was not super friendly but he was efficient, competent and good. He checked on us regularly but was not overbearing. We had the chicken pasta which was well like and had a bit of a kick to it. An asian salad that was very good with crisp veggies, noodles and shreeded chicken and the chicken stir fry. This dish also was served with crisp veggies, chunck chicken and jasmine rice. My husband and I split this dish, they split it for us and it was plenty wirh dessert. We had the chocolate lava cake and the bread pudding, one with moose tracks ice cream the oter with black cherry ice cream. I'm a bread pudding lover and this was one of the better bread puddings in lt opinion. Light, fluffy and delicious. Highly recommend for food, service and ambience

Service was awesome. The server was training a new hire, but they did not skip a beat. We were pressed for time, and he was so attentive and really came through for us to expedite our meal without making us feel rushed. The food was outstanding. We had the wings appetizer with a side of french fries and the cajun (not spicy) creamy pasta with shrimp. Everything was delicious and the perfect temperature. This place has 2 dining rooms and is busy, but you do not feel cramped or rushed. It's totally worth the visit if you're in Cumberland Gap.

Heard about this place in an email from Living In Tennessee and decided to give it a try. We stopped in at lunch on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy at all. We started with the Street Corn Croquets. They were delicious!! We decided to split the Cuban Sandwich. It comes with fries or a salad. We got the fries. The sandwich had thick pieces of pork and ham with pickles, Swiss cheese and sauce. It was delicious! Carmella was our server and he was great- attentive but not intrusive. The bar area is beautiful too. The restaurant is quaint and rustic and it was a nice experience. We will be back!

After golfing at MonteVista, my friends and I came for lunch. I've visited a few times and it's always been great. They wanted a good place to eat close to golf so they could head home. Nineteen19 delivered. We all enjoyed our meal. Always been pleased when eating here. Great food and good atmosphere with a lot of history within walking distance.

My Wagyu burger ... it looked so good, I took a bite out of it before I remembered a photograph.

This place was a jewel of a find. Tucked away in Cumberland Gap, a small mountain town where I never would've guessed such a place would be. After a recent day of hiking with 16 members of our hiking group, we worked up a voracious appetite. Our fearless leader suggested this place. He had called ahead to make reservations and when we arrived they were ready for us. Our server was Nathan. He is an awesome asset to the team. He was knowledgeable about the menu and there were two items he did not quite know for sure but he readily went to the kitchen, got the answer, and reported back to us. Now this is service with a smile. An unexpected pleasure were hamburgers and other dishes made with Wagyu beef (a special Japanese beef with extensive marbling) making it one of the most mouth-watering tasty hamburger in a long time. The menu has some unexpected offerings that one would normally only see at a high end eatery. The taste here is definitely high end, but the prices are good. They also have a fully stocked bar and dinner service as well. Awesome service Great atmosphere Fabulous food Affordable prices What more could one ask for? It was so good that I will return despite the trip of over one hour to get here. Yep!! It was that good.

I was so impressed by Wrigley Taproom and Eatery. The menu is small and not printed, instead…read moredisplayed on several blackboards adorning the walls, attractively written with colored chalks. As a "farm-to-table" type of place, many of the items included the name of the farm where the ingredients came from. As it was fairly busy I sat at the bar so as not to tie up a 4-seat table. Soon after sitting a pleasant smoky aroma filled the room and I saw the bartender fiddling with a kitchen torch. Making a Smoked Old Fashioned. So that's what I got. What bourbon, he asked. I wasn't sure so he walked me over to the side of the bar and there were so many! I decided on one arbitrarily, a local craft brand, and he approved. Only a $3 upcharge from the standard one. It was very good, though not as smoky as I expected. The cherry was premium, not the standard bar maraschino. I do like an Old Fashioned, but I sort of wished I noticed the list of specialty cocktails first, which were really unusual and intriguing. Such as the "Garden Gnome": Vodka, yuzu, olive juice, basil, St. Germaine, and gin. For beer lovers, a very large diverse selection, from Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, and Mexico. Most of the entrees are a la carte. Order sides separately if you want them. I decided on tacos, with sides of fries and roasted brussels sprouts. This works here even for a single diner because the sides are small and inexpensive ($4 and $5), though a larger size is also offered. The entrees also were reasonable, most $15. Even the Wagyu Steak was just $29, complete with sides. I've seen prices from $40 to $60 elsewhere. The tacos were Birria, which is a Mexican style of slow cooking meat - short rib in this case - seasoned with adobo. They included mozzarella cheese, cilantro, and pickled onions and cabbage. The flour tortillas were deep-fried and more substantial than usual. Two sauces were offered in tiny bowls. One was thin and was probably the braising liquid from the meat and the other white and speckled with green herbs, sort of like a raita. Very good. The fries, crispy, hand cut, crispy, and seasoned, were also very good. And the roasted brussels sprouts were amazing. The best ever - though I seem to say that often. Sauced relatively heavily in sweet maple glaze, tender, and not at all bitter. I was surprised that there were no seafood items on the menu other than the Smoked Salmon BLT taco. And vegetarians might have a problem here. Not much to choose from other than the Big Ass Pretzel or a green salad. For dessert I had Bourbon Butter Cake, with peaches, Amaro (a peach liqueur), bourbon, and ice cream. Good but it could have used more bourbon and liqueur. And it was warmed and served in a small cast-iron skillet so the ice cream was too melted for my liking. That's my fault. I usually ask for these types of dessert not to be warmed. The great meal was matched by the decor and ambience. Pretty brick walls, decorative chandeliers, and a huge welcoming rainbow flag. Maybe that keeps the MAGAs away. That's fine. They can eat at Chick-fil-A. (Joking. Everybody is welcome here.)

5/5 Stars -- Easily one of the absolute best dining experiences in Kentucky…read more We stumbled upon this gem on Main Street in Corbin, KY today, and it completely blew us away. Located in a beautifully restored 1913 Greyhound bus station, it brings a masterclass in farm-to-table dining with original brick-and-mortar charm. It's authentic, eclectic, and classy without an ounce of pretension--you'll feel just as comfortable rolling in fresh off a lake day as you would celebrating a special occasion. What we ordered (and you need to try): Wagyu Sirloin ($29): We need to talk about this. Served with asparagus and a twice-baked potato for $29, this is easily the single best value dish within a 100-mile radius. Unbelievable quality. Salmon BLT Tacos: Pure perfection, especially after a day on the water. Burrata Cheese & Peach Salad: Absolute fire. Fresh and perfectly balanced. Birria Tacos: Exceptionally rich flavor and executed flawlessly. Blueberry Tiramisu & Limoncello: A shocker of a dessert pairing to end the night--completely knocked it out of the park. The Bar: Drinks are poured with a heavy hand and crafted strong. The open-kitchen concept lets you see the passion this team puts into their craft. Huge thanks to Draven for the warm welcome at the door, and to Laura in the kitchen who pointed us directly toward the must-try dishes and nailed every recommendation. Don't let the reasonable prices fool you--this isn't just "good for Corbin." This is foodie-certified, top-tier dining anywhere in the country. A new absolute favorite. Thank you to the whole team for doing what you do!
