Disappointing Follow-Up Despite a Strong Start…read more I had my sleep study done at this sleep clinic, and unfortunately, my experience after the study has been extremely frustrating. I have called over 20 times in the last three weeks trying to obtain my sleep study results. Their phone system consistently redirects callers to voicemail, and despite leaving multiple messages, I have never received a follow-up call. The lack of responsiveness has made an already stressful medical situation even more difficult. During the sleep study itself, the environment was not ideal. The hallways echoed loudly with footsteps throughout the night--at times it sounded like someone walking in heels galloping down the hallway--which made it hard to sleep and distracted from the purpose of the study. Additionally, the adhesive used irritated my scalp for several days afterward. While that may not be entirely their fault, it's something future patients should be aware of. I want to be fair: booking the appointment was a great experience, and the process leading up to the study went smoothly. However, following up on results has been a painful and unresolved process, and that is a critical part of patient care. At this point, the one thing I would truly appreciate is transparent communication. Even a simple update or realistic timeline would go a long way. Until that improves, I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Honestly? Nobody really likes going in for a sleep study. But, I will say this, it beats the…read morealternative of snoring and having sleep apnea. Years, the last one was in Orange county, California. I was actually excited to see how I had progressed in the last 15 years, and get a new CPAP machine. The place was super easy to find, located in the back of a medical complex, the sleep center of Nevada had plenty of parking, and was very easy to locate. I arrived at 9 :20, filled out my paperwork and got ready for the night. The staff there was excellent, very friendly, ready to answer questions and concerns, and made the experience very enjoyable. The room itself was fairly scarce, it had a dresser, nightstand, TV, and was outfitted with cameras. Get you completely wired up with all the sensors you need, it's time to go to bed. Now I get it. Sleeping somewhere else is never as comfortable as your own home, however, I will say that the mattress is there. We're very cushy and it was a overall comfortable experience. Would I rate this as a five-star hotel? No. Was it the worst hotel I've ever stayed in? No absolutely not. This was completely acceptable, clean and functional. Bottom line? If you're looking for a great place to get a sleep study done, I cannot recommend this more.

BLUF: Frank, I know your business DOES NOT prefer YELP for reviews, however I CANNOT my review…read morethrough, due to GOOGLE's "ALGORITHM". I emailed this review to you and your TEAM, I am also posting here, as some human beings do check this. HOLY SHIT, I cannot believe how AWESOME this place is!!! You actually get your OWN ROOM (I knew this prior to going in) and was shocked to see that the room is set-up like a damn MARRIOTT kind of room. THAT BED! Everything you need to go to sleep (TV, "White Noise" and/or fan, etc). To the BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEINGS: YOU NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED AND GIVEN PRAISE BY WHOMEVER YOUR SUPERVISOR IS OR WHOMEVER IS AT THE TOP OF YOUR "CHAIN OF COMMAND". At Home Sleep Studies is a "well oiled machine". EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT FROM THE BEGINNING TO END. KEARBY: She has a great personality, "bubbly" and humorous. I knew not to bring in anything valuable and she joked "Don't bring in your Rolex". I laughed and said, "I will just bring in my FOLEX (Fake Rolex) that I bought overseas". This was the day of the test and she said, " You will have SUPER "Sleep Technicians" on during my sleep test. The test starts at 9pm (getting hooked up with all the wires) and the "sleep" starts around 10pm or so and finishes at 4am. HENRY!: Was my Sleep Tech and it was meant for us to connect him! Amazing human being and we talked about so many topics like a friend. He was very humorous. He was very thorough and talked me through everything. He asked me to tell him WHATEVER I NEEDED to get a solid sleep in. Don't focus on all the wires or you will miss all the beauty of your sleep tech, the room and accommodations. You will be RECORDED the WHOLE time. I was going to mess with them, as I knew they were "watching me", ha! I stayed the course for a good study to be conducted. Henry, it was a blast getting to know you and we shared so much stuff, you will forget even what is going on! *Henry allowed me to "strip down" as much as he could allow me to (even made an exception), as I like to sleep "FULL COMMANDO". Ha! Hey, it is all about COMFORT. Do NOT TELL ANYONE! ;-D FRANK!: You are a ZEN MASTER at what you do! I knew most of the "medical lingo" of the result details he was talking to me about (due to battling in the healthcare sector for over 17 years). I also LEARNED A LOT of new things too. Beautiful. I was on the phone with him 10/24/23 (Tuesday) for 39 MINUTES, breaking the study down for me. TO FRANK'S SUPERVISOR this is CARE: Please allow Frank ALL THE TIME HE NEEDS, in order to provide the detail patients need and also answer ALL their questions. THIS IS CARE. I would say to you, if I saw you in person, TO NOT "MINIMIZE" (I would really say DISRESPECT) his 25+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. It is all about QUALITY, not QUANTITY. Patients need to feel confident they were in great hands and FRANK is truly an AMAZING HUMAN BEING. I do understand the "downward" pressure to get patients through more quickly, but you lose QUALITY. As a LEADER, you have to push back against, the downward pressure of upper management. Frank is so damn, INTELLIGENT and BACKED with DECADES of experience, that I NEEDED TO "pick his brain". Even though I did not have "Sleep Apnea" (where you actually stop breathing), there were 2 EXTREMELY concerning adverse events. Anything I can do to positively, to take the "edge off my other ailments". HOLISTIC approach. Frank, IMMEDIATELY, put the order in for my treatment, then EMAILED ME the results. Such an easy to understand, detailed review. He even said to call him back if I had any more questions. SUPERB. Dr. C.N Held: Thank you so much for all YOU DO. Kearby sits right next to you and she says you THOROUGHLY look at over 200 pages or so of complex data and somehow make sense of it. Then condense it into a 11 page report of results that are extremely easy to understand. Kearby mentioned other similar places just "rubber stamp" the results (they don't dig into the details). *BASIC "HOLISTIC" LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLE: DON'T EXPECT, WHAT YOU DON'T INSPECT. YOU CAN'T ASSUME. Check in on things that may help take an edge off your ailments. I was shocked to see that I had ZERO REM and ZERO DEEP sleep (there are "stages") and I was not getting ANY "restorative sleep", the ENTIRE TIME. Also, my Oxygen Saturation, during sleep, went BELOW the minimum, accepted level of 90% and for a long time = can damage the brain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "At Home Sleep Studies". What a beautiful surprise. 5+ STARS for this place and the amazing human beings! MAHALO! Ben

I have to preface this by saying that I have never had a sleep study in my life before this month…read more I had 2 such appointments at the Sleep Telemedicine Services building on Jones Blvd and W Reno Ave. (+) Felt very clean. Beds, sheets were pretty comfortable. I'm guessing 40" TV on the wall with cable if you like to nod off with some background noise. (+) For both of my appointments, Kat was the technician. She was simply outstanding! She was incredibly friendly, patient and understanding. I greatly appreciate her help and assistance. (-) the only real gripe I have with this whole thing is the fact that I had to push a button to call Kat into the room to unhook all my wires and gadgets just to go to the bathroom. This was quite uncomfortable and I hated having to do it. Other than that, Kat made every effort to make the whole process as comfortable as possible. If I need to do another sleep test in the future, I would not hesitate to return here. 4 solid stars. Yay! I'm a fan.

My former dr moved his practice there one night, literally, and then retired from medicine without…read moreany notice to his patients a few months later.....without even having his pts printed medical records in the new office yet. I found out 3 days before my routine visit to refill meds, that would be most uncomfortable if i had run out. The experience with Dr. Lance Marie, a very limited general reactionary, but with an ego to make up for his deficiency's. He doesn't listen to his patients, wlong, my former triple Board certified physcian wife told me was the most important thing to do for a provider, nor did he review my Hx and chart before seeing me, after taking on my retired doctors patients. I was very upset at his manner, rudeness and lack of any interpersonal skills....speaking down to me and not listening as I tried to give him my history. Thusly, I called the clinic and asked to speak to the office mgr, which I was informed not a person. I was told theyd give my detailed msg to the owner, a doctor A., whom would call me back. He never did. However, I was called by a friend there that I was being dropped by the practice, my follow-up appt was cancelled and I'd be receiving a letter. This was 5 days before my routine appt, again for the usual refills, after i jumped to see 4 speacialists per his demand, an ER visit after my 1st visit for a routine condition I have that he wouldn't listen to my eplanation of, and 2 lab draws....when, if hed have listened, really didnt require the 2nd as historically, i have low sodium and had been hospitalized for it for 3 days the year prior.....those hospital records were in my file. I tried to explain this to him over the phone, and my sever needle phobia (I faint, vaso-vagal syncope for a real named fear of needles, its documented in my records.) It's been 2 months, I have not received the letter, with the preparer 3 referrals who accept my insurance, and he has refused to refill my meds. Like Dr, Kaplan, my doctor of 4 years, who left me in their hands, they have abandoned me. I am ready to file in both Federal and State Court for Medical Fraud and other charges, including the patient abandonement, but, as a lawyer who took his SJD dissertation on Medico-Legal Case Prosecution, and Nevada being so friendly to doctors with very low Malpractice awards, Med Fraud not only removes those limits, but isnt covered by either their medical malpractice insurance nor any business insurance they have in place. That means, they will have to pay, out of their own funds the retainer to hire lawyers to defend these suits. I never settle, though, i do negotiate in good faith, as judges like that, but these people should not be practicing and need there disclipnary action at least. There is only one good person there, the one who gave me the warning of what was coming. That party is the only one that wont be sued, and Ive already awarded them for doing the right thing. I cant wait to file this week, and get the divinely sittings going and prepare for my specialty, depositions as the way the merger of Dr. Kaplans practice and Alpine abstention of those patients is very suspect, and the discovery process will shed light on that. I expect to file superceding complaints shortly after each aspect of the process. Worst of all, as while fine doctors are available in Vegas, they are a bit hard to find, and I ultimately, had to go to the ER for a simple medication refill. I purposely went to the hospital they have privileges at, so that when I was lectured that the ER was not the place to go for refills, I could file a formal report about how their own doctors abandoned me and I had no choice. Hey Lance, and Dr. A, you know what they say about Karma! I look forward to seeing you both in deposition....i love depositions, i was legend in depositions in law school; sp much so, my fellow students complained and we switched to using the drama school grad students to act as the deposed parties as well as witness during moot court sessions, as I was brutal in examining witnesses under oath. A lawyer must advocate zealosy for their client, and I do. I dont like sitting in Court where the lawyers from opposing sides are friends, and chit-chatting about family, hobbies, etc. I always wanted my attorneys to go in and win, not make friends, but, be respectful of the judge, Court staff and jury...the counter-party, NO MERCY....and THAT is EXACTLY how I PROSECUTE MY CASES....and I dont practice as a lawyer anymore. Yove been forewarned, go elsewhere, avoid the headache. There are lots of great doctors nearby, albeit, even Sunrise Hospital has become a ghetto hospital with abusive security and guard dogs walked Stough pre-op areas (yep, happens minutes before I had a simple cardiac procedure)....and this was after going through a screening process that makes TSA look like fun. I gave up on SUnrise after that. Stay healthy everyone, avoid Alpine and Sunrise.
