Ok, so I think this place is getting a bad wrap. I'm a very picky client when it comes to this. I have super high standards and went into the shop very weary bc of the bad reviews I read on Yelp! but in a pinch you go where you can so I kept an open mind to experience it for myself. Let me just say that the personnel's customer service was on point (*background I've worked over a decade in customer service management). They were professional and my bud tender was both knowledgeable and a doll to talk to (*shout out to Diana). Then came the product. I've been smoking longer than I'd like to admit and I became suuuper picky. I'm originally from Los Angeles where it's been legal for a minute. The product there was fantastic so I got used to really good stuff. I was extremely pleased with my purchase at Nirvana and Diana showed me the list with all percentages, strains and prices. There have been multiple times where I put in a pick up order and when i go to pick it up they have no record of it on their side. The last time this ended up happening instead of what they usually do which is just go grab what I ordered from the back and hand it to me, he told me I would need to go to the back of the walk-in line (which had 35 people in it on this day) and start all over and just do a walk in order instead when it was literally your guys' systems fault. and when i said this all he said was "u must have put in the wrong store" hello???? this is the only nirvana in this town and this is the 12th time this has happened to me. fix ur shit!!! read more

Honestly it's fine? Bud selection is pretty crap (very little classic strains, everything is a weird hybrid) and is often dry (can't really blame the dispo itself though, that's probably more on the growers than anything). Budtenders are very friendly and helpful, but they can only do so much with less than 20 strains. I went into Nirvana today for my first experience purchasing medical marijuana in Arizona. Throughout the entire experience my budtender was short with me, dismissive of my questions, and unhelpful. I have been in dispensaries in Washington state and Colorado, and expected a similar atmosphere with friendly, welcoming people. Instead I was met with a budtender who was fuming throughout the entire experience and seemed to resent answering my questions. At one point after a long silence spent staring at the computer screen without explaining where we were in the process, I began to walk to another display to look at products, and he muttered audibly under his breath "you can't just walk away". If there were any rules to the process of purchasing at a medical dispensary, such as remaining with your budtender for the entire experience, they were not explained to me. I have worked in the service industry before and understand it can be difficult to deal with clueless customers, especially if something in the employee's personal life is weighing on their mind. I made a point of asking my budtender if he was having a rough morning, but my question was blown off and completely ignored as if I had never asked. I was really disappointed that this had to be my first experience purchasing marijuana in Arizona. Instead of leaving the shop feeling cared for and excited to try out my new products, I left with a bitter taste in my mouth, feeling slighted and disrespected. read more

This location will steal your money on "free gifts" and just hope you don't notice. Then if they do offer you a refund you can only use it on their crappy brand, that you refused to pay for at all (hence the refund.) The staff is so untrained and uneducated, they couldn't possibly help you make an informed decision on your medical needs. But they are "just service workers" so they can't be held responsible for the errors they make. The mangers and GM are in the same boat as their workers. If you prefer to not get stolen from or taken advantage of, avoid this place at ALL cost. read more

I started going to this dispensary about 6 years ago, first thing they did was to violate HIPAA but we got that straightened out, a few years later after new management they started shorting me, like 1/ weighed out at 4g and it never was then violated HIPAA by discussing it with a security guard at their Phoenix location who told me "we have nothing to do with that store" so why did he know all about my complaint? so I quit going, now that they are recreational I thought I would try it again, went in with a list based on their deals posted on leafly, https://www.leafly.com/dispensary-info/yavapai-herbal-services-inc/deals and was told by Devynn R. that the deals were only for medical patents even though the leafly page says it is for both medical and recreational which cost me $45.00 as well as being my last trip there... ever! read more

On May 31 a Monday the holiday weekend I went into Nirvana Center and ordered some pre-rolls Jeeters and some vapen cartridges. I was told by the tinder that I qualified for a pre-free roll and a cartridge clean concentrate. When I reach my home over 40 miles away I noticed I was charged for the product that was supposed to be free. I called the dispensary and spoke with the manager and explained what happened and she said she would speak to the tinder to make sure it didn't happen moving forward and that for me she could give me store credit or come back for a refund that day. I live in chino so that was not possible that day and I agree to the store credit even though the product was originally supposed to be free and I wanted a refund. This is where I made the mistake. The manager never disclosed that the store credit was only for Nirvana product. When I went in today Saturday, June 4 I was told that I had to buy product that belong to Nirvana. This makes no sense to me because I never wanted your product to start with and it makes no sense to be forced to use store credit on something I don't want when your employee is the one who made the mistake. I never intended to buy the pre-roll or the cartridge so I feel like I should just be refunded and be able to use my money as I see fit given that it was your employee who made the mistake. The product was originally supposed to be free since it was offered. The manager today was pretty incompetent and the tenders and GM as well were horrible. They didn't seem to understand why I feel robbed. Money was taken from me without my permission and I'm being forced to use it on stuff I don't want. It was not my mistake to fix. You are supposed to be a reputable company and the service I received today was abysmal. I want a refund on the product from 5/30 that was supposed to be free. I don't want store credit. I live 45 minutes away which I told the manger with dark hair. She did not explain the store credit until today when I was confused on using it. I feel like you guys ripped me off and I want my money back. This is really poor customer service. Your employee made a mistake and you passed it off to the consumer which is insane and inappropriate. Why would I pay twice for free product I never asked for but was offered? This location used to be great as far as having a great selection of product. It seems like now that they have started wholesaling their products, the shelves are ALWAYS empty! Wish I could give this place a better review, but my experiences there mostly have been sub-par. (I once left without buying because the bud tender was an ignorant, rude jerk.) The system they use to get people in is not working very well. You sit in one group of chairs in the shade, and it's really cold right now. Then they move six of you to a line in the sun; the rec people get green cards. (??) Then they move you into the lobby. You have to pay attention to the TV screen menu there, because there isn't one in the back (what???). Meanwhile, customers with on-line orders are let in ahead of you--two or three while I sat there. I did see a flower menu in the back this time, but last time was told they don't have them in the back. You get to the back and wait again until someone calls you. I haven't found the bud tenders to be particularly knowledgeable, although the man who waited on me was nice and helpful. Apparently, a lot of employees called in sick--not good at the first of the month since they don't have a back-up plan. It looks to me like the management is not particularly good at running a retail operation. And the security is scary--every person has to be body-scanned front and back by an officer who is wearing a bullet-proof vest and gun. Wow--this place must be dangerous to have that vibe going on. Don't think I'll go back. The Prescott dispensary has its act together, including a separate desk for online orders. A lot of the staff has been there for a while, so they're more knowledgeable and the whole place works better, without the scary police vibe. read more

Not use to placing orders on the phone or online but thought I'd give it a shot. Called before actually placing the order and don't know if I got to the center in prescott valley or a different location but the lady I spoke with said it would take a simple 5 - 10 minutes to get my order placed and ready to pick up. Which would have been perfect since I was around 15 minutes away. After browsing their inventory online I called back to place the order. They were very helpful and seemed knowledgeable with the few questions I had. Order placed, 25 minutes go by, then I walk on up after arriving. When I got to the front counter the lady sitting behind there asked when I made my order. I told her 20-25 minutes ago. She said it wasn't ready yet so I asked when it might be.. she didn't give me an answer just said it isn't ready and I can go wait outside in line behind everyone so I asked her again politely, when will it be ready, the lady I spoke with told me it should only take around 5 minutes. She walked into the store somewhere and came back saying I can either come back later or wait in line so I told her I would wait. When I got in and my name was called the person who rung me up said my order had been ready and waiting for me for a while now. Anyways, in a nutshell. Everyone was very kind and helpful besides the receptionist or whatever her title is. I know it shouldn't affect me but because of this I didn't give a tip, which I always do for at least the change broken. Also caused me to write this review.. I'm really big on customer service and unfortunately that one person put a bad taste in my mouth for the entire stores overall performance. read more

They don't have a proper call in system so you end up having to call 50+ times just to get ahold of someone. Their parking lot is horrendous. Their waiting room is even worse. They don't have amounts displayed for THC, CBD, CBN, etc which means you don't really know what you're getting. Truly a place that only cares about profits and not improving the customers' experience. I recommend traveling out of town instead. You can easily waste 4 hours of your time with YH.
