He barely looked at or addresses the reason I was there and was mainly concerned about how contagious pink eye was and told me not to touch anything. This practice is ridiculously difficult to work with. First off, they have different locations /…read morephone numbers and the people answering the phones really suck on customer service. I've spent probably 3 HRS going back and forth between them and my primary provider over the past week, just trying to follow up on a referral and set a damn appt. I spoke with "Lupe" who was absolutely NO HELP, and routed me to other departments who also didn't know anything about the referral. This has been going on for a WEEK. Apparently, they never bothered to check the insurance provider website for the approval. I called my primary physician AGAIN, and they finally got things sorted out with these idiots. I haven't even gone in for treatment, and I'm already pissed off. This is really POOR customer service, and it makes me wonder what ELSE can go wrong. If you are thinking about Retina Institute, be prepared for a bad experience.
