Do not waste your time and money. (I have never written a bad yelp review before!) They DID NOT find lice on my son's head, and shortly after, the school nurse did! The owner would not refund but agreed to check him and us again. Lots of back and forth and she made it very difficult to reschedule and then completely ghosted me when I suggested she just refund me or give a partial refund instead, as too much time was passing. $50 for a 5 minute head check that is NOT properly thorough is insane. It specifically says on the website that "All services are guaranteed when the technician is inspecting and treating all members of the household," and they have a "lice-free guarantee" - the owner does NOT stand by those claims. read more

I found lice in my daughters hair. Her hair is super long and almost reaches her knees. By the time I noticed, it was already pretty bad and I had no idea where or how to start. I had never dealt with the issue before, but I knew 1.) Cutting her hair was not an option 2.) I did not want to damage her hair and 3.) I preferred to use as little chemicals as possible. I am so surprised I am the first to review this business. I know I'm not Tara's first client! People need to know this is a real business! I know no one wants to admit they or their children have or had lice (stigma) but chances are if you have kids you will probably deal with this problem sooner or later. After my daughter and I got the dreaded lice I freaked out. We used Nix with no success. I spent hours combing through her hair but who was going to help me?! My husband had no clue what to do. He suggested we call a lice professional. I had no idea they existed. When I first found this business I was desperately hoping it was legit and it is! I called and Tara came out the very next day. She was super discreet and professional. She wasn't grossed out like we were. She said oh it's not that bad and handled it. Whereas it took me 6 hours to go through my daughter's hair, Tara was able to do it in 2. We have thick, waist length hair and really did contemplate just shaving our heads. So glad we didn't. All right, if you're reading this review let me take a guess... Your kid came home with lice, you went to the store and bought the Rid-x insecticide to put on your's child's head. (there are a few lice products but the ingredients are all the same ) You didn't really want to put it on their head(it's basically poison) but you did it anyway. You figured well once won't hurt them and then we will be done with this.... You spent hours combing out your child's hair the whole time frustrated, mad, and pretty sure you're not doing it right, which you probably weren't.... You and your spouse have been arguing for hours about how serious to take it, how many loads of laundry this is going to take, how much sleep you all are gonna lose over this, and discussing how your child got this... The worst part is... you didn't get rid of the lice completely and now you're doing the same thing again 3 to 7 days later.... Now you've done more research and realize that these products don't work well and that you'll likely have to double the dose to make it somewhat effective... (Which doesn't work either)and now you're putting a tremendous amount of insecticide on your child's head... The cycle continues... this time you try the seven home remedies on YouTube to no avail. At least that's what happened in my household... We called Tara and explained our situation, she came to our house that same day, she was punctual, professional, and most importantly was kind and loving with our kids... We bombarded her with about 1 million questions regarding lice which she happily answered... She does not use any pesticides/toxic chemicals. She simply combs out the hair and is able to remove ALL of the lice and (most importantly) the eggs/nits. Yes you can try to do the same thing with your child but I will bet money that you can't do it like she can... She will tell you how to clean your house, what to wash what not to wash and how often.
