You know how you always wonder about a certain thing because it sounds gross but people claim that it's good? This is me with Pork Roll or Taylor Ham, depending on where you're from. I had the good luck to be in Pork Roll land and everyone suggested Nixons. This is a general store with a ton of cool niche items for purchase but at the back of the store you will find a very authentic deli. I, of course ordered the pork roll sandie with yellow mustard (which apparently is a must as I was advised). They weren't wrong! The meat is salty and fatty so the mustard cut the fattiness and saltiness perfectly. I think I'd pass on the cheese next time but that was my only qualm. It is delicious. I tried birch beer for the first time and it was like a creamy root beer, yum. I also got a fresh garlic pickle from a huge barrel and it was the best pickle I've ever had. I ate maybe half and accidentally left it in the car overnight and it went bad. I'm still sad about that. 10/10 highly recommend this place.

This visit was awesome!! We got a chicken cheese steak with onions and mushrooms, a regular cheese steak with bacon, onions and mushrooms. Both were awesome!! I couldn't eat half of it because their was so much meat, which is a good thing!!

We happened to be in the area to hike Apple Pie a Hill and decided to try this place out based on Yelp's recommendations. The shop had a small seating area and a large selection of snacks, drinks and of course sandwiches. The variety of snacks offered was incredible, most of them individually packaged by the shop by weight so the snacks were a bit to pricey. They offered snacks like chocolate covered Swedish fish, toffee covered cashews, and salted Carmel pretzels. They had a large variety of deli sandwiches from chicken salad to Philly cheese steaks. The ordering system was via a touch screen the only downside was that you had no idea what the price was until after you clicked it so we're were constantly deleting things after we saw an extra charge (ex. Gluten free roll extra $2, hot peppers $0.50) it would have been a lot more convenient to know the charge prior to selection.

Ahhh, Murphy's--our super local neighborhood market and one of those places that just feels woven…read moreinto the fabric of the community. Even though it's literally down the block from us, we still tend to do our big grocery hauls at ShopRite. But for everyday essentials? Murphy's is our go-to. Bread, milk, eggs, deli meats, quick staples--we're here all the time. It's the kind of place you pop into without overthinking it because you know exactly what you're getting: quality, freshness, and familiarity. Now let's be honest--it's expensive. Very expensive. But... it's also super fresh, and that's the tradeoff. The produce is honestly amazing, and much of it is locally sourced, which really shows in both the quality and the variety. Everything looks vibrant, well cared for, and thoughtfully stocked. I genuinely wish we could afford to shop here more often because the produce alone is top-tier. One thing that really stands out is how closely connected Murphy's is to the neighborhood. This isn't just a store--it feels like a community hub. They clearly put effort into being part of local life, and that shows in the little extras. For example, they host an Easter egg hunt for Easter, which is such a thoughtful, family-friendly touch. I'm sure they do other community events as well--we just haven't followed closely enough to catch them all, but the intent is very clearly there. They also have an attached liquor store, which is a huge plus. We often come here specifically for items that other liquor stores don't carry, and it's super convenient to be able to grab groceries and specialty beverages in one stop. And I can't talk about Murphy's without mentioning the bakery, because it's phenomenal. We get all of our birthday cakes from here--everything from simple, classic cakes to fully custom designs. They even made a specially designed pumpkin-shaped cake for my daughter's first birthday, and it was both adorable and delicious. That alone earns them major points in our book. One more thing worth noting: when items do go on sale, the prices are actually very good--sometimes shockingly so--making it feel like you've won a small victory when you catch the timing right. Lastly, Murphy's has three locations, which speaks volumes about how well they're run and how much the community supports them. Overall, Murphy's is one of those places you're genuinely happy to have nearby. Yes, it's pricey--but the freshness, quality, local sourcing, community involvement, bakery, and specialty offerings make it absolutely worth it when you need something special (or just really good produce).

The first time we walked in, it definitely caught us a little off guard (you'll understand once you see it), but it didn't take long for this place to completely win us over. Pro tip for first-timers: the front door has a mind of its own. It sticks pretty hard--probably some weird pressure thing--so you've got to pull hard to get in and push hard to get out. Like... commit to it. Once you're inside, though, it's all worth it. The food is consistently delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Truly zero complaints--we've never had a bad meal here. And on top of that, they offer free local delivery, which is always a huge bonus. As you'd expect from a proper deli, the menu is massive--easily dozens and dozens of sandwich options--yet somehow the service is always fast, efficient, and friendly. Even on busy days, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. And yes, even when I only stop in a handful of times a year just to play the lotto, they're still welcoming and upbeat. Overall, this place does an excellent job of giving you real value for your money. It's one of those no-frills, neighborhood spots that just gets it right--good food, fair prices, and reliable service. We're glad to have it nearby and will definitely keep coming back.

They are in the same center as my kickboxing studio so I run in here almost every single time I go to my class to pick up a bottle of water. Checking out is so stressful because it is SO SLOW! I guess this is not a very busy store because I have never seen more than one employee working the register. My luck & unfortunate timing always put me behind someone who is picking up pictures or monopolizing the only cashier with limitless questions about where they keep the toothpaste. Eventually when my turn rolls around the cashier wants to have a 20 minute conversation about the CVS card. I JUST WANT THIS BOTTLE OF WATER!!!!! I am going to be late for kickboxing and they are going to make me do extra burpees! Will I be back? Yes. Will I continue to be annoyed? Yes. Will I ever sign up for a CVS card for my $1.58 bottle of water? No.

It took them over a week to fill all my medications. I'm about to leave CVS. The techs know more of what is going on than the so called pharmacists do. Medication is a serious business which is not to be fuqued with. This store is pathetic. Not one time over 10 years has my medications not been messed up or wrong.
