The building itself is kept immaculately clean and the staff have always been uber friendly and professional. I originally purchased a Living Social (think Groupon) deal over a year ago for laser hair removal. I found out shortly after that I was pregnant and was unable to use the voucher. The laser technician, Jillian, offered for me to return after I had my baby and advised that they would extend the expiry date. Since having my baby 9 months ago, I have come for 2 session, with Jillian, who has been an absolute pleasure. I was definitely a little nervous, to say the least, that I may be treated differently because of my voucher but that has not been the case. They have free parking spaces in the back (so don't pay at a meter on 124th street) and a basket of sandals to slip on when you come through the door. You will walk through the Chiropractic area filled with modern items like stability balls and a trampoline. The decor is gorgeous and quite tranquil! The owner, Dr. Greg Stiles, is a chiropractor and I have run into him several times - and is he is as charming as he is handsome. I have overhead him working with patients and he has an amazingly calm and gentle demeanour. Even Jillian, the laser technician I see, has only had wonderful things to say about working for him. In fact, when I consider chiropractic treatments in the future I will start with Mr. Stiles! I also appreciate that they sell items that are health conscious - nail polishes free of dbp, formaldehyde and toluene. The also carry the Juice Plus line of greens and fruits that is supported by Dr. William Sears (www.askdrsears.com) - MY FAVORITE go to doctor and website for all things natural and parenting! They carry a few of his books here and I also was able to check out one of his DVDs to borrow for free! Upon arrival, I am always offered complimentary tea (and they have quite a selection) or chilled water. They have apples and snacks in their tranquil seating area that also boasts a fireplace. I uploaded a few pics - so check them out! I've also picked up some goodies from their clearance bin for my toddler (nail polish free of all that junk I mentioned above) and some high end make up items for myself. I booked myself and my four bridesmaids in to get our hair done for my wedding day. Christina was very helpful with the booking process and recommending the amount of time we would need to get ready. I had my hair trial about a month and a half before the wedding when I was in town, and I was so impressed with my stylist. My hair was perfect on the first try, and she was able to bring my vision to life while tailoring it to my features. I was a bit nervous on the big day that everything would go smoothly and we would be on time. I had nothing to worry about. We were finished around 20 minutes earlier than Christina estimated. Our stylists were super personable, kind and fun. We decided to get our hair done at the salon, and you get mimosas and snacks, which was a really nice touch. Most importantly, everyone loved their hair!! I was so pleased that everyone loved it. Pictures looked awesome. Thank you Icon for making my hair look so perfect for my wedding day!

There is no reason given, and although I understand things happen and come up, it doesn't reflect well on the business if I can't rely on them to consistently make their appointments. Not to mention their own cancellation policy requires 24 hours in advance. Although I intend to return to get my haircut this time, I'm not sure that I will continue to come back if appointments keep getting moved like this.
