I can't tell you how happy I was with these folks. From Troy (the first guy who came to scope out the job), to Norma (the office manager), to the number of guys who came out to help us, super kudos to all of them. We had a terrible sewer backup issue in our basement where all of the block's nabes' excrements and wipes, etc flooded our entire basement up to 2 inches high in some places. I called them first thing in the morning, and they had Troy come out within 30 minutes, and within 30 more minutes, a whole crew came in their hazmat suits, with a dumpster, ready to clean, demo, and sanitize the place. They also had the nerve of invoicing us a price that was significantly less than a nearby competitor and they gave us a further discount to boot. I would not hire them again. I had a leak repaired that had caused some damage and potential mold. Aaron came out to do an estimate. I liked what he said and he had me sign a consent form on his iPad. *Do not do this. The forms are partially obscured on the iPad, so you are signing forms that are only partially visible. They billed my insurance directly but for a larger area than they remedied and never replaced the affected surface wall for which they billed. They are also masters of showing photos of someone "working" on the area but I had to laugh because when it showed the "completed work areas", they were on the other side from where the damage was. Finally, they wanted to return to pick up their equipment after a few days. I asked if I needed to be there. They said no, so my friend let them in. The woman in charge actually intimidated my friend into signing a form saying they picked up the equipment or they would not leave. The whole crew spoke only in Spanish which my friend didn't understand. The form my friend signed actually said a whole lot more than they implied when my friend called to tell me what was happening. My friend ended up signing a release stating they finished all of the work to my satisfaction which is a lot different than just picking up their equipment to tell their boss. Finally, I emailed Norma to ask when they would finish the job and they said I misunderstood what restoration means and I would be paying out of pocket for anything else and they were done. Overall, they did remediate the mold but the overblown footage of the area treated, the overly inflated bill to my insurance company, the repeated bait and switch/intimidation tactics with the forms, the way they left the walls and wood and finally how they told me to pay even more left me with a less than ideal impression of this company. I would not recommend. Call Roto-Rooter or someone else. Save yourself a lot of grief. read more

Did you know that steel pipes can rust and disintegrate? Ours did, from the kitchen sink drain, and it left a horrendous mess. Dennis and his crew were quick to respond and clean up the water damage. His workers were extremely professional. They treated our home with care. They removed all of the damaged cupboards, counters, and flooring. Dennis was patient with insurance proceedings. He calmly helped me to navigate the complicated jargon filled documents. The cupboards, counter, backsplash, rusted pipe, sink, and flooring were replaced. We are beyond pleased with the work. I asked these guys to come out to do an assessment after some water came in via our window well. They told me $2k minimum. Didn't even check to see if see extent of issue and if we really needed remediation work. When the crew arrived I requested they do some readings with a moisture meter and maybe remove a small panel and see if the was wet. It was dry thankfully. We had another storm before we could fix the issue and had more water come in. I called back to see if they would provide another assessment and was told they either do work or don't and was hung up on! I have no way of knowing extent of issue and they apparently have no interest in finding out. They just want to rip everything out for a huge bill regardless of whether it is needed or not. So I cannot say enough about these guys. I came home from work to 6 inches of water throughout my basement man cave due to a leaking water heater. I panicked and called my home insurance and they recommended these guys. I called Dennis the owner and he had a clean up crew to my house within 2 hours. I live in a 2 family house & upstairs had a leak so my house got the damage. Dennis & his gang found & fixed the damage, which was knocking down walls & replacing vanities, sinks & lights. Calls were always returned & he worked with the insurance company. Caveat is, even after a year, having a leak myself Dennis came back & that was repaired! We weren't looking to get our basement redone but since an old sewage pipe decided to discharge into our finished basement it became imperative. After getting the pipe fixed we called our insurance agency and they hooked us up with NJ Water & Mold and Dennis was at our house a day or two later. Dennis was easy to work with and his crews were prompt, hiccups came on our end due to some unseen complications but Dennis rescheduled us with no problem. He worked directly with the insurance company to get the best work and supplies for our job. Whenever we had a question about something in our basement whether his company or the other we were working with was in charge of that part, Dennis was more than happy to provide an answer or point us in the right direction. Dennis & the team were amazing. I would also give them 10 stars! I woke up to a flooded basement after my water heater malfunctioned. His team, which was recommended by a good friend, came over within a few hours. They took care of everything, including working with the insurance agent for a quick turnaround. The process was so much less painful than I would have imagined. The basement walls, rugs, floors were a mess. They took all the pictures, and set up all the machines to salvage what they could and build everything back up again after it all dried. My basement looks great after all the work was completed. Winter of this year, our pipes burst due to the dip in temperature and unfortunately it happened when we were en route back from our vacation. My kitchen was badly damaged after a bathroom drain pipe in the above ceiling failed. The ceiling was saturated with sewer water and collapsed. I found NJ water and mold by way of their many positive online reviews. They responded very quickly, and did not cut corners. The kitchen was only five years old when the damage occurred, Dennis and his team completely sealed off and cleaned the area, thoroughly removed any damaged materials, and replaced whatever needed to be replaced. They worked with my home owners insurance and with a separate contractor as needed for the restoration, which was completed perfectly. I only needed to pay for the plumbing repair and my insurance deductible. They were very professional and considerate. Let me just start with saying Dennis is amazing. I had contacted him before the closing of our house because we did a mold inspection and we found lots of mold spores in the basement and not sure if there was a leak.
