So I talked to NIna Who at first I thought seem pretty cool she asked me to send her via email the pictures of the damage the driver caused to my RV. It has been over a week and a half Since it happened and my RV is still completely Immobilized. I've tried patching the radiator 4 or five times but those plastic radiators really aren't made to be patched just get new ones. But that is not on me to do it is on nk Towing and the driver who completely wrecked the front end of my motorhome. I've called every day now and it seems That nobody is planning on getting back to me. She told me I need to talk to a guy named Wally but every time I try to ask for Wally I'm told that he is on a truck driving right now and he'll get the message to call me back. That was three days ago. I Have a feeling that they're going to try to just see if this gets let go and if I'm actually going to take legal action which I will if you guys are not going to do the right thing and legal thing and fix what you guys damaged. It took 8 hours and 3 tow trucks to get my vehicle towed to a shop the other day. I felt unsafe and threatened by the second agent NK towing sent to my residence. Right off the bat he was demeaning, aggravated, and was shaking his fingers at me while talking down at me as if I was being scolded. I had to, for the first time ever in my life, ask him to leave my property. I did not feel safe, nor taken care of at all. This 8 hour day of back and forth with NK, AAA and just waiting around cost me over $100 in rental car fees and lost customers at my small. business that I own. A couple days later I had to have a second tow from the first shop to a second shop and requested my tow be covered due to the experience I had just had a couple of days prior. I was DENIED by the female representative that called me from NK. They did not provide one single solution, they didn't offer anything that they could do for me, only what they would not do. They didn't even apologize for sending someone to my house who was disrespectful and made me feel unsafe. When you call AAA make sure you ask which tow company they're sending. read more

My boyfriends car was broken down in a parking lot we used my tripple A to get it towed and they sent us a driver from NK towing and that's where the nightmare began, they had us waiting for a an hour which is fine I'm sure their busy upon arrival the driver tells us he won't be able to tow the car due to multiple factors saying he'd need a dolly of some type and the truck he was in didn't have one, we tell him the car will be impounded if not towed and he says he's gonna send someone else who will be able to tow it okay that's fine we wait and the exact same style tow truck arrives with a different driver he then tells us the exact same thing.. we call his boss and tell him hey we don't have the keys but we still need it towed and they tell us they are unable to do it... the man I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude.. the next day I go back to the same parking lot trying to get this thing towed and again triple a puts us through to NK towing and the exact same man answers the phone and tells us "thought you lost your keys" and starts making snarky remarks and then says "I'm gonna hand this back to triple A" triple A finally sends us a tow driver from Cross roads towing and he's able to hook our car up and tow it on the very first try.. AAA linked me with this company to get me off the side of the 5 Freeway... Stuck on the side of the Highway. NK towing has had my request for an hour and a half (eta was 45 minutes) I've personally been talking with the towing company dispatcher and they're telling me he's almost here and he's heading southbound, problem is the driver is apparently south bound of my current location, so how does that make sense? It's been a NIGHTMARE trying to get help from NK towing, called triple A(AAA) and had them cancel and contact another towing company. Avoid this company at all costs. read more

Some jerk stole the catalytic converter out of my Prius and I had to get it towed to get it replaced. It was a wholly unpleasant situation made slightly better by the professionals at NK Towing. The driver was friendly, empathetic, and handled my Prius with care. I might be out a stimulus check thanks to thieves, but at least the tow truck driver was kind. Tow driver Michael started out nice, but his professionalism quickly waned. After taking us to a first location whose lot was full, he then directed us to a junkyard company and when I told him the address the person on the phone from the company had given us, he told us this was incorrect and he knew where the correct one was. He towed us to the junkyard, which informed us although they were the same company we needed to go to the actual address the representative provided. Thankfully, the other location was not far from the initial one. However, despite the junkyard informing us that we needed to provide the title and registration information before we could bring the car into the junkyard, Michael insisted he had to leave the car and illegally unhooked it at the junkyard and left. He claims his supervisor told him he had to leave. If this is the case then the entire entity of NK Towing does not care about providing quality customer service to their clientele. I will not utilize this towing company EVER AGAIN and highly encourage you to look elsewhere. Regardless of being AAA approved, they need to reevaluate who they accredit. Thanks to Martha, a 26-year-old Latino tech who helped diagnose my car's electrical system. As it turns out, I did not need a new battery after all. Still, Martha explained the type of battery I need (which AAA does not typically carry) and gave me information on which car repair shops in Oceanside-Vista DO carry and install that battery. As a plus, she even showed me how to check my oil level and what type of oil to use in my 2016 Kia Optima. It's great to see a young lady pursue a career in auto repair. Martha said that she is training her two young daughters to help her with basic car-repair maintenance. I'm thrilled to see more females in this traditionally male-dominated field! read more

The driver was rude to my 84 year old mother...so I stepped in. She was trying to ask a question and the tow truck guy was frustrated because I guess he had ansered the question previously and didn't want to answer it again. I told him he didn't need to be rude and then it all went downhill from there!! He said he wouldn't put the truck in the direction she needed it in the driveway and acres as I'd it was way to difficult. So I ended up rolling it out the driveway as he was I guess pulling away and refusing service. Then he jumped out of his truck and started laughing at me. Not a good thing to do when someone is frustrated. I thought I was helping and he thought it was a good time to me fun of me and laugh... So I told him I refuse service and to go away a.d called him a rude name(that I will admit because he deserved it for putting me a sy m through that) he laughed some more and drove off. Ran out of gas on the side of the freeway just south of San Clemente, and AAA inexplicably assigned me to NT Towing in Oceanside. 40 minutes later, a truck from NT Towing arrives WITH NO FUEL!!! Not only that, the driver just sits in his car instead of coming to tell me, and when I call the dispatcher to find out what's happening she yells and me and hangs up on me. Turns out the guy not only came without fuel, his truck broke down! So I have to wait another 40 minute for another driver to come with fuel. I called AAA for a tow at 3:10pm from work. My boyfriend was with the vehicle at the site, and he is on my account. I was on my way there when NK Towing called me and asked me to send a picture of my drivers license, to which I did. David from NK towing showed up and didn't respond to my boyfriend when he was politely addressing him, and ended up saying he needed a different truck. He left without saying anything and did not return. I was waiting for another truck/ driver so I call NK Towing and speak to Nina who has the idea in her head that I am not on the scene. She told AAA this, among other awful things about me, and further declined my calls. NK towing would not service me, because they couldn't complete the job but they made it seem to AAA that I was not on the scene (untrue) and because of their pettiness, I waited for ***8 HOURS*** broken down on the side of the road, partially blocking a driveway to a storage place which resulted in the police showing up because of people calling since I was sitting out there for an INSANE amount of time. AAA kept re-assigning me NK Towing and apparently the system doesn't realize they won't service me. I ended up being forced to use private towing service 8 hours later...What a terrible experience! Had NK Towing just come back like the initial driver said he would, and not made up lies to AAA dispatch about me not being on the scene, I wouldn't have gone through this. This is the 100% honest truth and I do also blame AAA for giving me the runaround for hours and hours and taking the side of the tow truck company instead of getting me the roadside service which is their duty to do. Yeah, this guy totally tried to scam me. I have roadside assistance through my car insurance provider. They dispatched him. He claimed that we would have to pay $75. Then said it would take 3 hours. And then gave us 2 more numbers to call instead of him. Called our provider back and they canceled the contract, only to have him call us again to try more scamming. Really sketchy. read more

Your driver completely crippled my RV While I was on my way to the hospital for jaundice/liver failure and covid Symptoms. He put a hole through the radiator and dragged it across the freeway By the steering rack rendering the Rv completely Unable to Be driven. That was back on 8 April it is now the day after Easter Sunday and I have tried calling multiple times only to get the same excuse that the person that I need to speak with about the matter is not in that they will call me back I've called Maybe five times now and no one has gotten back to me and I still have not been able to get to the hospital cause I'm still stranded on the side of the road is this acceptable for you guys read more

BEWARE! Just wanted to take a moment and share my personal thoughts about this company as a whole. Short story, my son, a young Marine on Camp Pendleton made a stupid mistake. He had his car break down and let it sit out of the way on the side of the road too long and the PMO had it towed. Two weeks earlier the car broke down and we had it towed for $78. He couldn't afford to fix it but elected to drive it again and it broke down for good. The PMO call NK Towing to pick up the car. It stayed on their lot one night and a good portion of the next day. NK Towing charged my young Marine $800 for towing the car 10 miles and keeping it overnight. This is obviously a blatant case of taking advantage of someone as I have checked numerous towing companies in the area and the going rate is about $250. I have attempted three times to reach the owner but he either refuses to take my call or doesn't return my call. His greed and obvious non-caring and unethical attitude towards our military heroes has led to this post as well as a formal complaint to Camp Pendleton police and a formal complaint with the better business bureau. My intent is to try to get the word out about their attitude towards our veterans in the hopes that they will never be allowed to take advantage of a young kid, mother, grandmother, or daughter again. If you care about those less fortunate and our veterans, please avoid giving the any of your business and share this observation with everyone you know. read more

The NK Technician #127373 ( I'm embarassed I can't remember his name) came about 45 minutes before AAA said he would. He was very helpful, courteous and friendly. He determined my battery was the problem. He replaced it and got me on my way. I recommend this technician very highly.
