The driver was rude to my 84 year old mother...so I stepped in. She was trying to ask a question and the tow truck guy was frustrated because I guess he had ansered the question previously and didn't want to answer it again. I told him he didn't need to be rude and then it all went downhill from there!! He said he wouldn't put the truck in the direction she needed it in the driveway and acres as I'd it was way to difficult. So I ended up rolling it out the driveway as he was I guess pulling away and refusing service. Then he jumped out of his truck and started laughing at me. Not a good thing to do when someone is frustrated. I thought I was helping and he thought it was a good time to me fun of me and laugh... So I told him I refuse service and to go away a.d called him a rude name(that I will admit because he deserved it for putting me a sy m through that) he laughed some more and drove off. I don't usually looset temper but he pushed me too far!! As soon as I figure out the name of the guy that came out I will add that too. Shame on me for loosing my temper but shame on this towing company for hiring someone that would be rude to an 84 YEAR OLD WOMAN and her daughter as we were already having a tough day in need of a row truck. Had to have NK come out again as my car decided to die on me. Called AAA and they told me the driver should be there in 30 mins however they got there in 14 mins. I was so nervous because it was so late and the area I was in was unsafe. The gentleman that picked my car up was super sweet and actually didn't want to take my tip $$ and wanted that I just get home. He had a daughter my age and said that she was harrassed by a tow driver from another towing company that was also AAA certified. I was surprised. Thank you NK for having impeccable service and a driver like the ones at NK who genuinely care about the peope they tow. People who write these negative bogus reviews below are just pissed because (a) they got towed because they weren't allowed to park at certain spots and decided to be ignorant of the law and rules of that community or public ordinances and/or (b) are mad because their car gave out and hate to have to wait for a tow truck driver to make it through the same traffic we all drive but yet have to complain because they weren't there at the moment their car broke down. I took my RV for gas, 1/4 Mile from home my RV engine shut itself off. I have been with Auto club for 42 years and have lots of good experiences with them. This time they took 6 hours to locate a towing service. When my RV died I was able to get it to about 6 feet of the right side curb but I was still in the traffic lane. As it got dark I was afraid that on Cumming traffic would not see my vehicle. Finally auto club contacted NK towing. Even though they were well over an hour away, Rod from NK towing made the long drive and within minutes of his arrival he towed my RV out of the traffic lane. I tried to find a repair shop to have him tow my RV to but due to many factors the 12 repair shops I contacted had no room for my vehicle I asked and NK towing not only delivered my RV to my home but they towed it thru a very small fenced in area that I always parked it. Rob was very professional and took care of my problem I have never responded to any business on this site before. I just felt a real need to thank NK towing. Had to call out a towing company due to the accident that occurred on the 5 freeway. NK was dispatched to me and let me first off start with how great the lady over the phone was with me. She assured me I was going to be okay and that the tow truck driver was on his way as we were talking on the phone. Literally two minutes after I had called and reported this accident. The driver, Will, was amazing. He literally brought me a water bottle and crackers as I was on my way back home and had been in traffic for a couple hours. That San Diego traffic is no joke! We had a great conversation and being a young woman I was not terrified as I was initially. I never had driven with a tow truck driver and you know the stereotypes really were flowing throughout my mind. And it definitely was a different experience than I had expected. Had to have a tow truck come out due to the faulty mechanic job on my car. I have to say coming from Los Angeles to San Diego was already a trek but to have the tow truck driver take me and my car back home with safety in mind was beyond exceptional. Thank you NK for having such professional and mannered employees. Seriously I hate tow truck company's but they seem so legit and to see how they effectively carried out their service was something I was definitely not expecting. The dispatcher was very sweet, I think her name was Nina. She was great. Very careful and sweet. She really seemed worried for where I was parked on the freeway. After getting a flat, we pulled off the 5 and called AAA. They informed us that a driver would be there in 30 mins. To our surprise, he called right away and was at our location in 15. Our driver was Richard Baxter, and not only did he get there rather quick but helped us out with a key for our splined lugs, and got us back on the road in 5 mins. He was incredibly nice, and a good conversationalist. If you ever have an issue and need any help Richard is the man, he is kind and will make a crappy situation feel better by the end of it. Amazing service. I was stuck on the freeway for hours it felt like and from the minute I called NK to the minute I was safe in my home, it was an amazing and safe experience. I have had experience with other tow truck companies and lets just say, what NK did for me was something out of a fantasy. They gave me water, the driver had snacks for my young daughter and I and last but not least, he even helped me get my mattress into my home from my car. That to me is exceptional service. Scumbags, thieves, felons and thugs. Threaten to beat up my 16-year-old and refused to allow him a drop fee on property. Towed his car with a parking pass in it!?! When I went to pay his tow fee the office manager would not allow the tow Fee to be paid via credit card as is required in California... It was sad to see my little Toyota Corolla that I've had since I was 15 years old get smashed up in half in an accident but I am grateful for the help NK Towing provided me. I had my car towed the other night by Alex and he was fantastic!! I have a 1960 Austin Healey 3000 and he was extremely careful in putting my car on the ramp of the truck.
