The spa is clean, modern and very well cared for. What is most impressive is the organization of the nail polish colours. It wasn't the typical chaos of reds and pinks. Each bottle was placed in numerical order along the wall, which kept everything neat. My pedicure lasted well into my vacation and the esthetician even sprayed and wrapped my nails up with plastic for extra protection. Went in with super chapped hands and untrimmed nails from a whole month of traveling and neglect; came out with soft hands, neat trims, and shiny happy new nail colors. The nail trimming / cuticle shaping / hand care / etc are done with so much attention to detail and her polish application skills are top-notch :) I'm a perfectionist and you can imagine how happy I get when my nail colors always come out smooth and pretty. When I arrived I was directed to the spa which is on the 9th floor. It was beautiful and clean. I then went to the change room where I was provided with a comfy robe and slippers and shown to the lounge where I would wait for my RMT. I booked a 1 hour aromatherapy massage ($230) and the coconut hair & scalp treatment and moisture melt foot treatment add ons ($25 each). However, there was a small scheduling issue and they offered me the add ons COMPLIMENTARY! That was so nice of them. My RMT, Istvan, was very attentive and he made me feel relaxed. The only facility that was open was the pool which I did not use. Everything else was closed due to covid. I think I will try the reviving foot therapy next. And yes, the 2 other women that were there were chatting up a storm, so not your relaxing, spa type environment. The staff, though, were very kind and helpful. I'd say if you have time and the same amount of money, head an hour east to Thermea spa, which is well worth the time and money!

I booked a 30 minute therapeutic massage at 12:45 pm with female RMT Chris, which cost about $130 total. They told me to come about 1 hour before check in to enjoy the complimentary water pools. I would strongly recommend going before 12 or 1 pm om weekdays cause it gets more crowded and loud afterwards. I dont think weekends are advisable due to all the other reviews I read. When I went, only 8-10 women were in the spa and that was enough for me. If you have never been like me, they can give you a little 2 minute tour. Once you are inside the spa area, on the right side you will see a locker room to change and put your things away (they give you a locker key), a vanity room to get ready (hair dryer, hair brush, q-tips, cotton pads, hair ties are provided), and a washroom. Their are also slippers you can use (see inside cabinets) and you will get a face towel, body towel and robe. They have 3 pools (cold, warm and hot), a sauna and steam room. Be sure to do a quick body rinse before going in. You can do their suggested water circuit. I did one full circuit but then went to steam room again. I then took shower in preparation of my massage. If you want to continue water circuit after beauty service you will have to wash off any oils and creams used before going back in again. For my massage, they take you into a private room in another quiet zone area. Chris was pretty good, I wanted to focus on my shoulders and neck. Maybe lower back if there was time. I found she was going to light and asked her for deeper pressure which really worked out the knots. She didnt have time to properly do my lower back tho which was fine cause I only did 30 mins. So if you need something similar, I recommend 45 or 1 hour massage appointment so she can do full body. Note for improvement, I did notice they have filtered water fountians but I think they could have done cucumber or lemon water as a nicer touch. They do have a juice bar though, I tried their Vitamin D smoothie which was popular there. Overall, I wouldn't mind returning if I wanted to treat myself but it's very similar to the Korean jimjilbang (sauna) in the sense that its very communal like. A bit higher end but not as much variety as some Korean saunas. If you rather save money and are more focused on pools then I suggest Korean sauna. If you want a massage like me and water pools is a nice extra then this could be a good spot.

I chose not to call back at that time as quite honestly I was really annoyed. My first appointment they were half hour late and my second appointment no one showed up at all! I felt the "oh sorry" voicemail was inadequate. I never received a follow up call from the spa. I would have expected them to make a greater effort to follow up with a customer that they simply never showed for to honor a scheduled appointment. I called today (March 26) to rebook. A bit of time has passed and I thought that I would return as they are very conveniently located to my home and after all I paid $159 and only received 1 of the treatments (30 minutes late but at least they showed up that time!). I was advised that my package had expired! I explained that I had not used the package due to them not showing up for my appointment, I advised that the fact that I was quite annoyed following my October 27 appointment where I left standing on the sidewalk for an hour. I suggested that they should honor the package due to their bad service practices. The man became incredibly argumentative with me, took no responsibility for their poor service and said no. This place has incredibly unprofessional business practices. I had found them as a result of a Groupon purchase so I guess they figured that I had paid the money already so they had no investment in resolving the issue. I would certainly NOT recommend them. Then, she had to fill out her forms, which should have been provided when we arrived early (or perhaps online beforehand is a good idea!). She's also filled out these forms before so health questions should be on file already. This cut into her massage time and she did not receive the full 50 minutes. As well, her verbal instructions were not entirely regarded by the masseur (when asking for less leg work, the request was ignored).
