Tricia was the first person I called when we brought home Renfrow our Cane Corso puppy at 9 weeks old. She had previously trained our Pitty's as well as our big goofy Bandogge ! She was kind of, compassionate, caring and firm. Under her guidance Renfrow "And I" learned how to walk respectfully on a leash, all of his basic commands and later down the road how to properly use an E-Collar. She genuinely cares about our pup's & is excellent at thinking outside of the box when it comes to training difficult dogs. She made me feel like there was always a will and a way especially when I was treated VERY POORLY by Alert K9 before finding Tricia!! Thank you!

I'd like to give a huge kudos to Tricia and her dog training services. We had our first session today and she provided FAR more value than what we expected. We have an 8 month old German shepherd mix and he's been a handful! Particularly with being overly possessive of his toys along with jumping and biting when excited. Immediately upon her arriving, the dog responded to her very respectfully. Tricia gave us all of the tools that we needed to get our dog on the right track. We learned how to deal with his extreme possessiveness, jumping, how to get him to wait at door entrances and street corners and to heel while walking. I'm so glad we chose her and want to encourage everyone to consider her if you're looking for a world class dog trainer. Thanks again for all your help!

Upon entry, the dogs did get really excited to see huge screens of dogs...if you have dogs that react to seeing pets on TV - you know what I mean. The staff's demeanor is calm and encouraging. They brought our bigger dog (50lbs) into the area with similar sized pets..and the smaller dog (25lbs) went into that size group. Dogs are grouped together by size - which totally makes sense for safety. The "introduction" is done in about 30mins time...1 new camper..and a more "veteran" camper. The dogs were aware of each other in the space..but there was no forced meeting...they were able to sniff out each other's presence at a safe distance. 2 staff members are there, watching the body language of each dog. Very well done! Then..another dog is added, usually a female if both dogs introduced first are male. Same process...walk around...sniff the space at a non-confrontational distance. Then.,.more dogs are brought in....and the whole time, nervous Dog Mom and Dad are glued to the screens observing from the lobby. Haha..it's like watching your kid on a game show. There are "camp counselors" that encouraged dogs to "mingle"..and if they don't..they aren't forced. One of my dogs was looking for us the entire time. The other mingled and walked around and "sniffed" other dogs. We left them there for 3 hours..and watched them from home! The staff is constantly cleaning up and moving around...the dogs are able to socialize and "greet" other dogs. Definitely a place we will see again soon..just to get them used to the environment should we ever need to bring them to day care or overnight. Oh! They also take them to a "sleep suite" to see how they handle being solo. My dogs would sleep in the same space, but during the day they'd be separated. We like this because it will allow the younger dog to build confidence. I feel like our dogs would be safe here! It's a temperature controlled area with staff who genuinely look after the dogs and care about them. I'm very pleased with this space and how everything is presented! No..it's not an obedience school/training facility for pre-law enforcement K9s. There is no agility training course to bring your dog to genius SAT score level. It's a safe place that will see to your dog's needs during those times you can't be there. And really..that's all any loving pet parent wants. If we can't take them to the wedding...reunion...vacation..then we want them somewhere safe and somewhere that allows me to view them remotely while we are away. This gives us peace of mind.

We noticed this frequently on the live cameras and brought it to the staff's attention, asking that they be aware of it and help prevent it during her longer stay. Unfortunately, we continued to observe the behavior. When we picked her up, she had lost weight, had a runny nose, and her behavior around other dogs had changed significantly. Before boarding, she was much more comfortable around other dogs, but afterward she became reactive and barked at them regularly. We understand that boarding can be stressful for some dogs and that dog-to-dog interactions are not always predictable. However, we were disappointed that our concerns about the repeated mounting behavior did not appear to be adequately addressed. Based on our experience, we have decided to use an in-home pet sitter for future vacations. We hope this feedback helps the facility improve supervision and ensure that dogs who are repeatedly targeted by other dogs receive more intervention and support.

When Bubba was recently diagnosed with diabetes, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. Dr. Pinon took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me treatment options, including insulin or medication, so I could make the best decision for Bubba. I truly appreciate the care Bubba has received and feel lucky to have Dr. Pinon helping us through this journey.

They "only" charged $3400 for the cleanings, and failed to ask us if we are OK for them to remove all teeth from what used to be one of our dog's cute overbite. We also had to pay another $1500 for a follow-up emergency visit because they injured the other dog (and failed to tell us about it). Doctor must have a twisted sense of reality, because they told me the dogs did "fantastic" when I was called after the procedure. Dog 1: Permanent Disfigurement without Consent They extracted all six lower incisors from one of my dogs without a single phone call to discuss the necessity or get my consent. They effectively destroyed his signature look and "overbite" forever. We dropped off our cute dog and picked up a "small beast" with only two visible lower canines, all because they couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone. And I will be requesting the x-rays and get a second opinion in the necessity of the extractions, because the other incident described below shattered my confidence in their competence. Dog 2: Injury and Cover-Up While my other dog was under anesthesia, the staff managed to lacerate both of his ears while trimming his face. Let that sink in: they cut a dog that was chemically immobilized and not moving. Even worse, the doctor called me afterward and emphatically stated both dogs did "fantastic," choosing to deliberately hide the injuries. They didn't mention a word of it during the face-to-face pickup, either. Dog 2: Late night emergency follow-up visit We only discovered the injured ears after getting home. When we called, they downplayed the cuts as "no big deal" and admitted they had used skin glue to fix one cut. They didn't even provide an e-collar. A few hours later, my dog was bleeding profusely--blood was literally pooling on the floor. We had to rush him to an emergency vet where we discovered the cuts were so deep they required actual sutures. Because of this clinic's "minor" mistake, my small dog had to be put under anesthesia twice in less than 12 hours. And we had to foot a $1500 emergency bill, after an incident that traumatized our family.

We continue to use Pawsitive Pets for boarding when my husband and I go out of town for business or vacation. This is a home business, not a huge facility. There are benefits to both large and small daycare facilities. I rotate my Nala between both and that works well for her. The environment Bobbi provides at Pawsitive Pets is similar to what my dog gets at home - a comfy and calm space to relax, quiet time, a yard, walks, cuddles, one on one time with one of her favorite people in the world. And also reinforcement of good home behavior, like don't eat off the kitchen table, don't bark nonstop for hours on end, don't jump on the kitchen counter, don't crap on the carpet, etc. Plus there are a small number of other dogs for Nala to play with. It used to hurt my feelings when Nala would joyously drag me to the door at daycare drop off. Once I'd hand off the leash to Bobbi, my precious baby puppy dog that I love so much would happily walk away and leave me behind without a second look. Back then, I felt that leaving her in good safe hands with Bobbi was worth that sting. It's the same with boarding drop offs now. Despite how many months have passed, Nala still remembers Bobbi, still joyously drags me along for the ride to greet her, still has the same energetic happy wiggle butt. Nala greets her good friend with the same enthusiasm, excitement, and trust as before, but now there is no sting. I leave my precious baby puppy dog feeling very appreciative of Bobbi and knowing my Nala will be happy, safe and cared for while I'm away.

The $60 "consultation" consisted of her talking all about herself including kids, ex boyfriend, politics, her workout regimen etc. All she did with my puppy was essentially put him in a choke hold to see how much he'd tolerate it. Not even kidding. She did NOTHING else with my puppy, she sat in my living room for about an hour talking about herself. Although my expectations for the "consultation" was way higher my stupid a*s still signed up for 2 more actual sessions because I absolutely expected her to go more in depth with puppy training. As soon as she left my home I already regretted buying 2 more sessions. I paid her $185, which covered the consult, 2 sessions and a $5 folder of paperwork about puppy care. Fast forward to the day of the next scheduled session and she's a no show!! I text her 30 mins into the scheduled appointment and she said she apologized and failed to put it on her calendar. I was very patient with her about it, text her it happens etc. However, I still asked her to cancel appointments moving forward and asked for my money back. She gave me $120 back and even had the nerve to keep that $5 for the folder of paper care paperwork. Really!? After completely wasting my time the day of our scheduled appointment ?! She has a $60 fee for "consultations" that consist of NOTHING, it's paying for her time, yet no shows on me and has the gall to keep that $5 because apparently her time is more valuable than her "clients". Sidenote: the other 1 star review is accurate. Complete scam.

Josh is a genuinely kind person with a heart of gold, but based on our experience, I would not…read morerecommend him as a dog trainer. We paid over $6,000 for a one-month board-and-train program for our German Shepherd. One of the first things that concerned us was that he told us he had "his dogs" teaching our dog how to be a dog. We expected that, for the price, our dog would receive consistent, hands-on training from the trainer himself. Because the training took place over the Christmas holidays, it felt like our dog did not receive the level of attention and daily training we had anticipated. We also expected that, at the end of the program, we as the owners would receive several training sessions to learn how to maintain and reinforce the work at home. That never happened. When our dog came home, she was still reactive, continued chewing things as she had before, and overall showed little to no improvement. Josh gave us a spray collar (citronella or a similar scent) and instructed us to use it whenever she barked. I wasn't comfortable using it because it felt like it addressed the symptoms rather than the underlying behavior, so I chose not to use it. He also suggested that she was simply too active and that we should consider rehoming her if we couldn't handle her. That advice turned out to be completely wrong for our dog. Afterward, we worked with a local trainer for three months who focused on daily, balanced, hands-on training for both our dog and us--without spray collars or gimmicks. The transformation was remarkable. Her reactivity is gone, she learned how to behave appropriately, and we realized she wasn't "too active" at all. She was simply a family dog who needed consistent guidance and proper training. Looking back, I feel that the board-and-train program was not worth the money we paid. While Josh was always pleasant and well-intentioned, our experience was that the program did not deliver the training or results we were promised. Don't waste your money. Josh may be a great guy to rescue dogs, but in our experience he does not know how to do reactivity training or work alongside owners to change challenging behaviors.

Eric was also great at explaining the dog's nature and instincts, and why it makes sense to approach training in the way that the Lorenzo program does. My 4 and 7 year old are obsessed with Teddy and are excited to play with him every single day now that he is gentle. Walking him both on and off leash is a pleasure. The crazy dog that seemed to be too much to handle, is simply a joy now. He still has that spunky, goofy, lovable energy. The difference is that now, he has the ability to listen and respect me.
