As a Rochester Native who moved to LeRoy over 10 years ago at the original location, I used to walk to this place and fell in love with there breakfast ,I usually get eggs with cheese ,a couple slices of rye toasted bread and a grilled piece of chicken (cause they don't have turkey links and I haven't eaten pork or beef in 20+years)!!The staff is amazing always accomdating to me plus the coffee is decent,thanks for everything, I'll give them 5 stars plus Spring and Summer the Ice Cream station is the place to be for GREAT ice cream!! read more

I ordered a Bennie omelette with home fries to go. Whomever answer the phone to take my order was very nice. My food was absolutely delicious. I got it to go and hit traffic so I didn't eat it for about 40 minutes and it still was delicious. The only downfall was when I was cashing out my go order. I left a cash tip. She snatched the three dollars very abruptly and walked away. No thank you no, have a nice day. No nothing. Other than that my experience was amazing read more

Nice diner, with a traditional format, which is most enjoyable. People come in for regular lunches with regular friends, the hard working Wait staff all know the customers, the food is fine, service acceptable. They have a separate poutine menu, which are numerous variations on french fries covered in different Delectable sauces, and accoutrements. Everything is reasonably priced. Breakfast served all day. The coffee cups never reach empty. Conversations at the different tables range from solving the problems of the world with remarkable simplicity and wisdom, to family matters, just the kind of place that is relaxing to hang out in. read more

I have never been to this part of New York before. Got a recommendation from a local so decided to try this out. The food was great! I love good poutine but it's hard to find. I went with the LeRoy style. It was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and the fries stayed crispy(image below). This is pure magic. Had a cool diner vibe. The service was great. She was so friendly. We stopped in for brunch as a break from our road trip. Great little diner not too far off I90. Our waitress was friendly. We got omelettes which were good-only odd thing was the cheese was on top instead of inside. Still tasty though. I've never had poutine so opted for "The Quebec" poutine as my fiancé said that's the way to go. Pretty neat to see they have a menu of poutine to keep it interesting. Waited 17mins for the food which seemed long during off-peak hours. read more

I was skeptical about going to this place because of all the recent reviews but we took the chance anyway. Good call, not sure why the bad press. Maybe changed owners, but our experience was everything we could ask for. My bride had the breakfast sandwich, it wasn't greasy like some can be. Good amount of bacon and nicely toasted bread. I had a short stack with 2 over easy eggs right on top. Pancakes were light and fluffy. Perfectly cooked and just the right amount of them. Service was what is expected and prices friendly. Don't hesitate to give this place a try. You might be pleasantly surprised. read more

I went to do selfie challenge on the area. I was so hungry so I decided to stop for lunch. I was with my bf's mom and she actually spotted this place. I got the Reuben. It's average. The sweet potatoes ok. Nothing special with the food nor the place but the waitress was nice. read more

Went here for breakfast when I was home visiting family in town. It's average overall. Very friendly service! Judy was attentive and good about checking in with us. My nieces' order took unusually long to come out (10 mins after others) so that was unfortunate. So the rest of us had started eating because it was hot and we didn't want it to get cold. Great fish sandwich on a Friday, I requested lettuce to be added after it came with nothing. The fish was a good size, crisp on the outside tender and perfectly cooked inside. It sounds wierd but the french fries tasted really potatoesque, they were also crisp and hot. The best was the clam chowder, it was not as thick as I'm accustomed to but there were loads of really good sized clams, the potatoes were just tender and the celery still had a little crunch, it was wonderful. Great little diner. Stopped in with my wife while out for a motorcycle ride. It was just after noon and they were very busy with the Saturday lunch rush. We still were able to get a seat. Staff were great friendly and attentive even when they had the rush going. I had the southern Eggs Benedict and my wife had the chicken sandwich. both were very good no complaints. Wonderful place off the Highway. Everyone that goes here seems to know each other. I got the two-two-two and finished it with ease. The French Toast practically melted in your mouth. Heard great things about there ice cream but didn't get too try it being that the regular food was so great. Overall, great little local place to pop in and get a bite to eat. read more

The only thing that is decent is the breakfast and don't get anything but pancakes or eggs. Any other meal I have had has been awful and unseasoned. Their attempt with eggs Benedict was way too much sauce that tasted like vinegar and lemon. The burgers taste better at McDonald's. The staff is either on crack or has ADD. read more

My family has been here once. Maybe, MAYBE, we will give it another chance. The service was horrible. The place was almost empty, and we got almost no attention, and whenever the server did come over, as soon as she thought we were done talking, she was out of there as quick as humanly possible. Apparently whatever was going on behind the counter was more important than customers. My husband and I were the only ones eating, as my son had just eaten with my mother (at the same place). So my son just ordered water. (Eventually a donut). Our drinks came, three waters. The waitress constantly asked if we were ready to order. This was our first time, so we don't know what they have to eat, so we needed time. When we finally ordered, my husband had ordered soup, which came exactly one minute before his food. And we had no silverware to eat with. And he was given chips instead of fries with his sandwich. When we finally flagged the waitress down, she says "oh, you wanted fries?" (The sandwich comes with fries on the menu). She walked off to get the fries, which took ten minutes, and still hadn't given us the napkins we asked for ten minutes ago. So my husband asked the other waitress at the counter. She dropped off the fries and was off real quick again. Not asking how things were or if we needed anything. My son wanted a donut, so he asked the other waitress standing at the counter. She brought the box over to him at the booth. He was allowed to just put his hands in the box and grab a donut, which I think is just gross. How many people have touched all those donuts? Overall, bad service, fast food, minus those fries, alright prices. Maybe we will go back, but I'm switching tables if I'm in her section :( read more

I love the charm of the place and quality of food. The owner is always with patrons as she demonstrates the contentious nature of caring for their appetites, preferences and suggests what may follow an undecided palate.
