Quick, friendly, cheap, diner food. We got a nice seat next to the window before the rush came in

Cute place...I was in an Air B&B right across the street. Definitely a local hangout! Got a western omelette- nothing special, but nicely prepared. Reasonable prices, nice staff.

Right on the main street of Caledonia, I ventured out here last Sunday, because who doesn't love trying a new breakfast diner? We got there around 10:45, and didn't have to wait for a seat. We were seated right by the front window. Our table was a little wobbly, but that's alright. I ordered the omelette special, which came with toast, included coffee (with the meal!), and home fries or hash browns. The meal in itself was okay. The omelette had a piece of sliced cheese melted overtop, and the home fries weren't done enough, but it was decent, and inexpensive. The coffee was on the weak side. For two meals, the bill was only $16. I think I will go back and try something different on their very large menu. I am always a big fan of eggs benedict, and they have quite a few options on their pancake/french toast section (lots of different filling/topping options). The Cozy Kitchen does sizzler skillets, breakfast sandwiches, and different egg/meat/side combinations. I will be back to sample different parts of the menu in the future.

Cozy Kitchen lives up to its name. Good food, friendly service, and small town value.

You don't go here for health food. It's heavy and high in calories but it's good! Great service and value. Ask for homemade bread.

A Cozy burger yummy!

As the name implies it is very cozy, it feels alot like your grandmother's kitchen everyone is talking and enjoying the food. I have been here 4 times and each time the food is always good and the service is great. I would highly recommend the Cozy burger for any Burger lovers, it has a special sauce that is amazing and comes with two onion rings as well. The hours I would say would be the only con but if you aren't expecting a late night place then you are fine. If your ever going through or near Caledonia definitely check this place out!

Yeah, it was about what I expected. The Cozy burger was basically a well executed generic diner burger although it would have been nice if the bun had not been so soggy that I couldn't pick it up, but I don't see that as a deal breaker by any means. I didn't have access to Yelp at the time to look through pictures because they don't offer free WiFi and the roaming reception that I had was useless, so I appreciated when the waitress let me know that the fries there tend to be on the thick side, and I opted for chips instead. The atmosphere was authentic and relaxing. One reviewer mentioned that the waitresses like to talk to each other a lot, and I'd say that was pretty spot on. At the time I didn't mind because I had time to kill before the library opened across the street, but in other circumstances I can see how other people in more of a hurry could have found it annoying to not be checked on a little more frequently. Luckily I had the exact cash amount that I needed for the bill and tip, but if I had needed change or to use a card I basically would have been held prisoner for quite a while unless I started hounding them.

Nice clean family restaurant. Went for breakfast, plenty of food. You can park in front on the street or around the corner in a parking lot.

Cute restaurant with friendly servers. Cynthia, our server was attentive. I ordered a cup of French onion soup which was delicious and the first time ever my order was accompanied by scissors ( to assist in cutting/ handling the cheese!!!) My entree was the salmon, a large piece that was well prepared and served with my choice of vegetables ( I picked the Brussel sprouts, yummy) and pasta ( vs rice or baked potato). My husband chose the chicken pot pie, which he polished off and said it was quite tasty. Prices were reasonable, see the photos. A good choice whether you like trains or not.

What to get: Any of their incredible homemade ice cream flavours What else: The ice cream is homemade Anything else: Did I mention before, it's homemade? Was looking for a place to get the sh** beaten out of me. Came here. Thought it was called "Bruisers." Ended up with sensational ice cream instead. Here's the thing. A lot of ice cream places around here serve up Perry's. It's a local corporation that fills grocery stores with its signature flavours. It's pretty average, at best, although people in WNY seem to like it. But if you're going to go to an ice cream parlour and actually pay for an ice cream, why should it be the same sh** you get in the grocery store? Cut out the middle woman and get it right from the store, save some money. And yet most parlours in these parts do exactly that: buy Perry's from Wegmans or Tops, then sell it at a massive mark-up. I refuse to give those sorts of parlours more than a 4, and I usually give less. Then every now and again you find a gem. Cruiser's is that gem. Not a lot of people drive through LeRoy, NY these days, since most are on the pay-for-play Thruway I-90. But if you were to come East from Rochester on 490, and instead of entering the I-90, you just keep on going , you will soon be in LeRoy, named after a girl named Jennifer LeRoy, maybe. And here in LeRoy, tucked away and hidden on the main street west of the town, is Cruiser's. And it's the homemade ice cream you dreamed of. Was looking for a place to sit around and be pathetic. Came here. Thought it was called "Losers." Ended up with phenom ice cream instead. Owned by Eddie from Eddie And The Cruisers, and also a manufacturing plant for Cruise Missiles and the Cruise Control feature on cars, not to mention a shrine to the great funny-running 5-foot-4 bastion of Scientology, Tom Cruise, this little parlour is as good as any famous one with 1,000 reviews that you've tried in any of the big Yelp cities. I recommend the coffee mocha, the coffee bean, the bananas foster, and any other flavour they recommend. So, so, so deliciously good. It's a tragedy that it's not more popular and beloved with the kids of the region. A lot of people go to the Perry's places because those people are suckers for brand names and don't understand the concept of homemade and local ice cream. Anyone can sell buckets of Perry's. The woman at Cruiser's was telling me how, because they cost a few cents more than the Perry's places (because they make all their own sh** and don't even make much of a profit on it), people complain about the prices. The prices are dirt cheap! The portions are enormous! And some people just don't get it. Do yourself a favour and get down to Cruiser's and try the ice cream. Thanks. But yeah. Was looking for a place to sleep with someone. Literally. Came here. Not literally. Thought it was called "Snoozers." Ended up with yummmmy ice cream instead.
