I just want to start off by saying that I am pretty disappointed in the staff and owner. We have been bringing him here since August of 2022. I know he was first in the Toy box room and has transitioned to the Gym room now. It seems like he started doing this when he was placed in the bigger room with the bigger dogs. But honestly, I don't know because no one communicated to me that he was doing this. We started to notice it when we picked him up and his feet were wet. Everyone at the front desk just acted like it was no big deal. So fast forward to March of 2023 and I sent an email to you all about why Oakley was being put in "timeout." Well turns out that the digging/playing in the water bowl is still happening and is getting worse. So you all ask about instating your three step process and I give you permission to do so. "We can also instate our three step process, where after the first incident we have them sit at our feet for 30 seconds, then after the second incident we walk them on a slip lead , and if it happens again THEN he would get the crate break." I have watched/recorded the webcams and the three step process is not a thing. All of the canine coaches are just done with my dog and he gets put in the crate immediately. Also, can someone explain to me why some of these canine coaches walk around the room with two metal bowls and bang them together? Or run a metal bowl across the top of the crate? I don't understand that and it doesn't seem like something a lot of dogs would like. So here we are today May 10, 2023 and I get a text message that "Oakley is taking an extended break right now" and "It seems like a game to him and we have used all the corrections & redirections that we are able to in this environment." I was told to call and basically was told that myself and Oakley should look elsewhere. So that is what we will do. I understand the annoyance of him digging/playing in the water bowl, but I don't see any real problem with it. He is a one year old puppy. We did 2 weeks of training at this facility and 8 weeks to prepare for his Canine Good Citizen and Canine Good Citizen Advance test, which he passed. Kit and Alex the trainers are awesome. He is not a bad dog. He just loves water! The bottom line is all of the canine coaches got tired of my dog. He was punished by being put in the crate any where between 10-40 minutes all because he was digging/playing in the water bowl. We were paying to have our dog socialized and he was not. If we wanted him to be in a crate all day, then we would have just kept him at home. It's just a shame that there was a lack of communication and broken promises. I wish the owner would have responded to my email, but here I am posting a Google Review that I am sure he will respond too. I hope you are able to find staff members that truly are dog people and care for them as if they were their own. I attached photos of bowls being banged together and Oakley always in the crate. P.S. His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

I felt MUCH better about leaving my best buddy in Mike's hands than at a big boarding facility where there's SO many dogs, so much potential for accidents, and not personalized to your dog. The value and time options are great for everyone. The boarding is also the best price for the area. I enjoy taking my pup to the playdates that gets them some extra playtime, a special treat, a toy, and a picture to take home. The store is always fully stocked and has the best products that last. For example, the Arcadia Trail Year-Round All-Terrain Dog Booties and the yard leads are quality products. The store is extremely bright and the dogs may be overwhelming for some. We noticed there was a stitch left in so we quickly take him back up there in hopes they would get them all out this time.. Flash forward a few weeks of him "no longer having stitches" and we see there's a few still in there... we're a bit upset that they missed them especially since it's practically healed now & we took him up a 2nd time to get them out. So we call and say they missed a few & she quickly cuts us off and say "this happens sometimes" ... I'm sorry this what? It shouldn't happen at all. Sounds like negligence & bad vet techs trying to work quickly to get more $$$ out of us. Seems like they can only handle small incidents with your animals. I traveled internationally for two weeks and needed a pet sitter to care for my cat. I decided on Hailee because the cost was reasonable. Throughout the duration of my vacation I was routinely told that my cat could not be found. It seemed like little to no effort was made to find or play with my cat, luckily my family was able to visit and play with my cat using minimal effort. She filled up food but did not fill up the water in the two weeks leading me to believe that she was unreliable, however she did show up everyday and was able to bring in packages. I will not be using her services again in the future, I do not feel that I can trust her with my pet.
