This little halal restaurant in Brooklyn is absolutely amazing. The brothers that work behind the counter are very friendly and know how I like my food. Hot and spicy of course. I usually don't have halal Chinese easily accessible in my hometown so whenever I'm in the city I must visit Halal kitchen. The food is really tasty, especially the hot wings. I also like the various beef and chicken dishes. Mashallah the employees are also very humble. Will definitely return next time I'm in the city! This is a definite recommend. read more

Nothing too great. Cheap eats and crucial when you're coming home late(they serve until 12am) but I wouldn't frequent this as a regular. Their food leaves a lot to be desired but it's cooked in minutes and it's fresh, and dirt cheap. However, their fried chicken is great and I always get their fried wings, so I would highly recommend it. It's juicy and flavorful and definitely a nice surprise. read more

Because I, too, like the seedy things in life, even at dinnertime. There's no gussying up the truth, it is seriously seedy -- I was hit up for money by a wall-eyed woman in a dirty wig while I waited for my order -- but the food is good, people. My favorite feature: they'll make chicken with broccoli in "white" sauce, if you ask -- meaning clear, light, broth-based sauce, instead of that brown sweet glop everywhere else uses. This is a really great place to get take out. NOT TO EAT IN. It gets way too crowded in this small restaurant. But some people struggle to find seats and sit and eat as tons of people squeeze their way in and out of the restaurant. Also the crowd the hangs around the restaurant isn't too pleasant. The food is great. The price is even better. But you have to be in the mood for Chinese. So if you want Halal Chinese to go I suggest come here. Halal Meat is served here. Owners are known Muslims Stopped by here for a late lunch. Very good Chinese food. We were able to find some seating inside as other people were leaving as we just walked in. We had the chicken wings (very good), General Tso's chicken (pretty good), Grilled chicken with sesame (good) with fried rice and pineapple pieces for dessert. This small hole-in-the-wall restaurant is great; the food was better than I expected, they give very generous portions, and the staff is very outgoing and friendly. There's extremely limited seating, but if you go there during less busy hours you sound be able to grab a seat. Most people order takeout anyways, which is probably the best route to take. read more

They're really nice here. OMG their food is delicious!!!!!!! LOVE the rice, its already flavored so I didn't need any soy sauce. OMG!!! It was tasty and not greasy at all. The chicken was flavored and it was all chicken! Usually you have pieces of just crust or fat but nope not here. The chicken w/mushrooms was amazing. It came with mixed veggies and it was made with an awesome garlic sauce. So tasty, wished we would've gotten a large instead of a small. I feel like there weren't as many shrimp with the broccoli. Me & my family have been coming here since back in the days. Best place for take out chinese and this spot is well known amongst the muslim community because its halal. Take out chinese in Brooklyn generally seems to be a little iffy and sketchy but i can say never had a problem with the food here and this is the only place i'll eat for simple chinese take out. read more

Best Chinese food in all of NYC. It's located around the Barclays center small place you can't really sit inside and eat because it only has like 4-5 bar chairs. But I promise you even though it's a little pricy it's very clean and worth buying. The food is amazing. read more

I usually frequent this joint a lot for my Halal Chinese cravings. So my last visit here on Mar 20th has compelled me to write a review sharing the great customer service experience I had. I ordered small beef fried rice portion to stay and once I began having my meal, I noticed the box was only rice filled with barely any beef. I showed this to one of the ladies attending at the counter to which she responded nicely by replacing it with large order and generous meat serving. This place is not much to look at -- a hole in the wall I walked passed without entering for probably about a year. That was a mistake. Caveat: the only meat I eat is chicken. So maybe their beef is gross, I have no clue. But the vegetarian options are great, as is the General Tso's, and as far as reliable take-out Chinese food in this neighborhood goes, I don't think you can do better. This is a great spot for solid, fast chinese food. We eat here around once a month; for less than $15, my husband and I get a TON of food that inevitably results in leftover. I like the broccoli and tofu and general tso's chicken. I wish they had brown rice. My husband gets the malaysian friend rice and some beef dish, they taste okay. We only ever get take out so can't comment on the inside; they're pretty fast and organized over the phone in taking orders etc. read more
