We brought it back and the female owner, who speaks very broken English, got upset and blamed me for not speaking clearly placing the order. She proceeded to throw a tantrum yelling in the kitchen. My husband and I left. We decided we didn't want anything from there. We don't want anything from there ever again. I am an American and my English is fine, I speak clearly. Brand new place just opened where Video Update used to be in front of Tractor Supply. Hubby and I ordered Take-out and when I went to pick it up, they were PACKED! The buffet looked good, hot and fresh and the customers looked happy. The decor is sparse but tasteful and the hostess was very friendly despite being bogged down taking phone orders, cashing people out and seating people. They serve standard "Chinese food." BUT, they do use fresh ingredients. Fresh mushrooms, not canned. Our food was piping hot when I got it and after a 5 minute drive home, tasted wonderful! I can't complain about anything here. Beware being scammed for buffet takeout! They will enter a higher price on the scale without warning you, hoping you don't notice! I loved this place. They had some of the tastiest Chinese food in this part of Ohio, but, unfortunately, I cannot support them any more after being twice targeted by the female manager of the establishment. The menu and signs display quite clearly what the buffet takeout charges are for any time frame: $5.50/lb lunch, $6.50/lb dinner - Lunch 11-3, and all day Dinner Sundays. There is 1 restriction listed: No seafood for takeout. The first time I noticed being overcharged and asked about it, I was told it was because I had a takeout box of chicken sticks. I didn't like being overcharged when there was no explicit advertisement "No chicken sticks", but, sure, whatever. The second time though I deliberately avoided any chicken sticks, instead their fried dumplings I got some of instead. Then, the excuse became "Any fried appetizer", yet the buffet was full of them. I asked, sternly yet politely, to be charged the price listed, and she refused, so I told her she could throw out the food instead, including the preordered food that wasn't even from the buffet. Apparently it was more important to stand her ground on scamming a customer of over 2 years out of an extra few bucks, than to be honest and make any money at all. Unfortunately, pissed off and hungry as I was, I didn't think to sit and wait and ensure she threw it out instead of throwing it back into the buffet plates against health code. My sister told me about this place when it first opened. My mom & I tried it out as it was very much closer than the other place we had been going to. We fell in love with this place. We have gone back many, many times since. We are regulars to be honest. It is owned by a couple. The wife, who runs the front of the house, is very friendly. It's not a big place, but it's not tiny either. It has a small collection of food, not like the other place we usually went to that had a bigger buffet, but for us the taste is great. It has everything we usually look for at a Chinese buffet and the food here tastes way better than at the places we have ever been to. I usually very much dislike what some places call peanut butter chicken. Here they have a dish called Thai Chicken. It tastes wonderful! It is my favorite by far. You can taste a little peanut butter in it, but it's not overpowering or in a gloopy sauce over the chicken. Their carb rangoons, dumplings, and won ton soup are also some of my favorite dishes here. They are all wonderful to me! We hope they stay around for a long time. read more

Hmm... the place was so tiny... I'm used to the larger buffets in Streetsboro. Price is alright but for a buffet, it's really quite small. The staff are friendly and the food quality is ok, very much your typical take out so my two stars rating is quite generous. I still would rather grab take out a few blocks over. I used to really like this place. I still really like their peanut chicken, but the quality of their food has really gone downhill over the last few months. Their service has always been terrible, but I could at least count on having some good chicken on a stick, salt and pepper chicken, and the aforementioned mentioned peanut chicken. Unfortunately they have become very poor at replacing their food and insist on leaving cold chicken out until somebody finally steps up and removes it from the buffet in order to get fresh food out. Convenient, quick and delicious for lunch during work! Food was fresh and hot, and tasty. The hostess was helpful, and explained take-out lunch buffet is by the pound. I took a Styrofoam box and got a spring roll, a dumpling, some lo-mein with a little sprinkling of pepper steak and roast pork broccoli, and a few lovely sautéed whole mushrooms.
