We ordered through DoorDash, so this review is based strictly on the food. We ordered the egg drop soup, egg roll, sesame chicken with pork fried rice, edamame, and the Dragon & Phoenix. Overall, the food was pretty enjoyable, but there were a few things that held it back for us. The egg drop soup was very good -- flavorful, comforting, and filling. The sesame chicken tasted good, although the chicken itself was slightly over fried. The egg roll was also extremely fried to the point where it took away from the texture a bit. The Dragon & Phoenix had good flavor, but there was way too much sauce, and I actually had to pour some out to enjoy the dish properly. Overall, it was a decent meal and we did enjoy parts of it, but we're not completely sure if it's somewhere we would order from again. read more

The presentation looked very good, price isn't bad. But the food was largely lacking good taste. It just didn't taste good. Service was good, nice dining room but the food was off. Sushi was warm. Hunan Smelled off, I don't know if it was oil or wok water. But something wasn't right. read more

My family and I came in for dinner this evening, and it was a very pleasant experience. We all sort of shared everything so I got to taste a few different things on the menu, and I enjoyed everything! The flavor was solid, and everything tasted fresh. The crab rangoons were crispy and definitely looked homemade. We also shared the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. It was also crunchy and the sauce had a nice flavor. I personally loved the hot and sour soup, and for my entree I ordered the pepper steak, without onions. The prices are reasonable as well! Some Of the best Asian food around. Their hot meals are fresh, rice is homemade, and the inconsistencies in the veggies lets you know they chop all their own stuff. Haven't had a sushi roll I didn't like yet. Best crab Rangoon you'll find. Give it a try. read more

Ate here for the first time tonight. Loved it! Spacious updated dining room with booths & tables. Hostess was friendly and promptly seated us. Extensive menu of Asian dishes & some sushi options too. The food was freshly prepared. Fresh meat, veggies, rice & noodles. Perfectly seasoned too. The appetizers were hot & arrived at the table quickly. Entree portion sizes are large. Our first time at this restaurant. We have been looking for a Chinese/Asian place in the Akron area that makes their food, doesn't just heat it up from a package or a can. I think we found it! My family all ordered Wonton Soup - the dumplings were hand made and the flavor was fantastic! I had the Phoenix & Dragon meal (which is enough for two people!) - a combo of General Tso's Chicken and Shrimp with Vegetables served with White Rice. Every time I get General Tso's at other restaurants, there isn't enough sauce. This was not a problem tonight! Great flavor and fresh, very good. My daughter had the Pork Lo Mein and it was delicious. Great flavor from the pork and crispy veggies, just what you are looking for! Our server was kind and took our order easily and the food was out in 15-20 minutes. They have refurbished the restaurant and it was very clean and inviting. All in all a great dinner experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had dumplings and crab Rangoon. The pieces were small but numerous and were perfect for the three of us ( adult family). Because the main dishes are very generous, they could be easily shared or take home the extra! Between us, we had the Vegas roll, fried pork rice, General Taos chicken and coconut shrimp. We enjoyed the dishes and the price is very reasonable and service was good. We ate early (5:45 pm) and we left about an hour later, the seats were filling quickly. I just took one star for buying my review with a doughnut. I don't like how terrible sellers on Amazon do that so I apply the same logic here. They are definitely better than the house of hunan location that used exist there. I think my food was little too much like take out but that might just be what I ordered as I did not go for a specialty dish. I also wish the dumpling, wonton, etc have a chicken option. Pork normally gives me a headache after eating it as most pork as additives. I would try them again. read more

Really disappointing. Veg with garlic sauce flavor was overpowered by bitter/undercooked yellow squash, fried rice was flavorless and mushy, hot and sour soup was neither. Both the crab rangoon and sweet and sour chicken were acceptable but not great. I really had high hopes for this place, but I can't really recommend it. read more

We tried Ki Asian today (10/18/24). All three of us had lunch which was $8.95 and included soup and rice. Our choices? Cashew chicken (the chicken was crispy!) moo goo gai pan, typically prepared, and shrimp and vegetables (shrimp SO fresh). Two of us also shared salmon shashimi-salmon was fresh, a generous portion and priced well, $6.00. The restaurant is located in Fairlawn Towne Center and nicely updated from the past owners - very needed in my opinion- better ambiance. I think you should go inside and give it a try, but they do have pick-up service. I think the lunch prices might not be available for takeout-check. The service was courteous and prompt. Not many Chinese restaurants around lately, so let's support it! (Note. Wish they had some mooshoo dishes) read more

The other day I order the chicken lo mein off the lunch menu. Why was it served with rice seem a little redundant to me, in addition to only having three pieces of chicken. Since moving here from Chicago I've yet to find a decent Chinese restaurant in the city. Oh well I'll keep driving to Cleveland's Chinatown. read more

The sushi, service, and atmosphere are all on point. However, some of the entrees are lacking in flavor and quality. The house specials could be a little better in my opinion. I'm not a fan of their General Tso's Chicken and their shrimp has an unpleasant taste. That being said, the portions are generous and the prices are low. Overall, Ki is a quality restaurant, but they are not nearly as good as House of Hunan (the restaurant that used to be at this location). read more
