The inside has 1-2 tables and not welcoming for dine in, so plan on take out/pick up/delivery. It looks a bit drab and dreary. There are no in-person menus available, which made it tricky to know prices while ordering. The food had good, fresh, non-oily taste. I stumbled in around noon, and had the lunch special. She was willing to substitute my egg roll for a wonton soup instead, with no additional charge. I ended up ordering the beef and broccoli lunch special with hot and sour soup (additional fee for this soup with the lunch special). The portion was decent. I asked for steamed white rice, they gave me the pork fried rice. No biggie. I enjoyed my meal. I did find the lunch menu pricy. read more

Frankie's food is so good; fresh, well-made, and delicious. We've gotten to know Frankie's spouse, Jenny, who is very friendly, but, also, very busy. She knows what I want and tells me before I tell her. When I do change an order, she lets me know if she thinks I'll like it. Without question Frankie's Wok is the best take out Chinese food in Northeastern Ohio. Over the past 15 years I've tried 50-60 Chinese restaurants in the NE Ohio area and Frankie's Wok is hands down the best Chinese restaurant. The quality of the food is consistently excellent and prices are extremely affordable. Service is great and the two owners are always present and working to make sure their customers are always satisfied. If Waze was not reliable, I would circle around the plaza like a dog chasing his tail trying to obtain my Genera Tso chicken. Walking into the restaurant was a little... unnerving. While the staff was very friendly, the floors and walls held enough grease to lubricate my wheel bearings. The food itself was above average for take-out Chinese. There was a perfect amount of spice, the chicken was not covered in breading and tasted fresh. My only complaint is the lack of vegetables to compliment my rice. There is a big divide between the environment of the restaurant and the quality of service and product. If Frankie's Wok would thoroughly clean their kitchen and dinning room, this rating would be 4 stars. read more

Franks lunch special is a great deal, fried or white rice with an egg roll for only $7. The food slung from this greasy wok establishment is awfully good, the star rating is strictly based on the build up of years of grease throughout the place, don't look up when picking your food....the ceiling tiles have enough grease inside them to fry a turkey. Frankie's wok was my favorite Chinese restaurant growing up! Located in the center of brecksville I'd walk up to grab lunch and I still swing by when I'm back in town. The owners are friendly and very accommodating! I got sesame chicken with the pork fried rice and the pu pu platter and the bag felt like it was 10lbs! After passing by this place multiple times driving up and down Brecksville Rd., my husband and I finally decided to give it a shot when we had a hankering from some Chinese takeout. So glad we did! The menu has so many options, so I turned to Yelp for guidance on what to order (shout out to all the people who take the time to upload photos, as I rely on these more than I realized). I quickly found my answer - sesame chicken (with broccoli) and yung chow fried rice! The woman who answered the phone (an owner I believe) was so pleasant and efficient. We opted for the quart size option on both. And just like that, we were 15 short minutes away from a delicious takeout feast! My husband picked up the order and snapped some photos for me. It looks like a really nice, welcoming, pleasant place! The bag must have weighed like 10 pounds (not really, but it was HEAVY). The only thing better than the smell was the taste! The sesame chicken was really flavorful with A LOT of sauce. My only complaint here (and it's true most places) is that I felt like there was more of the fried coating than the actual chicken. Not that it didn't taste good (IT DID), but I like my protein. The fried rice was sooo tasty and had a great mix of shrimp, white fish, pork, peas, mushrooms, and onion (there might have been some carrot in there too - I forget). Food here is always good, but it's to the point it's no longer worth the aggravation. It's a lady and her husband. The lady answers the phone, takes your order, consistently tells you a time, and you know they don't start cooking the order until you get there, if you are. lucky. Today i finally had enough. Ordered at 6, she tells me 20 minutes. I get there at 630, along with 10 other folks also waiting for their food. Finally at 10 til seven I ask if she has started making my order. Her answer was no and I told her to cancel. Drove to independence and got some Thai gourmet. Ordered as I left and it was ready 20 minutes later when I arrived. The dining inside is limited, very old family style decor. I would agree and suggest a take out. I would give the food 3 star but the price and their hospitality were great. The 3 entrees were done in 15 minutes for us to pick it up. The menu on yelp is outdated so please check their website for up to date pricing but for Chinese cuisine around the area their price is great! We enjoyed pepper steak and sesame chicken and their egg rolls were tasty but sweet and sour chicken sauce was not tasty it was too watery. I found this place recently while running a random search on Asian food joint near my office apart from my regular one. They serve some of the best lo mein near my office and the portions are huge. Overall, this is a value for money place. Please be aware that they have limited seating available and are good for take away... 9/25/2018: after visiting this place a bunch of times, this one is becoming our local favorite for reasonably priced lunch near our office. We tried a bunch of dishes and have settled for a few that we keep ordering every time. Our regulars include lo meins ( chicken/shrimp), hot and sour soup, curry chicken, mixed vegetables, etc. The lady who manages the counter is really sweet and usually remembers what people order. She also makes sure that the spice level is correct for our taste buds. It is always a pleasure talking to her. Even if you opt for dine in, the service is very quick. We never had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes for the food to come which is awesome given that we usually go there for lunch and they are packed with to go orders. Cheers. read more

I worked in a Chinese restaurant for 5 yrs. It was the best around in Lakewood. Unfortunately they spoiled me with excellent food and now I'm a picky ahole. I was in Brecksville for an appointment and stopped here. The prices are average but the food is not. We got 2 orders of fried dumplings which tasted like they make them from scratch( which is the only way to go). The sauce was a bit sweet for me but good otherwise. We also got mooshu pork. If you've never had it , you should definitely try it. My husband got the happy family extra hot. Yummy! The thing that stuck out most for me was the woman taking care of the guests. She was cheerful and really seemed too care . It's hard to find people that are sincere about hoping you leave satisfied. read more
