My cousin recommended this place once and now I order from there every time I visit Akron, OH. I've had veggie fried rice, veggie lo mein, and sesame tofu. They have also made general tso tofu for me before and that was delicious as well. Highly recommend. read more

We have ordered from imperial wok for years and enjoy it. Today food was terrible! Egg rolls were so greasy i had oil all over my hand when done eating!. Rice in entress was very greasy like it was cooked in too much oil. Broccoli was over cooked and greasy. Do you have a new cook?? The wonton soup was almost tasteless? food is good i've been coming here for awhile, but today i spent almost $88 on food plus a tip and they missed 4 of my egg rolls, i called and asked if i could get money back for what i didn't receive and the owner tried to tell me i only ordered 6 not 10. i asked if i add it up online will it be what i payed and her response was "well no" and after i added it up and tried to call back they blocked my number, its a shame it's only $4 worth of food but if they're going to try to gaslight me and lie to me about how much i ordered i wont be spending my money there and i suggest you don't either i don't like having my money stolen. it's drive through only too so if you have an issue similar and think you can get a different result i doubt it. read more

I approached the drive up window & was given my total, I paid & was a little surprised by the price as one wasn't provided to me when I ordered over the phone & I thought maybe some of the prices went up due to inflation (which is fine). So I proceeded to ask for a menu so that I could see the pricing, one of the female owners or family members proceeds to get snippy. "You ordered 3 things, they are $5" I replied back, Ok I don't care how many things I ordered, Ive ordered 3 things in the past & it wasn't this much, she then continues to get smart & then hands me my actual breakdown recipe which she didn't give me initially when I paid. I refuse to deal with terrible customer service, which I tend to get from these restaurants. These places need to get their act in order when dealing with the public, I refuse to support any business who has bad customer service, That will be my last time buying anything from them, they need to work on actually providing plasticware & learn how to clean their chicken properly before they go getting snippy with their customers. read more

Had $60 food delivery 4/14. Website quite temperamental- 3 tries to complete order. Smallest serving of plain steamed rice I've ever seen- tiny tiny box- and we eat Chinese often. The veggie fried rice also a joke- very small portion and maybe 6-8 pieces of carrot and green peas, MAYBE; seemed just thrown in with plain rice didn't look like any kind of usual fried rice. I actually made extra rice myself to finish out meal. Only reason it got 2 stars is the empress chicken was well fried and pretty good, good sized shrimp with veggies. Yes, is is decently priced at lunch. However, the food itself rises to the plateau of barely edible. The service is nonexistent. And the customer/employee yelling matches--with profanity--truly reduced the already failing ambiance to zero. This Chinese restaurant is a take-out only establishment. I visit this place on occasion when I am in the mood for some Chinese and my partner is in the mood for Subway (which is just next door). So, this place is more of a convenient stop for me than anything else. Their food is unremarkable but not bad. The lady at the counter who takes the orders seldom smiles but is efficient. My order is always accurate and usually ready quickly. Last time, I noticed it wasn't quite the same, but after ordering it yesterday, I won't again. The chicken lo mean was ok, but the chicken was weird and stringy. The egg rolls were tiny, and I don't think there was even any meat in them at all. The dumplings literally tasted like wet noodles. The meat inside was the size of a nickel and tasted like cheap sausage with no spices or anything. As it's the only Chinese takeout food on this side of town, I'm really disappointed that it's gone so far downhill to the point that I can't even bring myself to get eat it anymore. read more
