We hired T&T Lawns Plus to redo our front yard as it was a disaster with drainage issues. We decided to go with a xeriscape and are absolutely thrilled with the results and cannot say enough good things about Terry and his crew. After Terry provided us with an estimate he drew up a plan for us to present to the HOA. The HOA took their sweet time to get back to us with an approval, but during that time Terry followed up with us to let us know about his upcoming schedule openings and to make sure everything was okay with the plans he gave us. In my experience landscaping companies are not great with the administrative side of things, but this was absolutely NOT the case with T&T. The two man crew that showed up to do the work did a fantastic job, and we barely knew they were here. They were polite and respectful of our property and even made sure to alert us when our dog made a run for it. Cannot recommend T&T enough. We collected three landscape plans and estimates for a large project including retaining walls, viewing patio with stairs and a gas fire pit, pavers, sod, irrigation, lighting, drainage, and a driveway expansion. T&T's plan was the most comprehensive and much more reasonably priced than the other two. Tom was the project manager and he is who I worked with throughout the project. He is wonderful to work with. I am very particular with everything. He was very patient and accommodating with my requests. He keeps an open line of communication and checks in regularly. During this big of a project, it was only natural that we ran into a few things that we needed to modify. Tom was always good about communicating these things and working with me to come up with changes that kept me happy. José, Wilson, and Dixon (the main crew working on my project) worked extremely hard for 7 weeks straight! They are all very good at what they do. Also very friendly and courteous. José is very skilled and has a good eye for detail and design. I'll also mention Ray because he does the concrete work for T&T. He is such a great guy to work with too. Knows his stuff and highly competent. Overall, our yard is simply amazing. Our viewing patio (with stairway, fire pit, seating wall, and lighting) is a masterpiece. I had backyard landscaping done in June. It is mostly rocks with a patch of grass. I am mostly pleased with the job. At the first meeting many things were mentioned for my job in the $3,500 range. At the final meeting many things were taken out but the price stayed the same. That was disappointing. I also would have liked some direction as now I have leaves and pine needles In rocks. Spending lots of time picking them up and it will never be perfect. Maybe I should have had more grass and compacted dirt with a little bit of rock. Also I asked for a path to get my lawn mower to the lawn. Let me say pea gravel is like quick sand! It does look a lot better than before and they guys worked hard. When the lowest cost I could get to redo my yard was $10,000 (that's something my husband and I were willing to try and take a shot at ourselves) this amazing company showed up! They were able to squeeze us in due to a cancellation, and we had already ripped out our grass (mostly), they came in and made our yard look amazing! We didn't totally xeriscape, but close. We could not be any more happier with our landscape from T&T Laws Plus. They were super easy to work with. Quick and accurate they came up with a plan for our backyard "vision" and when it came to exectution were able to bring it with such fine attention to details that it was all but perfect. We went with a modern minimalist style backyard landscape, complete with a deck and outdoor firepit as well as miniature Japaneese Zen Garden area. If I could give them a higher rating I would. I contacted them for a quote regarding a re-do of my front yard to xeriscape it. I was pretty vague and only had a general idea honestly. They did such a great job! Complete professionals during the whole process. Bid the job, had a crew out on site the whole time meticulously putting it together from start to finish - hauling and cleaning etc. So impressed!!! Terry checked in multiple times to make sure we liked the direction of the project. They even found a rotting support beam and notified us - then dug it out and replaced it. They said they were interested, and set an appointment for 3/29/23 at 1pm. I made sure I was home by 12:30, and they were a no call/no show. Juan and T&T Lawns Plus have been great for me for several years now. Their prices were reasonable, they always showed up when they said they would (this is surprisingly rare), and they got the job done with a good eye for quality. Unfortunately, they are downsizing their residential service and can no longer work on my home, but if you're a commercial customer, you should give them a call. If their residential service is any indication, you'll be in good hands. They did recommend someone to take over for them (I believe it's someone that used to work for them), but that individual failed to even show up or call after setting up an initial meeting, so I obviously won't be using them. While this in no way reflects on T&T, I would recommend that all of their customers finding themselves in my position go with another company instead. Again, it's too bad that just showing up on time seems to be so difficult for so many. read more

T&T Lawns did an amazing job with our landscaping project, which was not small and took almost four weeks. We are so happy with the quality of their workmanship. Juan came to us with a fair estimate and some optional ideas, one of which was the lighting, which turned out to be one of our favorite things in this project. Tom was very responsive to our questions and planned out our beautiful trees, shrubs and plants which look amazing. Jose, Wilson and Dixon did a fabulous job of executing our plans. They showed up early every day and put in a hard day's work. We are very impressed with the drainage system they installed throughout the yard. We have three channel drains around the pool and several drain vents all around the yard. Everything flows out very nicely. The shed (Tiki Bar) was just basically dropped in our yard, and Jose, Wilson and Dixon had to level it so the pavers lined up perfectly. It was not an easy task. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Tom, Ray and all the crew! They did a great job on the paver patio with a sitting wall behind my house and the paver sidewalk on the side of the house. They were professional and courteous in every aspect of the project. Originally the project was scheduled a month out but Tom and Ray found a few days open to get the project started a month ahead of schedule and completed it in four days! WOW! You won't find many contractors who will go the extra mile and find the time to complete a job well ahead of time. The cost of the project was very reasonable for the amount of time and effort it took! They cleaned up all the mess a previous person, who won't be named, had left and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. Kudos to T&T lawns for a job well done! The representative who did the design and who actually sold us on the company ended up leaving after we signed the contract. That made absolutely no difference! We were sent a new representative, Terry, and everything went on smoothly, efficiently, and our excitement level didn't change. The work started on time...and finished on time. AND what a fantastic job they did. The yard was put in per plan, communication was kept up, all questions were answered, the workers were polite and hard working. Terry even took me to the nursery to pick out some plants to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. These guys went above and beyond!!! We have had such a fantastic experience with this company. From receiving a quote to now, we've had good communication and progress. They worked with our budget and gave us what we asked for - we didn't have to give on much. Similar to other experiences posted here, we only had guidelines of what we would like, but Terry and his guys took care of the rest. Our project lasted several weeks because of the snow - there were spurts where a lot of stuff happened and had to fizzle out - but when they could work, they did. There were days that these guys were working in the mud because of that - we can't say how grateful we were that they took on our yard - it was basically an ugly dirt lot. I had another lawn service for almost 3 years...and there were never any weeds in the lawn. I tried this company for two months...my lawns have weeds in them all over. They are not cleaning their equipment between services of weedy areas at best. At worst...they are purposely running of the equipment in weeds to spread the seeds so they may have their customers buy their $125.00 yard weed spray service. Are they doing this? I don't know. I do know that many weeds in the yard sprouted within a month of their service when almost none did for the previous 3 years with another service. The only thing this company does for their service is to mow and edge the lawn. The other company also trimmed the bushes and used a seedeater on the walkways before blowing them clean. I also had a snotty reply from the unprofessional owner when I told him why I was stopping the service. They charge $30.00 per lawn mow (front and back is only 1,000 sq ft at most). The lawn guy finishes in about 5 minutes. There are far superior services out there...for the same price...and they do much more...and with no harm to the lawn. I will definitely get another. read more
