The crew came out shortly thereafter took down the tree left me all the mulch as well as couple of chunks that I requested and cleaned up the several weeks worth of needles that had been falling from the dead tree. They managed to carefully place the limbs so not one of my irises was destroyed. All for a price that was totally reasonable. With the tree trimming the team managed everything from getting the power shut off to cleaning the detritus. Quality, quick response time, and really nice folks while I mourned my tree.

It took a couple visits to confirm how long it'd take to cut down. The team was professional and the tree was cut down within time frame I was told. It was the best price but I was in touch with Joshua throughout. Also helped woth cutting down a much smaller tree, comparatively, at no extra cost, they included it in the quote/plan. Cost matters as does quality, and i dont regret having them cut down the tree.

The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and showed great care for both safety and detail. I was home the entire time and watched quite a bit of the progress through the windows (not out of worry, but because it was fascinating to watch them work). One of our trees was within five feet of the house, with large limbs hanging directly over the roof, and they were incredibly careful--there was never a moment when our house felt at risk during its removal. The cleanup afterward was excellent, and when my husband and I asked if two trees (a crabapple and a pear) could be shaped and lowered just a bit more, the crew responded with friendly smiles and handled it immediately--no hesitation or attitude. Another Yelp Request-A-Quote success! We had a fairly significant concern with a huge tree…read morethreatening property damage for our neighbor and us as well. I posted a request through the Yelp APP on Saturday afternoon and had a free on-property estimate completed by Lane at Deadwood Forestry before dinner that night! He provided quotes for two different options to address the problem, pruning and balancing the tree, or full removal. I was leaning toward full removal, even though it would cost more. Lane actually provided sound counsel that ultimately convinced us to save the mature tree, allowing the tree a chance to heal, and ultimately costing us less money. I appreciated that his priority was always the health of the tree, along with addressing our concerns for safety for the surrounding properties. We had an estimate in writing by Sunday, and had our service scheduled by Monday. We did get a quote from another company that came back a little cheaper, but ultimately did not seem as organized and professional. The work was completed today. The Deadwood Forestry crew took their time, ensuring the job got done efficiently, but safely. They cleaned up every sign of their work, leaving us with a beautiful stack of firewood, and a lovely, mature tree with a new lease in life! When and if we have more work like this, we will absolutely be calling on them again.

And they didn't need to take out my fence to bring in equipment like the other two wanted. Good old-fashioned tree climbing. While he was here, I asked him for a quote on four other trees. again a reasonable estimate and they got it done the same day. When they were done, they raked and used a blower to clean up all the debris. I'm very pleased and recommend them highly. I also love that they're a certified arborist, licensed and insured.
