Work is good, but unfortunately the pushy sales tactics that never stop regarding memberships are off-putting. Being asked 2-3 times after you've said no (EACH VISIT) is uncomfortable. So if that's not a problem for you, I'd say go ahead. However, knowing that I am paying wild amounts of money for services, just to be harassed about spending more money with them is not an experience I'm interested in continuing. I'll also say that the doctor and the nurses have different approaches. One of the nurses has a light touch with the units of Botox she'll start you off with, and when I saw the doctor at my follow up he seemed disgruntled that so few units were used. read more

Botox left me with a BOTCHED smile! No satisfaction guarantee. I visited this medspa about a year or two ago for Botox treatment on my forehead and masseter muscles. I used a Groupon, though during my consult they upsold me $500+ of units that my face didn't need (given my age and problem areas.) About a week after treatment I noticed that one side of my face was practically paralyzed, leaving me with a crooked smile and a droopy face. I came back the office and met with Dr. Bukov who blamed my anatomy for the result. In retrospect, the nurse who had injected me did not have proper experience and injected into the wrong muscle, though the Dr. wouldn't admit it. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of consideration for patients, as not once did they offer credit to make up for their expensive yet unsatisfactory work. I went to Dr.Bukov not knowing what procedures I wanted to do this time- I just wanted to look less tired, more rejuvenated and natural! I have done 2 rounds of Sculptra and it's a slow game changer- people comment how good I look , like I took a luxury vacation. However, when you are over 40 and the loss of volume has happened, more than one procedure is needed to keep these cheekbones up and mouth corners lifted, lol. Overall vibe: Felt extremely impersonal. Consultant more or less insulted my complexion and suggested I needed a $1500 procedure when I only went in for minimal botox. She was pleasant otherwise and I get that it's her job to try to sell more procedures, but it definitely made me feel kind of uncomfortable when she asked if I had eczema on my face. (I do not.) Injector was quick, and used one needle for 35 units - whatever, not a huge deal. Mostly leaving this review because I've had baby botox twice before with 0 issues. I also have never left my other doc feeling worse about myself, and my appearance. My other doc takes his time, is extremely conservative, and also always offers me ice to apply to the injection sites afterwards to minimize swelling. This injector, (not sure if he was and MD) injected a lot of botox in one region of my forehead which left a big red bump immediately that eventually turned into pretty significant bruise on the right side of my forehead. Not great when I was told I'd have some "small red dots like mosquito bites that will go away in 20 minutes" I had two sales calls to make today with a giant head bruise. lol. "Hello, I would like to express my concerns about an experience that I encountered while using services at your place of business. In February I came in for a cool sculpting consultation and was recommended four sessions for a lower abdominal area. At the time, I was told that we would do the first sessions at the next appointment (2/28/22) and then I would have follow-up appointments afterward to determine the timing of the next sessions (I was told this would occur roughly 3-4 months later). When I went to my last follow-up appointment on 5/25/22, I asked when they would recommend the remaining sessions and I was then told I had used all of my purchased sessions. I'm truly not sure if this was a serious miscommunication, but I can't help but feel concerned about being purposefully led astray. During the treatment, they did two rotations per their suggestion, but did not explain that this appointment would consist of the entire 4 sessions. I was led to believe that the two "sessions" on that day counted for just that, two sessions and that the next appointment would consist of the remaining two. Had I known I was paying almost $3,000 dollars for a one-day cool sculpting treatment I would have politely declined and either went elsewhere or would have done a much more guaranteed outcome with noninvasive liposuction. I have been going to Nob Hill aesthetics for a few years now. I started getting Botox and I have had Kybella and some other treatments. Sonia, Monica and Catherine are all lovely to work with and give top notch care/customer service. The last technician I had, Maddie was also really great to work with. The person who I cannot stand to deal with and who is a very negative presence in the office is Moon. Every time I am talking, she comes and interrupts and gets into whatever business I am doing with whomever is in the office and always puts a negative flavor on whatever is going on. She is always trying to get more money and is like a greedy hungry carnival barker even though the business keeps growing. She acts like it's her own business. Dr B & all staff is so much more kind, compassionate & professional acting. I feel like Moon also puts down other staff and talks down to them, as well as talking down to me. Unfortunately, she always tries to answer the phone and I dread it because I know whatever I tell her is not going to get passed on. She has never delivered a message that I have given her. She tells me people will call me back, but they never do, and when I ask them if she ever gave them a message, she never has. This last visit, I had bought a gift card from Alle for Botox. The office called me a few days ago and tried to book me an appointment because they saw in their system that I had bought the card. I reminded them that I already had an appointment. When I came in for my appointment, the person at the front desk was helping me and everything was going along fine until Moon had to come over and mess with me as usual. This time she was telling me that they cannot accept the gift card unless I actually have a physical gift card in my hand. I told her they wouldn't have called me if they didn't already have it in their system. That was totally bogus because the card is purchased online and it is a digital card and she knows darn well that that is the case or they wouldn't have called me. Then she started saying she hopes they could find it in the system while the person at the computer had already found it. Then Moon told me. "congratulations you get to use your card". I almost told her congratulations you aren't going to have someone going off in the lobby in your office because you are trying to grab more $$$$ as usual. The other thing that sticks in my craw is that I kept having them put Kybella injections in my neck so that I could lose the fat and I lost the fat but the skin never recovered and now I have to have surgery, because I have hanging skin from my neck that can't be resolved any other way. I take personal responsibility for this, since I am the one who asked for it and paid for it without realizing what the results could actually be. However, dealing with Moon just adds insult to injury. I have never had any problem with anyone else in the office and Dr. Bukov is very talented and knowledgeable. That is one of the reasons it has taken me a while to write a review. I have been waiting for her to get her act together, but she just gets worse by the day. I honestly was not thinking I really needed it because my skin is pretty amazing from other procedures plus good skincare and healthy lifestyle, but the after effects from the procedure were amazing and I am receiving constant comments on my youthful and beautiful skin. I have also done CoolTone and Coolsculpting and have had great results. Lastly the NP who gave me filler is an artist and does wonderful work plus listened to me as wanted to look good but not done (over done) especially being a male. I had been seeing Dr. Bukov for a very long time for Botox. In the beginning it was great and I always got compliments on how natural my Botox looked. However, most recently in the last two years I've noticed that my Botox felt like nothing was injected in my face. It felt like they were diluting it with water because my muscles never froze. I wasted a lot of money using their monthly program for supposed Botox discounts. They never draw up the syringe from the vial in front of you, it just gets drawn up in the back and then they bring the syringes to you. My friend also had a very bad experience here in which I feel badly for referring her to go to this place. One of her eyes was droopy from the botox. I also hate that they try to sell you something treatment every time you come in. Please do better Nob Hill Aesthetics! Cutting corners is not going to benefit you. read more

I bought a 3-treatment bundle but it's proving to be impossible to actually get the BBL laser treatments I purchased in advance. At the conclusion of a service I booked an appointment for my next at the counter before I left, only to find out on the day of that appointment that it simply didn't exist. Every time I've called to rebook since, I'm told they'll get back to me later--but they never do. Whether this is disorganization or a scam I do not know but at this point I'm cutting my losses, accepting the financial loss, and looking for an office that won't take my money and then fail to provide the services I purchased. Patients should not be trapped in an endless wild goose chase. Beware, this place will use Dysport instead of Botox and not disclose that upfront. Furthermore, they will pretend you got Botox on your Alle account to make it so you get points towards your future treatments (and use them up to offset the cost to you) all while injecting Dysport and not actually crediting your Aspire account. Dysport didn't work for me and wrinkles were back almost within a month. When I asked why I wasn't being injected with what I asked for, I got attitude from multiple staff members. My last visit I had the pleasure of having the doctor inject me and even asked him and he said "Whoops, guess you weren't getting Botox, I'll make sure you get it this time around." I told him I was upset because it wasn't what I wanted and no one told me this until I asked. He didn't offer to compensate me at all and to be honest it seems like this business does this often. I knew something was up when I wasn't seeing the results I see with Botox. I won't be back to a business that isn't honest and transparent with their customers. Had a horrendous experience here. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place unless you enjoy being MISLEAD and straight up LIED to about the services and products you are receiving here. TLDR: I would be very very wary about going here- if they cut corners on one service, odds are they will do the same in other services. My first couple of appointments went great - I was a Botox newbie and the staff was friendly and professional. I ended up buying the Botox club package where I would pay a few hundred bucks monthly for a ~20% off Botox. I cancelled my subscription after I noticed that although I paid for Botox, dysport was being used. They do similar things but you need 2.5-3x the amount of Dysport to match one unit of Botox and the price is like $4 per unit (Botox is $10-$15 a unit). I switched to a different med spa and noticed that my results lasted far longer - I get masseter Botox to help my teeth grinding problem that causes migraines. Yes, I should've done my research and noticed the first couple of times but I was pretty new to the whole med spa thing and didn't realize my error until I wasted far too much money at this establishment. Nonetheless, this little switchup of products without the customers consent is just plain scummy business practices (note, the nurse comes in each time and says "this is your Botox appointment" so I never thought to pay careful attention). Especially because they are switching out for a lower cost product. Read through other peoples reviews and there are a lot of complaints about Botox appointments "not working" - seems like they apply the same shady business practices to all their customers. read more

I LOVE the team at NHMA, everyone is so kind and friendly, I feel like family. The botox is grade A and no matter who you schedule with as your injector, you won't be disappointed. As an added bonus, not only do they use alle', but they have a membership program that allows for a discount on your units. I've had BBL (broad band laser, not Brazilian butt lift ) combined with the Halo laser and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Halo/Light Laser/Botox. I've used Botox/Dysport many times over the years from quite a few places. NHA is reasonable, fast and efficient. The staff is friendly. Never an issue. Late May/early June I had some botox done.The results weren't great. Eye droop, and over arched brow, totally fixable but you have to wait ten days. I was sold on a halo skin treatment while there. I was not particularly interested in a dermabrasion peel experience as I'm out on our farm most of the summer and having my skin be extra sensitive in blazing heat is a bad combo. I was shown pictures of day 1 and day 3. Really red face to slightly red, didn't seem awful. It seemed doable even though my birthday was at the end of the month. I mentioned this a few times and even called the office. I had the procedure without taking any drugs, it was fine. Face, neck and chest. Post Op burning, really tight and totally crazy looking and EXCESSIVE peeling, so not really anything I could work with for the birthday thing. I had my Dysport touched up, it's better but still needs a slight tweak.My chest had a really awful reaction, again the whole heat thing, burned skin combo-probably a bad idea. So currently on Day 8, finally look less crazy, neck is still a little rough, face is almost passable and chest is still red/raw and irritated looking. So far the new skin looks good. I'm annoyed it wasn't presented as a fairly invasive procedure as far as post op reactions. I would have still had it, just not in the summer or 3 days before my birthday. I'm fairly confident the Dysport will be made perfect the next time I walk in. I will update with the final look after I'm completely healed. 4-5 weeks. read more

I have been coming to Nob Hill since 2020, and have been extremely happy with the services, until now. They recently changed over their billing platform and you needed to update your credit card for your monthly payment. The email received did say to either call or do it on your next visit... which I chose to do. I went in for service, and paid what was owed but also noticed a second charge, which looked like it was the monthly membership fee. I called, because it didn't make sense to pay for the monthly fee as well as the service, the monthly fee should have been three following month. I also never gave permission to use that credit card for the monthly. The front desk person NEVER mentioned anything about the additional fee, only the amount for that days service. I called the next day, and someone was supposed to get back to me, and never did. I called again and spoke with an incredibly patronizing woman named Gabriella. Definitely was lacking in the ' customer service' department, and commented 'well maybe you should have updated your credit card when we emailed'. Um... ok. Maybe read the email which did say you can do it in person too, or if it was that important, call. Needless to say I cancelled my membership. 4 years of my very loyal service, referrals, etc are down the drain. I will not be going back. read more

There are a lot of med spa's in the city. I'm a nurse (I'm an ICU/ palliative care nurse not a aesthetics nurse) and have a pretty good understanding of the procedures and equipment. The staff are so incredibly friendly and kind. I've been to a several medical spas around the world for a little something something and Nobhill has everyone beat, hands down. Dr. Bukov, Moon, Sonja, Monica, Isabella - i forgot some one - professional, patient and honest. They don't do as many specials as some spas because they do quality work. Like cools sculpting, Botox, fillers and a free king size snickers is not a good deal (sorry Karen). I appreciate a staff who will give me honest feedback on what works for me because I want quality. I'm being facetious. I want to look my best and natural. Looking natural, and feeling great is the key. I also appreciate they don't use a call out center. Nob Hill Aesthetics is A+++. I have extremely limited knowledge and experience in the medical spa space but I can't speak more highly of NHA and the staff. I 100% recommend them. Quick background: I came in to learn more about Emface because I had seen a video online about someone who used it to address a specific medical issue (I have a similar issue I've also been trying to find treatment for). The staff: Moon met with me for my consultation and right off the bat she was amazing. She listened to my story and the issues I was trying to address and gave me a GREAT overview of Emface and answered all the questions I had about whether it was worth trying. Moon is an expert and she couldn't have been more compassionate and supportive throughout the process/sessions - I can't recommend Moon enough! I was also treated by Kyla and she's amazing! She's an Emface expert and always made my sessions comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend working with her. Lastly, a shout out to the front desk staff and Dr. Bukov - they're all very friendly and easy to work with. I really appreciated how organized and helpful they are when booking and rescheduling appointments. The treatment: Emface is great and I believe it helped to address the issue I was hoping to treat. For me, the aesthetic component was an added bonus but I can confirm you'll see results if that's what you're looking for. I loved the fact it was non-invasive and painless - it's essentially a deep tissue massage for the face that really can't be replicated through other means. That being said, it's not a one and done procedure: I did 6+ sessions at a cadence of once per week. While I feel a difference after each session, it continues to improve throughout the entire duration and beyond. This isn't an upsell by the staff - you NEED to do at minimum 5-6 sessions to see the results. It's like weight training (for your face) where you need to be consistent especially when you first get started. I believe Emface is still a fairly new treatment so you really need to go to a place with subject matter experts and NHA is that place! read more
