I did a Signature Facial with Cat the first time and loved how we started with a breathing exercise with oils to set the ambiance. This second time was with Naomi. I had the Gua Sha Facial. We started with LED lights for the arms and hands which was a first for me. Both times were so relaxing I fell asleep. Unfortunately for the second time it was during the gua sha (haha) so I don't remember most of that part. My face was glowing both times. I like how they include tip in the price. I knocked off a star because they charge a $10 credit card fee but the cost is too high to be carrying cash for it. I have bought a Gua sha tool from them, specifically to help with pressure points and migraines. I also got an attar balm recommended by my aesthetician to help with my dry patches on my cheek. I recommend coming here to treat yourself!

I've never had any facial or massage that made me so relaxed to the point where I could focus on nothing else, but Naomi changed that!! She did such an incredible job that I just couldn't feel distracted by anything else in my life - not even the thought of what I'd eat for lunch. Her technique and procedure was both relaxing and functional, which is a huge indicator of value for me. When the facial was over, I gasped because of how soft my skin felt (I came in with pretty dry skin)! One of the biggest reasons I booked at Monastery is because they make so many of their own products with very natural ingredients. Although I didn't intend to buy products that day, I ended up leaving with the Lapiz body oil and Rose cleansing oil. I am not a skin care person, but these products might be making me look forward to it more. Also of note: Monastery was incredibly clean and quiet. Minimal and elegant. I am absolutely going to book with Naomi again, and I really hope to bring my mom here sometime soon!!

First off, this review is long overdue because I selfishly want Alisha and her magic all to myself!…read moreI have been seeing Alisha and Dr. Greene since 2018, and they have truly changed my life. I had melasma EVERYWHERE and was spending $400 a month on random products at Sephora, basically throwing money at my face and hoping for the best. Alisha not only got rid of my melasma, but she also taught me how to properly care for my skin and exactly which products I actually need ...turns out the answer was not "one of everything from Sephora." I now get so many compliments on my skin that people don't even believe me when I tell them I'm not wearing makeup. This is NOT your average facial it is a medical grade facial and the ONLY facial that has given me actual results. She is truly the best at what she does. You leave every appointment feeling and looking glamorous. Seeing Alisha every three months is my favorite ritual. Not only is she amazing at her work, she is a genuinely lovely human being who goes out of her way to make you feel great. I always leave her office ready to conquer the world with my sunscreen on, a new glow and freshly tinted lashes. And yes, she will tint those beauties for you so you can deliver the perfect wink to whoever deserves it.

This was honestly the best facial I've ever had. I love a good facial, but I'm usually left feeling…read morelike people are just layering on products or doing things that "feel" fancy without actually improving my skin. Not here. Monica was incredibly professional and clearly knows her stuff -- the whole experience felt much more medical-grade than the trendy "spa" places that focus more on vibes than results. I really appreciated that. I'm someone who gets a little Botox every few months and does laser hair removal, so I always look for real expertise over fluff, and this was exactly that. My skin looked amazing afterward -- clear, hydrated, and glowing. The results honestly felt like a steal for the price. Whenever I'm in SF for work, I'll be rebooking here for sure.

Haley Tsutsui at Skin Spirit has been incredible. I've seen her four times, and my partner has seen…read moreher twice, and we truly can't recommend her enough. She is calm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I'm someone who tends to faint during blood draws or shots, but every time I've gotten Dysport from Haley, she has known exactly how to help prevent that. She has a wonderful bedside manner and does a great job keeping me calm, comfortable, and distracted, so I don't work myself up. She's also very quick, and the treatment is nearly pain-free, which I imagine takes real skill. On top of that, her work looks so natural, which I really appreciate. The clinic itself is very clean, and every staff member I've interacted with has been kind, understanding, and professional. Pricing is on the higher side compared with some other places, but in my experience, you really get what you pay for. They also have a rewards program, which is a nice bonus. Everything about Skin Spirit has gone above and beyond!

I've been a loyal customer here for a few years and have genuinely loved this place, but I'm really…read moredisappointed in the recent changes. Over time they've been quietly chipping away at the value, first lumping Swedish and deep tissue massages into the same price point, effectively raising prices for Swedish clients without adding anything new. Now they've cut massage times across the board while raising prices again. Going from 90 to 80 minutes might not sound like much but you really feel it on the table. 90 minutes was enough time for a thorough full-body massage and now it just feels rushed. And cutting the 60 minute massage down to 50 is almost pointless, that's barely enough time to get through the basics. If they had just raised prices a bit I could have lived with that, but cutting the actual time changes the experience in a way you can't make up for. It feels like the people making these decisions have lost sight of why customers actually come here. You're paying more for less, which feels like a disrespectful move toward customers who have been coming here consistently. The therapists are great, but these business decisions have me reconsidering whether I'll keep coming back
