She started with a detailed dry massage and then went in to the oil massage. The dry massage hit the spot, it was the perfect pressure. When she started with the oil massage I was sold. She hit all the correct pressure points and removed all knots. I have a desk job and I run. The pressure was definitely higher on the oil massage but I've had worse and it felt amazing! She focused on my shoulders and lower back both of which I needed the massage for. I didn't even need to tell her, her experience spotted my problem points. I was able to relax although it was very lightly painful. It wasn't like some of the rough massages I've had in the past. I didn't leave the place in pain but left feeling so relaxed. I go every month for a massage and this was literally the best massage of my life. The only caveat is that I wish she had focused on my legs a bit more. The place is very clean, it has rooms, they play light music but you can hear if someone is talking next door. The people are friendly as well! I will recommend this location, I haven't been to the one in Manhattan but I've read not good reviews of that location. I will be back and would like to try out their other services! They were actually pretty good other than the fact that they did whatever they wanted to do during the 30 minute body and a 30 minute foot messages the end of the experience is what got me. Not only on arrival that I have to pay extra for both me and my girlfriend to have hot stones during our massage, $10 each by the way, they also claim that tip should be no lower than $15. They have a sign that says that and they don't allow people to leave unless you pay higher than $15 in tip for each masseuse. I attempted to pay my masseuse a five dollar tip which realistically I wasn't gonna do anyways but you know out of respect. I'm like I'm gonna give five dollars and he seemed disgusted by my five and refused it. I was utterly appalled and extremely aggravated so I just pulled out a 20 broken down in half and left with a attitude. I feel like they are very unprofessional and money hungry that's my personal opinion though. Everybody else can act as though the end doesn't throw them off, but it threw me. She made the time to talk to me and explain the options and procedures. While other establishments were too rigid with their prices and schedules, Candy gave me a good price and gave a time slot the next day. I was so excited and nervous at the same time. Since this will be my eyebrows for the next couple years! The next day I arrived. Candy welcomed me and made sure that I didn't have to worry. She drew the options for my eyebrows based on the shape of my face. Then gave me some suggestions. I accepted her suggestion and went on with the procedure. She applied numbing cream and waited for it to take effect. So i only felt minimal discomfort during procedure. Throughout the procedure she kept asking if I was ok. I felt I was in good care. I dozed off for a minute. Then I realized it's done! Candy showed me the mirror, making sure I was happy with the results. She explained the care for the next few days. They give you a robe to change into to keep your top dry and cover you in warm blankets. They untangle your hair and give you a dry scalp massage. Then they start wetting your hair with a circular shower head which was very cool. They wash your hair several times and give a scalp massage. They also give a neck massage and shoulder massage. All the products they use smell extremely good and felt great in my hair. At the end of the massage, they dry your hair and leave it somewhat. It would be very cool if they offered a salon service where you could pay an extra fee for them to style your hair so you could leave with very clean hair and styled. I would have also liked if the scalp massage was a little more rough, it was softer than I liked. I would probably try another location for a scalp massage to compare the experiences.

After confirming what I booked my appointment for, which was for a Meridian Facial, I was taken into a room where I changed my top into a towel-like cover up. Just from cleansing my face, I was shown just how much dead skin and dirt came out out my face. I honestly thought I was doing a good job with washing and cleansing my face at home but I guess not! The staff also used a Gua Sha to help increase circulation and drain the lymph nodes on my face, and a lot of time was spent on massaging my face. After, they put a mesh-like gauze on my face and then put a moisturizing facial pack on top of it. I had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes until it solidified enough. Once the staff peeled it off my face, my skin felt super smooth. At the end of the facial, there was also a head/scalp massage. One advice regarding the scalp massage would be to not time it on a day of an important event. Since it distributes the oils on your scalp, you probably know what I'm getting at. The whole experience was positive and relaxing. I did glance at the service menu that they offered and they seem to have a broad range of different things you can try (ie: facials, lymphatic drainage, herbal weight loss treatments, body treatments, and more). My favorite is definitely the micro dermabrasion which feels like all the dirty stuff on my face is sucked away. It used to be $20 when I first came and now it is $25. I've tried the oxygen treatment before but did not like it because I have anxiety and difficulty breathing. The place is kept very clean and I feel very safe with the double doors since the inside one is locked and you have to get buzzed in. They also have a big and clean restroom. The only downside for me is the distance since it is a bit out of the way from my house. I usually have to take two buses to get here and they're located right on the Q58 line! As for the facial, it is kind of a short duration which is good if you're in a rush and you want to know exactly how long it will be - 1 hour 30 min! Included is a nice face and upper shoulder/back massage and eyebrow cleaning. The actual whitehead/blackhead extraction is kept short and sweet although each one is quite painful with the tool. My favorite parts are the micro dermabrasion, micro current, and the cooling mask in the end! They use a new filter for each client for the micro dermabrasion and you can see all the dead skin that gets sucked away. The micro current is a light electrical therapy that's supposed to close the pores and stimulate collagen production and a cooling gel is applied along with it. The cooling mask is a perfect way to end the facial while you get to nap for about 15 minutes. It's been a minute since I came back since I've been away for school and I'm glad I did sooner than later because they will be terminating all package deals by October 15, 2025!
