I got semi-permanent eyebrows on Friday. After comparing so many pictures on so many platforms and with a couple of my friends, I reached out to Evelyn. She is very patient, responsive when communicating, most importantly professional. She looked at my face and drew the eyebrows that I really liked. During the process, it wasn't painful at all, she repetitively makes sure that my eyebrows are even. It was done perfectly from my perspective.

LITERALLY THE BEST FACIAL MASSAGE I'VE EVER HAD!!! So good and makes me wanna cry! It's my very first time doing M22 which is the laser modular system brings together four high-end laser technologies to treat more skin conditions, addressing pigmentation concerns, scarring, uneven skin tone and texture etc. And they were so patient and kind explaining everything that I wanted to know! I've had acne scars for a while and enlarged pores here and there, it really helped and my jawline looks a lot more clear now! Also, the deep cleaning and skincare routine beforehand was incredibly amazing and comfortable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I've been a client at La Peau Day Spa for over 10 years now. I used to visit the Manhattan location but now they moved to Flushing (so much closer to me with free parking too!) Evelyn the owner is always super sweet and treats me like family. I've gotten my facials from Evelyn, Yuki, and Helen at this location. All the ladies give relaxing yet effective facials for my acne prone skin. My go to is Yuki, her massages are strong and extractions are thorough. My favorite facials are the Civasan HY+ Balsam Hydrated Facial and Casmara. They have many lasers, ultrasonic, microcurrent, IPL, LED machines as add ons. Their new spa in Flushing is spotless and trendy with a UV sterilizer for tools in every room. I have gotten semi-permanent makeup done with Evelyn many times in the past and she is really an artist. She genuinely cares about the quality of her work and has offered me a free touch up when other places will not. Give this place a try!

Not a bad place for a basic no frills faciaI. I really wish Yelp had 1/2 stars. They aren't quiet a 4 but are above a 3. I discovered this place through a Groupon. I purchased a 3 pack which was very affordable for the service. Each time a different aesthetician did the facial. I would have rather had the same person versus someone different each time. I'm not sure why but two of the facials they made me pay additional taxes. They offer a lot of other services and seem to always be running different promotions at their two locations.

Everlyn and her team are the best! I've been to Lapeau for 10+ years now and absolutely love everyone there! Everlyn and Wendy are very knowledgeable & professional. They listen to your needs and give knowledgeable feedback and recommendations. I always look forward to going back. I had done facials, injections, and facial fillers... The objective is to create a natural look so you still look like yourself (but improved)! I've also had my brows done there in the past and constantly got compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend Lap-eau to any of my friends & family for any of their services. Thanks for providing consistently great services!! Also, her studio is very clean and comfortable, Love her new location!!!

YES!!!THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPAS! I have been to many spas and this spa is one of my favorites! The service is nice, the people are nice, everything is clean and well organized, I was very impressed. I had my facial done here and it was so refreshing to the point I fell asleep on the bed. I also had my makeup done here by Make Up Rite artists for a photoshoot and I fell in love with my makeup. My makeup artist defined my facial features very well and I had the perfect face afterwards. You can tell that the staff has lots of experience on doing makeup by their hand movements and strokes. The owner, Everlyn is so nice and sweet and she gave my makeup artist tips on enhancing my face so it would shine on stage and in the photoshoot. 10/10 would recommend this place, both for facials and for professional makeup!

Honestly- the most fairly decent Groupon treatment I've experienced yet rating 3.5 stars in overall. The Groupon really was well worth it -$65 for the diamond peel facial, manicure and pedicure! The regular price of $205 is what I call, "you're-outta-your-flipping-mind" spa package. Booking this for myself and my two sisters, was a great bonding day and my fashion girlie came with too. The staff was very accommodating scheduling all four of us together and it worked out that two of us had facials at once while the other two had the mani/pedi going. Cleo for my facial ushered me into a sliding door room with the facial chair all set with a blanket and pillow. "Oh yes! Sleep is involved in the facial!" were what had me content, and the peel was painless with the mini suction cup like wand vacuuming away all the dead skin cells in my face. Not worth the regular $170! Not at all! Wait for a deal here my Yelpers or you'll be Yelping about how you're broke. The mani/pedi were nothing extraordinary - I can honestly get the same treatment in Brooklyn for half the price. Regular price here: $40. Clean, sterile, and only a handful of colors to chose from. If you Groupon your visit like me, the will try to push selling you they're special offer of ten diamond peel facials for $500, but I said a firm "no" and that ended it. It was nice, but surely not THE best I've been to.

The front door explain the entrance fee but when I asked questions about the other services the woman was a little abrupt and rude. I mean whatever I asked she mentioned the fee. I told her I know and I guess she wanted that fee before I realize the massage is really bodywork. I told her it is my first time here. I wanted to leave but stayed because i traveled so far and I wasn't in the mood to find somewhere else. It was my birthday. Anyhow I pay get my uniform go to lockers. I noticed the sign and picture of two thieves and others about lost towel and key fees. Anyway the locker room plays Korean drama and attendants are the ones who sell the other services. I lounged around in the coed area and then tried every steam and sauna for 20 minutes. I walked around in my socks. It was pretty quiet and peaceful . It wasn't full of people either. I go to the front desk to ask if there are slides or slippers. My feet got really hot in the sauna I was wearing socks . One must either be in socks or barefoot. I asked him about the additional services and he said the women in the locker rooms do those. The woman in the locker room are the "masseuse " or "esthetician" in a sense. Before entering the wet room (one removes their spa uniform showers ) before using the jacuzzi steam room and cold plunge. Ok so I decided to get the Korean body scrub and massage. The body scrub was better than the massage. I braced myself each time I was rinsed with water. A basin of water gets thrown on you. The massage included a facial and I appreciate her massaging my stomach where I tend to get fibroids. The facial left my skin glowing . Overall i probably won't go back but i feel encouraged to check out higher end spas and treat myself more. I think these spas are good for sauna unless your gym has one. It was an ok value. You get what you pay for. The skin care is cucumber based.

They provide a bathrobe, a hand towel, and slippers. No outside flip flops allowed. When you are ready to shower, you can ask for larger shower towels. - Large, spacious, and clean facility with Greek-esque blue and white architectural details. We enjoyed the open layout with the different heated pools, the vast array of strong jets, and the hot tubs. All the jet buttons worked, and the jets turned on right away. We loved the large Himalayan Salt sauna, which was also the hottest. Overall it wasn't crowded at all! - My daughter loved the outdoor pool with the overhead waterfall, the indoor pool right by the bar, the playhouses in the relaxation area, and the kids' playroom. - The hydrotherapy pools, cold baths, and steam room in the changing areas/locker rooms were clean and well-maintained. - The Korean food is delicious! The Korean Beef Stew was some of the best we've had in a while. - Kids allowed (all ages accepted!), and my daughter had a blast! Cons: - Some of the rooms, such as the relaxation room at the top, could use an upgrade. - The co-ed outdoor dry sauna needs to be much hotter. Wish they had a co-ed steamroom like at AIRE Ancient Baths. - Some of the shower heads in the sitting shower area were weak and needed fixing. - The foosball table for kids was missing the ball, and needed extras around. - $13 ramen was the 85-cent Paldo Gomtang Korean Beef Flavored Instant Noodle Soup you can get at H-Mart. Note: - Take advantage of the 30% off admission special offers on https://shop.nyspacastle.com/newyork/index.php. $59.50 for adults M-T and $77 for adults F-Sunday. You cannot redeem and use it within 24 hours! "Any earlier attempt to redeem is invalid. If you plan to visit the facility within 24 hours, please make your purchase in-store." Last Wednesday, we visited from around 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (they close at 9:30 PM), so we were mindful not to rush them or their closing shift. Overall, the spa experience itself was good. The facilities were fine, and the food was absolutely chef's kiss as always -- that part never disappoints. I also understand that prices have gone up, and while Spa Castle is now priced similarly to SoJo Spa, I didn't mind paying more since everything else in life has also gone up. However, the experience was completely ruined at the very end. When we were about to leave, we realized there were no hair dryers at all -- not even one. Yes, you read that right: a spa with NO hair dryers. I asked the three ladies at the front desk if there were any hair dryers available, and they told me, "We don't have any. Customers steal them." I was shocked. That is not the customer's responsibility -- it's the spa's responsibility to manage and replace basic amenities. A hair dryer is a basic service at any spa, especially in winter, when it's cold outside and people cannot walk out with wet hair. When we went to check out, a male and a female staff member were at the counter. The man asked how our experience was, and I honestly said everything was fine except for the fact that there were no hair dryers, which was very disappointing. He looked at the female staff member, and she said, "We do have one hair dryer. Did you ask them?" I told her yes -- we asked twice, and three employees told us there were none. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, her tone was rude and dismissive. There was no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge how uncomfortable and unfair that situation was. No spa should send guests out into the cold with wet hair after they paid full price for the experience. Sadly, the lack of basic amenities and the unprofessional attitude at the front desk completely ruined what could have been a great visit. I was very disappointed, especially as someone who has supported Spa Castle for years. At this point, I would rather go to King Spa or SoJo Spa, where customer service and basic spa standards are taken seriously. Very upsetting experience, and sadly, I don't think I'll be returning.

Since this spa allowed me to split 3 facial package with my husband, I agreed to pay the spa directly. My facial was actually somewhat torturous -- the facial massage is just so rough and not at all relaxing or rejuvenating.
