The company has been around since 2005 and offers a wide variety of options that could please anyone. My friends went with the tacos and I'm really glad they did. Two options of tortilla were offered, soft corn and flour. Both were tasty and super soft, but the flour edged out the corn for me. Good things come in pairs and two types of phenomenal cheese sauces were also offered, nacho cheese and a white queso. With all that sauce I still managed to add a little tangy sour cream. Both beef and chicken were offered as fillings. I obviously went with the beef (without going on too much of a tangent my longtime followers know I'm allergic to an antibiotic used in poultry and I didn't want to chance that the chicken meat was from 100% antibiotic free chickens), which was juicy, tender, and flavorful. My tacos were pretty packed, but I also managed to get a small amount of beans in them too. As if the cheese sauces weren't enough, I topped my tacos with a sprinkling of cheese like a true Wisconsinite. Ordered the BBQ jackfruit sliders and Italian tofu sausages for 50 people...so that ended up being one chafing dish worth of food and our total was a little over $400! In truth, it was my fault because she did quote me on it and I should've just walked away at that point, but I didn't..like a fool I said okay. Once I realized how little that actually is, I kind of felt like I got screwed...I mean seriously jackfruit is like $1.50 a can... The Italian sausages were just warmed up in marinara with some peppers and onions, it was good but not great or anything. Just for persepctive, I considered another party I had last year for about 50 people...exactly the same menu, but with actual Italian sausages and beef instead of jackfruit... catered by Bunzel's and it clocked in just around $200! So yeah, I did think this was really on the spendy side. Another thing that kind of irritated me was she didn't come and pick up the chafing dish for like a week.. Leaving it for 1 to 3 days would have been acceptable, but 7 days is not. I didn't want to have a dirty chaffing dish sitting in my back hallway for that long...and yes, it remained dirty because why would I hire a caterer if I wanted to do dishes?? What is the point? Maria was very nice, but just way to expensive for what you actually get. Wasn't impressed and would not recommend for a big event.

Marija worked with us and was so communicative and easy to work with. The Gracious team treated us like we were family. We had our tasting and was blown away at the quality of ingredients and curated menu. They learned about us as a couple and what our likes and dislikes were and made a menu to fit us. At the wedding, our guests gave us many compliments on the food, some saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. (We agree, worth every penny.) I loved how much they cared about us during the process and at the wedding. They were so kind to make us a plate of hors d'oeuvres at our cocktail hour so we can have enjoy our food. That to me, shows how much they care about their clients. They also made sure we got to eat our full dinner without interruption. My other vendors mentioned how kind and helpful they were and really enjoyed working them. Zilli's was super helpful to us in making that final decision. We had a couple of hesitations, but they had us come in for a second tasting which helped answer all of our questions. Elizabeth was always extremely helpful and quick to answer via email. We made menu changes a few times before the event, and this was done without any issue. The service at our wedding was exceptional! There were servers constantly bringing us anything we requested and they were all quick to help clear anything. Our only complaint was that our favorite appetizer was taken off the menu shortly before our event, and the appetizers were a bit underwhelming in general vs. our initial tasting. The buffet food was good - although not quite as hot as we would have liked it to be. The mac and cheese was everyone's favorite! The table linens looked incredible and everyone did a wonderful job setting up the space exactly how we envisioned it to be. All in all, Zilli's is a terrific choice for catering at your event and you will not regret choosing them!

Booked BOTH venues at the Mitchell Park Domes and it was never disclosed to us the ceilings LEAK! I figured that out on our final walk through (in the Show Dome), a month before the actual wedding. Had I known, I would NEVER have booked this venue. During my daughter's wedding ceremony 8/1/26, I was leaked on (dripping on my head) along with my other guests. I was mortified. Her dress was completely ruined during her ceremony walking in the Show Dome because it was raining inside and the path got all muddy (see pics). And the day of the wedding, I entered Greenhouse #7 - to find this going on (see the pics attached). I died a little inside - cried my eyes out before the wedding. Horribly embarrassing that your guests are walking around plastic bins and puddles at your daughter's 80K dollar wedding. Zilli should be ashamed of themselves. Anything that was good (and there were things) literally don't matter because the amount of deception I feel by Zilli AND STAFF ruins everything AND it was completely humiliating to have puddles on the floor while your daughter's wedding reception is going on. They should post these pics on there sites for advertisement. If that was not bad enough - read the contract fine print. 60 days prior to the event, they raised the price of food 6.3% and if you are looking for a feel good, you'll never get it. Their business practices are questionable as well as their "pricing." So much I could go on..... Where in ANY business is this acceptable, especially for the expense of a wedding?!?!?

Something that has never happened here before is I had to go back as they forgot tarter sauce, lemon, coleslaw, butter for the bread and applesauce. By having to go back, my husband ate half of his sandwich, saved half for when I got back and we could somewhat eat together, so I never got a picture of his sandwich. The fish fry was good, but I am thinking it would have been better if I would not have had to go back. Next time I will eat it there. I have one piece of fish left, my bread and soup for tomorrow. It is now consistently bad and VERY sadly, I will not be back. Dumpling soup used to be incredible, now it tastes like new is consistently added to old. Salads were top notch, now they just appear that way on the outside while wilted, rotten lettuce and veggies hide within. The fish sandwich was to-die-for but, is now heavily battered and tasteless on a bun that is always burned. French Dip was also amazing but, again, is now never consistent. So disappointing as this place was once SOOOO GOOD.

Of course feeling the hunger after a few hours ceremony at shul - we all piled over starving masses with intentions to plow thru any nourishment and this is what we found: Hannah's Kitchen had prepared a buffet for the congregation with amplitude of bagels, salad, quiche, mac/cheese, dessert, drink refreshments. But this was not just the ordinary effort, the food was perfectly fresh presented both with color in prime and the appropriate texture / temperature. Just thinking of the disposition with our family unit young children and elderly parents, both could find what had easily satisfied with entrees of favorite perfect Wisconsin cheesy pasta and hearty egg quiche meals. For me my mission was simpler just leave without feeling hungry I had helped myself to most with a secondary helping of most. Bonus afterwards, with some dessert leftovers - they wrapped up a few savory cookies and brownies for anyone who asked. The staff was friendly and attentive - and I even got to meet Hannah who clearly takes great pride in this vibrant operation. In fact it was fun in brief conversation to learn how much attention to detail she had in aspects unrelated to our meal, and it is clear how thoughtful she is and you'd be lucky to find Hannah's Kitchen for your next catered meal.

Candy was our lead from Chef Jack's, and she was incredible, coming out often to check on us and the flow of the room overall. They were incredibly accommodating to any and all allergies and dietary restrictions that we had with our guests, and not a single person was unable to be fed, and for two of my guests who had been to weddings where they were unable to eat, this was important to me. Topped with gouda cheese, sauteed onions and bell peppers, which added more layers of flavor to the already flavor-packed stacker! The meat was incredibly tender! There wasn't a single spot of dry meat anywhere. I opted for a side salad instead of fries, and it was fresh and crisp. I chose Balsamic dressing of the four choices, which also included Ranch, French & Italian. Today, I went back for the Catfish fish fry, served with creamy and flavorful grits and a slice of bread. The breading on the catfish was nicely seasoned and the fish was perfectly cooked! I believe they also offer cod for the Friday fish fry.
