The company has reached out to me to compensate my time and effort. Much better effort!

When one calls an ambulance, it usually takes you to the nearest ER. Unfortunately for my sister,…read moreshe lived closest to NWMed. She had strained her shoulder and back reaching overhead. They admitted her to the ER, then placed her in their Oncology dept. because she was six years post cancer diagnosis with no new cancer. Ten days later, she died from pneumonia and "malnutrition ". Do not take your loved one to this facility. The nurses were good. The attending MD's had zero bedside manner. I was told we had three days to move my sister to hospice or they would remove her!And after two days, while we frantically called every hospice facility on the hospital's recommended list,Dr. Fortuna and their hospice coordinator, Noreen, became rude, borderline aggressive, w/lharassing me about moving to hospice. The last week of my sister's life had little dignity. It was unnecessarily stressful.A minor observation: their bed linens were ripped and disgusting. And no one should encourage a dying woman to get some rest while leaving a bright fluorescent light on her face!

They made an 96 year old man sit in the ER for over Four Hours…read more When they finally had enough and told the receptionist they were leaving , they magically got to see a nurse! Who had been sitting there the entire time! Calling it Poor care quality is being polite. I was there almost two hours and we left because they would not say if it would be 10 minutes or 3 hours. But No one was being seen except the 96 year old who threatened to leave. Went home called an ambulance. They gave meds and IV bag. They took her back to this hole and they set her in the hall . We left. Don't bring a dog to this place! Special shout out to the emergency room receptionist, she certainly wasn't a nurse (no nurse would ignore two people in distress, who are writhing in pain!) . FU. And the nurse who FINALLY GOT OFF HER ASS to help the 96 year old man , hope your parents end up with a similar care giver. How do two sleep at night?

Just had my baby here in December 2025. I was very concerned about how things were going to go…read moreconsidering I had a fairly traumatic first birth years ago at a different hospital, but thankfully this experience was absolutely amazing in every way. I came in for high blood pressure, was offered an induction, took the induction and was able to still follow my birth plan which consisted of wanting to stay unmedicated (no epidural or medication based pain management) and no Pitocin. Nurses were absolutely amazing and so kind. Because I was going unmedicated, they offered me the wireless monitor so I could get up and walk around if I wanted to which was a huge plus. I did NOT want to be stuck to a bed and thankfully I didn't have to be. Labor and delivery went smoothly and I was not at any point pushed to accept any interventions I did not want. In the mother-baby unit (I can't remember what they specifically call it), the only complaint I had was we were not told about the "celebration meal" that you can order for your dinner. Wasn't a huge deal anyway because my husband got us sushi and brought it back. Every person on staff were so sweet and helpful. The billing department has a little left to be desired but apparently its common for issues to arise with certain insurances but I'm not the first and surely will not be the last woman to give birth using VA community care insurance so they should know there should be no patient charges. Literally my only issues have come from billing.

I went here for an emergency appointment after spending 23k at the ER for a kidney infection. They…read moredid a CT scan and found pelvic inflammation so they referred me here- for an appointment the next day. They did swabs and then proceeded to never contact me again. I called multiple times a week asking for results and they called me a MONTH. LATER. and told me they lost my swab. They said I need to come back in and get the test redone. This was literally an emergency appointment that I paid out of pocket for and they did less than nothing--this place is a sad excuse for healthcare. Never go here if you care about yourself. Seriously.
