    Sonoran Hot Dog

Service was fast and they where very attentive. They only have Sonoran hotdogs, chips and sodas. Not the best Sonoran style hotdog I've had but it gets the job done!

If you're in the Phoenix area you should definitely stop at Nogales Hot Dogs to eat a Sonoran hot dog. Delicious and cheap.

I love hot dogs so I know I needed to stop here. Very unassuming, low key parking lot spot with a tent a tables to eat at. I got the hotdog with mushrooms, avocado sauce and cotija cheese and melted cheddar cheese. Not a combination, but for my first Sonoran Hot Dog, pretty good!

Our go-to spot for hot dogs. For some of the toppings like bacon, tomatoes, beans, and onions you ask them to put it on when you order. For the remaining toppings - shredded cheddar, cotija, mushrooms, pickled jalapenos, salsa verde, and avocado salsa, you put these on yourself at their toppings bar. All the toppings are included with the cost. For the toppings bar, you put as much as you like. They also have chips, water, and sodas for sale. Prices are very reasonable and the owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming. There are several tables set up in the tent for you to eat. The tent also has removable walls, so no problem in the rain or windy days.

My first Sonoran hot dog was just...okay. My sister's boyfriend is an Arizona native and when I asked him about any local specialties he mentioned Sonoran hot dogs. Through some Googles and Yelps I found Nogales. My friend and I pulled up around 8PM and the place wasn't too busy. We were able to sit down right away. The guy at the entrance simply asked how many we wanted and then we sat down. The hot dog is indeed wrapped in bacon but I was expecting more. Bacon wrapped around any type of meat is always welcome, but I feel like this was underwhelming. I feel like if the hot dog was fried so that there was a nice satisfying crunch it could be a lot better. The toppings were good and added extra flavors and textures. It was nice that you could add your own cheese and other toppings via a DIY cooler. I didn't hate it, but it definitely could've been better.

Coming out of a late night gathering, I saw this little stand on Yelp. Idk if I wouldn't have found it without it.... But the service was quick and reasonable! It's a quick dining experience and will find yourself ordering a few dogs... they are that amazing. I will come back and will visit their second location.

I'm guessing it's been about 5 years since I've eaten a hot dog, so when Nogales Hot Dogs was our destination for dinner I didn't know what to expect. We were the first to get there when it opened for the night and everyone was so friendly. (Actually, we got there like 20 min. before they opened & I'm not gonna lie... it was SO dark & a little sketch that I almost jumped back in the Uber to take us elsewhere. So happy we didn't do that.) Don't stress about what to order/how to order. (We stressed because we were the only people there.) They ask how many hot dogs you want and if you want them served with everything (yes), then they bring them to you. They have a cooler filled with additional toppings (cheese & jalapeños & salsas). As we were finishing our hotdogs, the parking lot filled up and Ubers were dropping off multiple large groups of people clearly getting ready to start their night off with delicious eats. As we were getting into our Uber to leave, there must have been a line of about 30 people. There's a line for a reason, this place has good hot dogs and it's something you should experience.

The service was so quick and they had the food out very quick. It was warm and delicious and authentic to what Sonoran dogs were supposed to be. The bread is fluffy and warm and the weenies are wrapped in bacon. Great ambience to chill and enjoy street food

The Sonoran dog was fine, like the fresh veggies. However, I really love the Vimpora, never heard of it before but my cane asada vimpora was awesome. The crunchy taco I feel is more to my liking than the usual, and asada as usual very tasty.

    Great service yummy dogs!

Where asking a question feels like you're interrupting someone's day. So today, when I took my son to Ted's Hot Dogs. This is a place I've been going to since the 1900s (as my kids love to remind me ). I didn't expect much. Things had changed since my childhood days, but the food had always remained good! I just missed the days when the same guy worked the grill and knew my name and my order by heart. But then, today... There was Karen. Yes, Karen!! Standing over a grill in 117° Arizona heat, she greeted us with patience, kindness, and an actual smile. She let my son take his time ordering without making him feel rushed. And when the ketchup was empty, she didn't shrug it off or point us in another direction. She didn't hand me a thousand little packets since the pump was empty. She simply took care of it. Was it just ketchup? Sure. But it also wasn't. It was someone choosing to care. When other patrons had notified other staff multiple times it was out - Karen found a simple solution without excuses! These days... that feels rare. We've spent years turning the name "Karen" into a punchline. But today, I met the kind of Karen the world could use a whole lot more of. If you're her manager and you're reading this... take good care of her. Promote her. Clone her if science ever figures that out. Because people like Karen don't just serve food - they create loyal customers who keep coming back!! In a world that tells us what a "Karen" is... be this Karen.

We waited in line to to order and after waiting about 25 minutes, we were helped. The cashier was stressing but was friendly. We ordered three traditional hot dogs with everything on top and a side of bacon cheese fries. Since it was national glizzy day, our hot dogs were supposed to be BOGO. We sat down and waited another 25 minutes until finally our buzzer beeped. We picked up our tray and noticed we were only given 5 hot dogs, not 6. We didn't mention anything just because we saw how busy it still was. The hot dogs were actually pretty good. They were a decent size and flavorful. We really liked the bacon fries and it was enough to share between us three. There was an employee keeping the tables clean and picking up trash - he was friendly. Will de be back to try out some more food!

The server was friendly, and the kitchen got the order out quickly. I ordered the Old Town--an all-beef couch dog topped with smoked bacon, cotija cheese, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli--along with the BOJ slider. The Old Town hot dog was great, with the cheese and jalapeños working nicely together. Interestingly enough, they use the same buns for the sliders and the hot dog; the hot dog buns were just chained together, and it worked really well. The BOJ slider had a good flavor profile thanks to the caramelized onions and seasoning, though the slider was a little sparse for my liking when it came to the bun-to-beef ratio.

Started to look over the menu and all the options. I ordered the Little Mule and my son ordered the Cowboy 2026 with an order of garlic cojita fries. And to wash it down, a couple of Pauliner beers. The burger was tasty however the bun was charred. The hot dog was okay but nothing to write home about. The fries were served later because the waiter took our food order to the wrong table at first and the people at the table (who had already eaten) told the waiter they ordered the fries but not the burgers. There is a spicy pepper jam on the fries and maybe a little too much sauce. But they were okay. Would go for something different next time. We then ordered a couple of unique beers, one being the Mother Earth Cali Dreamin which by the description sounded delicious because I like a brown dark beer (stout) with a chocolate caramel taste. To my surprise I get an amber looking pilsner that tastes a little like chocolate. A real mind trip as it was not what I expected. Spoke to the waiter about it and all he could say is he just pours it from the tap and couldn't do anything about the color. Dude, just look at the description on your menu. So miss leading. Anyhow, for a quick bite it's an okay spot. But I would stay clear of some of the unique options.
