This place is across from St. Joseph's hospital, so it was super convenient for me to just run across the street for lunch. The dining room is kind of cool, with mannequins dressed in luchador costumes, large posters of luchadores, and luchador masks. The galvanized metal on the wall and pretty painted tiles go perfectly. The woman working was very friendly, yelling a greeting as soon as you walk in. I ordered the carnitas quesadilla, which was really yummy. There is a small salsa bar, and this is where Maskadores really shines. I absolutely loved both the red and green sauces. They were hot, but had such a delicious flavor. There are a few of these places around, so I may go to a different location, but I will definitely return to try some of the other items in the menu. read more

Came here before work the other day. They made my burrito pretty fast. The place was nice seemed ok I don't stay. The music wasn't loud, which is good for me. I just ordered and left. I got my burrito as it comes( I do that to get the full effect of the food). I got the surf & turf burrito, it was good the only I don't like in it (which I thought I would) was the jalapeno cream- not for me, but it was good other wise. I was so hungry that I didn't even take a photo but the burrito was pretty good size that I ate some before work and the other half for my lunch time. read more

This restaurant was not clean .. the food was not good. I spent over $30 for two burritos. One was just a veggie burrito - rice beans peppers and onions and the lady charged me for a "custom" burrito for over $15. You gotta be kidding. I like their sauces though .. that was the only thing I enjoyed. Salsas weren't good and the salsa bar was gross .. the whole line behind the glass in front of the grill was a mess. If you've never been and are a first timer like me, they provide their service like a much better chipotle. They literally build/cook you food right in front of you! I ordered cheese enchiladas with rice & beans. I also ordered two tacos, carnitas & carne asada. The friendly woman helping me, put my enchiladas on the flattop and got them cooking. While that was going, she got a sauce pan and put together my green sauce to start cooking. While that was on the grill, she got the meat for my tacos and well, you get the idea, everything getting cooked right in front of me. They have a salsa bar and fountain drinks that are self serve. Everything I ordered was amazing! Was disappointed that they only serve pinto beans. I will admit that I didn't care for the rice. It wasn't typical Mexican/Spanish rice but not white rice? We stopped here before going to a high school soccer game for a late lunch/early dinner. It was nice and quiet when we got there and we were greeted right away. The menu had a lot of great choices but we went with the street tacos. They were out of the al pastor so we got the carne asada. It came with four tacos, rice and beans. There was also a whole salsa and station for add ons. All of the ingredients were really fresh and the meat was very tender and delicious. They put double the tortillas to support the weight of the toppings which I always appreciate, so you always get ingredients + tortilla in every bite, instead of one soppy tortillas or all your toppings falling out and you basically get a little salad leftover. If we hadn't been short of time I would have liked to get one of the mini cakes. They have little table toppers that show you all the different ones they have and they all looked delicious. I had my eye on the vanilla tres leches cake. Next time, I'm also going to order the mini chimis and the cake! read more

The food I got was such a disappointment. I'm a born and raised Phx native and I'm Mexican, I know good Mexican food, this was not that. I ordered for pick up and got a chimichanga with the spicy chile verde beef and ordered it enchilada style with salsa verde, looked nothing like their promo pictures did and it was genuinely 99.9% rice and beans and I got a SINGLE BITE of the beef. Whole burrito was soggy and the rice and beans were bland had they not been drenched in the enchilada salsa. The pico was pictured on the side but it was put inside and it was overwhelming. I wish there was protein to balance out the portions and taste but that flopped. I also regretfully ordered a churro, the custard and churro itself was cold and dry. This was my first time ordering from here and the last. I'm sure the service is good but my first experience is based off the delivery and it was a 2/10 experience. read more

Our new go to taco spot (we've eaten here twice this week already). This location specifically is the best! The service is always great and very welcoming. You can add on any extra toppings or sauces, which I've heard is not always offered at other locations. My go to plate is the #4 tacodillas. Everything else I have tried (wet burrito, flour tacos, street tacos) are also delicious, but the tacodillas just hit different. It's like a mini cheese quesadilla made into a taco - simply amazing. The pricing is good too, each plate is around $8-10. The portions are large and some plates come with rice and beans as well. My only advice is beware of the green chile beef and any "hot" salsas on the cart - they are SPICY. All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if I came back a third time this week! read more

Hands down the worst nachos I've ever had in my 34 years of being on this planet. Stale chips. Barely any toppings Zero flavor on the salsas. It says (hot) next to them not even remotely close to being spicy. The meat was flavorless. I was super excited to try this new taco shop. This area is in need of a place like this. I walked in and checked out their menu with a long list of varieties of different meat to choose from. I spotted taquitos but was slightly disappointed that they don't have any a la cart options. Every option is a meal. I chose the 4 street tacos so I could try different meat. I had asada, carnitas, red chicken and barbacoa. The carnitas was a stand out. Not too dry or fatty but perfectly juicy and delicious. I did like the red chicken a lot too, it's just shredded chicken in red sauce. After I ordered the gentleman that helped me took fresh tortillas and slapped them on the grill and took the meat and heated it up on the grill. There's many toppings to choose from including jalapeño cream cheese and they have a salsa bar too. I opted for the pinto beans as a side and they were not good. They had this terribly heavy Smokey flavor. The rice was just ok. I did love their tortilla chips! Fresh hot and crispy. The decor is totally cute. read more

This is our Wednesday go-to place for dinner. We usually order through DoorDash and it's amazing that the food arrives STILL TOO HOT TO EAT. They have never messed up our order and the food is incredible. So much that we just made it our Wednesday default instead of rotating through a few other Mexican restaurants. They can be spicy, but if you ask for it non-spicy for kids, it comes out perfectly. Salsas are excellent but VERY SPICY. Guacamole is my picky 9yo's favorite. (Note it is full of tomatoes.) Highly recommend the carnitas burrito, quesadillas with meat, or the nachos (real cheese and amazing fresh toppings). We have been known to order more than once in a week :) read more
