Dr Annie and the team are wonderful - I hate the dentist and have very sensitive teeth - and dread the dentist - I went for a check up and X-rays - everything was very smooth, very clean office, with relaxing murals and art work and music. Everyone was very welcoming - I needed to get a deep teeth cleaning and they got it authorised in a few days. Dr Annie made sure I was numb and was able to tolerate ultrasound cleaning for the first time ever. Do not be put off by its location in a strip mall in the valley. Had a wonderful experience for my first visit. Everyone on the staff was so kind and helpful and the X-rays, cleaning, and treatment plan were all done and with an hour. First time here at this dental office about two weeks ago. I'm going to do a bit of a breakdown. To start my experience was great ! 10/10. I'm not gonna lie and say I wasn't a little bit weary at first as the location isn't the best. There are few parking spaces as it is in a fast paced corner, right by a Mexican restaurant and a donut shop. Don't let that steer you away though, once they began working on me, it was clear that the staff is all very knowledgeable and helpful. I am so grateful to have found this office. I was soooooo scared of visiting a dentist after only having horrible dentists in the past. I had not gone in a while and decided to give Dr. Annie and Noho dentalcare a chance and so glad I did. Everyone that works there is so kind and has a wonderful heart. They knew about my past experiences and did everything to make me feel comfortable. I suffer from horrible anxiety and thankfully with the kind and patient staff I was able to get the work I needed done. TL;DR: I was about to spend $10k on veneers in this office and they would not let me use the restroom. I am spending my money elsewhere. This is a review for my first visit for X-Rays and Cleaning. I did not experience exceptional customer service. I called to schedule an appointment for my dental needs due to the reviews on Yelp and this office is in my dental provider group. Upon my arrival, the office had not opened at 10am. I arrived early for my 10:30 appointment to fill out paperwork. When the staff arrived, I was not greeted. I sat out front for several minutes in the waiting room area. I proceeded to wait at the desk for several minutes and had to ask them if I could check-in and fill out paperwork. I had x-rays taken and my teeth were cleaned. I did not receive a full teeth cleaning where they also scrape plaque and tarter. I just received the toothbrush cleaning. I spoke with the Dentist. She said I needed a deep cleaning and old cavity fillings replaced. We also talked about veneers. Upon my departure, the woman that gave me my x-rays and cleaning, told me I could not use the restroom due to them "being out of service" in front of the Dentist. I filed a complaint with my insurance company. My insurance company informed me that the office was unaware of my asking to use the restroom and did not tell me I could not use it. read more

Thanks to Dr. Annie I have no more pain! I walked in here one day with excruciating pain on one tooth. I had been to a few other offices that refused to take a look at it. After a simple x Ray, dr Annie took care of my cavities and fixed my tooth ache! She is always gentle and did a great job numbing me out. Most dentists hurt you by the time they numb you... After my daughter's traumatizing experience at a dental office in Burbank, I was desperately searching for a dentist that would complete the work and be patient enough with my 3 year old daughter, who at this point had so much fear and anxiety due to mistreatment just two days before. I also wanted a second opinion on an IV sedation that the previous dentist recommended and referred. I called and a friendly staff member Tatiyani (hope I spelled that correctly) discussed the procedures that their office follows which sounded much more reasonable for my daughter. She advised sedation was not necessary as long as my daughter cooperates - thank God! I took a chance and made an appointment and I'm so thankful I did. What I disliked the most about the other dental office was how many patients were booked in one time slot. Our wait times ranged from 30 minutes to an hour which I feel is unacceptable when you make an appointment. Today I didn't experience an overbooked office at Noho Dental. Within 10 minutes of my daughter's arrival, she was escorted right away to take X-rays. I understand wait times will vary, however I can tell this office knows to to schedule their patients correctly so the staff and doctor can take the time they need to properly care for their patients. Already, I felt at ease! X-rays needed to be taken and although my daughter was extremely frightened, the staff was SO patient, kind, and understanding. After about 10-15 minutes, the staff was able to successfully take an X-ray, despite her wiggling around, hiding her face, and shutting her mouth. Great job! Onto the big procedure! A movie was turned on so my daughter could calm down from the X-rays. The doctor came in and quickly examined what needed to be done. Afterwards, I was briefed on my copayment and what the procedure would be. The staff here is quick, smart, and efficient! And for that I'm so grateful. My little girl needed the piggy mask and a restraint for her safety and the safety of the staff. Doctor was quick and prepped her two front teeth for crowns. My daughter was in tears but the staff stayed patient, efficient, and timely. In about 10-15 minutes, the hard part was done and I had the biggest weight lifted off my shoulders! Crowns were complete without sedation and this nightmare was over. To wrap up, I want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you to Dr. Annie and the wonderful staff at Noho Dental! Everyone there was professional, kind, and extremely patient! This was difficult to experience as a parent (and I'm sure as a kid), but their efficiency and professionalism made it easier to endure. We are here to stay so I've made an appointment for her cleaning in 6 months and will continue to maintain to avoid any more mishaps. I feel that they genuinely care about the well being of their patients, which is rare these days. Again, thank you to Noho Dental for being awesome! read more

Dr. Annie saved me from immense pain yesterday. She went above and beyond the call of duty to help! I have been going to NoHo Dentalcare for a few years now and getting cleanings. This past week I developed a really intense pain in the right side of my jaw and was really freaked out. I showed up without an appointment yesterday and they investigated what was wrong immediately. Dr. Annie's demeanor really put me at ease since I was pretty scared as to why I was in so much pain. She replaced an old filling that she suspected was leaking and I'm feeling much better today. I was looking for a new dentist, because the one I used to have messed up and gave me a bad TMJ (that I still have). This (fairly new) office was recommended to me by a friend. I went yesterday and these girls were AMAZING. The assistant instantly got my vote with how seriously she took her job. It was beautiful to see a perfectionist at work. First of all: free exam and x-rays for new customers - that right there was awesome. I don't have insurance, but that was no problem. The staff and dentist are absolutely adorable! They were extra attentive, sensitive with my TMJ problem and patient with all my questions. The Dr. found three cavities and I need a protection over my exposed root. The charge was $150/each- plus they gave me a good deal. Since they're still new, they give you bonus points if you recommend them to anyone. They even called me today to check if everything was alright. I can highly recommend this place and hope they'll get many more new patients. Let them know I send you. :) read more

After explaining to her that my son had pain in his tooth they said I could take him in the same day which for my buzy schedule worked out perfectly. I don"t know where to start.I"m so happy that I found Dr. Annie Aboulian. I had taken my 4 1/2 year old to a Children's Dentist in Burbank prior to finding Noho Dentalcare. The dentist at Burbank said my daughter needed 2 baby root canals. I felt I needed a second opinion. I went on Yelp and found all good reviews on Dr. Aboulian. I gave them a call and the receptionist was really pleasant and very helpful from the beginning. My daughter had 1 root canal done not 2 like I was previously told by the Burbank Dentist. Dr. Aboulian did what was best for my child.My daughter felt very comfortable with the assistants as well as the dentist. They are very sweet and show a true caring heart. Dr. Aboulian and staff are the BEST! I'm super happy that I found NoHo Dentalcare. I'm switching over the whole family to Dr. Aboulian. Warning! Do not bring your loved ones to Dr. Ani Aboulian. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a Dental office. I brought my 80 year old father for a consultation for upper and lower dentures. Her staff told us that it would take 4 weeks to get an approval from insurance carrier. We've waited for over 2 months with no approval. I called my fathers insurance carrier and they said that the dentures did not get approved because Dr. Aboulian did not summit the proper documentation and x-rays they requested. I've contacted Noho DentalCare about the missing documents , and they said that they will be resending them same day and that she will be following up with me in 2 weeks. Well, its been 3 weeks and no call from Dr. Aboulian. I find out that she decided not to take my fathers insurance anymore. She could've at least called me to let me know that it would be better for me to take my father to another dental office that will take his insurance. She did not do that at all! NO CALL or an APOLOGY from her, for wasting my 80 year old fathers time. Obviously, she does not think of others! Her and her staff are not professional at all. I'm not even sure if they know what they are doing. I think its a new business, because I never see any patients in the waiting room. People, there are lots of good dental offices in the north Hollywood area. This is not one of them. I give this business rating a big fat ZERO! Well deserved! read more
