My initial consultation went well with Dr Tigran and the office manager Yvette. I found Brightcraft Dental online As my daughter works in Burbank and she requested me to check in Burbank so she can be with me on the consultation My daughter and I Found it a bit strange that Yvette asked us to write a review about our experience as a customer wrote a review about her Yvette that was not supporting. We agreed On September my daughter and I arrived at 8am for my appointment at 8:15 am. we were surprised to see two employeed sitting on the side of the entrance to the dental office busy on their phones. As they did not speak with us and another customer that also was waiting At about nearly 9:am another office staff came and opened the door. It was already late so I told my daughter she can leave. Dr Tigran finally saw me. I had my appointment for a temporary tooth. A tooth Implant in December. During the temporary placing of the tooth. Dr Tigran was pressing on another tooth and i made him aware of it, He was agitated and told me that I seemed agitated. He seemed angry. I also had to him of a filling and cleaning that was also scheduled for this time. Which was then scheduled for December . Ad i was leaving formTexas on the 14th of September and will be then for the permanant. About 2 days later Sunday I felt my gums swollen and checked. I went into the office on Monday with my cousin. I did not want to be alone after the last visit. Dr Tigran took a look into my mounth and said It was the tooth next to the tooth where he placed the graft and the temporary tooth. He did not take any Xrays. He said I had a root canal done on that tooth and it was infected and I needed to see another dentist as he does not perform root canals and said Yvette will give me a recommendation. I told Yevette I did not want a recommendation as Indid not trust him . I to,d him I did not have a root canal performed and his reply was"was I sleeping that I do not know I had a root canal performed on the tooth. His behavior was nothing short of intimidating. I left his office. I was anxious and afraid of an infection that might be seroius to my health. I then booked a consultation with the a dentist in Houston for the 15 of September a day after my arrival. The dentist confirmed an infection inthe implant tooth and not the tooth next to it. He also gave an estimate of the new additional bone graft as there was loss due to the indpfection.and implant of $6.000. I took antibiotic for the infection. I also had a second consultation and the same diagnosis was given as the Houston dentist. I contacted Dr. Tigrans office by phone and email to The office manager. They were hesitant. I finally sent an email stating I deserve a refund. Again they were hesitant but I persisted. I finally received an email with an offer of $1.500. refund. Unfortunately I am taking legal action for Dr Tigran endangering my health and his deliberate action to damage a good teeth and my health. read more

What I experienced was so outrageous that it might be hard to believe given their high review ratings. I was a patient at Brightcraft for less than a year. At first impressions I thought they were a friendly office and it seemed like I was getting quality care. However, I concluded they do not uphold the high level of service they claim. They seem to only want patients that comply, don't ask questions and who won't ask for their records. Any patient like myself who doesn't fit this criteria, will probably be seen as a headache and/or threat and subsequently may be dismissed as a patient. This very thing happened to me after I initiated a call to their office last month and spoke with their treatment coordinator Yvette. I called with 3 objectives: 1.) To confirm the date of my next cleaning. 2.) To request my medical records. 3.) Find out if Dr. Gyokchyan would be available on the day of my upcoming appointment. I wanted to clear up some information I received from the hygienist that conflicted with his impressions from my exam. Yvette's handling of the call irreversibly tarnished my impressions of Brightcraft and I had no intention on returning. A week after the call, I received a certified letter from Brightcraft, which I had to sign for. Yvette signed off on this letter to notify me I was being dismissed as a patient due to bad rapport. This was the most egregious and unnecessary response given what transpired and raised many red flags. Red flag number 1 - I was denied my dental records. This is unlawful under HIPAA. Patients are entitled to copies of their records, including the doctor's notes. Yvette eventually agreed to send me partial records after initially claiming my records were lost. I was sent screenshots of my records in their patient system and 1 of the 2 documents I received had discrepancies. Red flag number 2 - I realized I never left their office with anything in writing, not even a treatment plan after my exam. Yvette also tried to deter me from getting a new set of x-rays by instilling fear over radiation exposure. Red flag number 3 - Yvette was defending accusations I never made. I never said I thought the practice was shady and never said I thought they were trying to oversell me services for financial gain. Yvette, however brought up these points in defensive of the practice. Red flag number 4 - Yvette was more focused on making me feel like I was the problem and less in finding solutions to address my valid concerns. Red flag number 5 - Yvette suggested I find another dental practice and offered to provide me with referrals to go elsewhere. This was on the phone call before she followed up with the certified letter. For context, Dr. Gyokchyan performed my exam as a new patient and recommended a deep cleaning. I had never had a deep cleaning, so I was unfamiliar with the protocols. His case for the deep cleaning was to start off with a "clean base". Other than 2 cavities I already knew about he didn't mention any issues of concern. At my 3rd visit for a follow up cleaning, I questioned the hygienist's recommendation to return in 3 months. In her response, she revealed new information. I didn't know whether the hygienist had misinterpreted my x-rays or if Dr. Gyokchyan failed in his communication. Calling their office last month was my attempt to start addressing the matter before my next cleaning. I spent over 20 min on the phone with Yvette. Rather than find a solution to address my concerns, she spent the entire call invalidating my experience, being defensive and making excuses to not turn over my records. The main excuse being my records were lost due to a failed server. Servers are installed with backup systems for this reason, so I believe her story was fabricated. In a nutshell, Yvette said I was complaining about an issue that no other patient had ever complained about and she made me feel like I was being unreasonable for questioning things. All I needed Yvette to do was her job and help facilitate my request for ALL my dental records. Myself and all other patients deserve better! read more

They are scammers -- they deceive both you and the insurance companies, and they refuse to take any responsibility for the dental crowns they made. Beware of them; I do not recommend this place to anyone!!! read more

Bright craft dentals work is extremely well done I had an emergency where a front tooth crown fell off and broke They took me in right away and made me a temporary while the permanent crown was being prepared Normally, it takes two or three weeks at a lab, but at bright craft It's taking about three days because they do it in house. So incredibly relieved and lucky to have found such a great place! The entire team is caring and happy to be there, it shows. Yvette (Office Manager/Team Coordinator) made the effort to coordinate my appointments in a convenient way for my schedule. I had to reschedule in the end, but SO appreciated her efforts. I went in to see Dr Tigran about getting a crown done after a root canal. It was an emergency root canal and I was leaving town the week after so I couldn't wait the typical 2-3 weeks for a normal crown procedure. He has a brand new state of the art machine that 3-D prints the crown right there in the office while you wait. I went back the next day to do some final adjustments and it has been perfect so far...in fact I can't even tell the difference from the original tooth! I've been rich & I've been poor and I have the Dental office experience to go along with it. I know what it is to go to the fanciest offices, but I've also been humbled in life & needed to go to an office that accepts Med-i-cal / Denti-cal . In my experience, offices that accept *public aid* insurance have been NIGHTMARES & made me just want to give up, stay home & stop smiling. But not this one! Dr Tigran and his whole staff have restored my faith in humanity! They accepted my insurance and didn't make me feel bad about it or try to charge me for *upgrades* if my insurance didn't cover it. They GET IT. Obviously I don't have extra money - I'm currently on public assistance trying to get my life turned around! Furthermore, they worked wonders with my insurance and got things approved that I had thought not possible. They don't give me inferior service or products, the office is clean and BRIGHT (like the name says!) and they have all of the latest equipment. The way Dr Tigran & his amazing team have treated me during this tough time in my life shows me what kind, good people they are & have earned my loyalty for life! Can't say enough good things about Dr. K and all all the nurses in the office are amazing ! They are very clean, professional, and reasonable with pricing. My mom got five implants done over the course of a couple weeks, and she said it was the least painful procedure for her. She is usually the worst when it comes to tooth problems, but was very comfortable throughout the whole process, Doctor K made her feel at ease and was very well experienced, knowledgeable and handled her mouth with care. First of all...I've never written a yelp review before (as far as I can remember), so that shows how great this place is. So let's break it down so it's easier to read. (My apologies if this gets long!!) NO JUDGEMENT. As someone with anxiety, this is always the most important thing to me when looking for a dentist. A few years ago I was going through an extremely hard time in my life, and due to that, taking care of my teeth fell to the wayside. So now I am finally playing catch up with the damage that had been done and getting everything fixed. The fact that Dr. Tigran didn't make me feel like an idiot, or judge me for how bad my teeth got, or scold me for not flossing everyday was refreshing. My nerves went away the second I sat in the chair. Not to mention having things explained to me in layman's terms (with pictures!), while also not being treated like an idiot...was incredible. He also makes sure nothing ever hurts. COST. Lets be real, none of us want to pay an arm and a leg to keep teeth healthy. This is a big reason why so many people can't take care of their teeth...it's unbelievably expensive! Luckily, this has been the most affordable dentist I have ever been to. (It is important to note that my new insurance happened to be in their network, so that helped exponentially). The cost of everything I need done (there is a lot) ended up being a fourth of the cost it would be somewhere else. I almost cried tears of joy when they gave me my whole dental plan and cost on paper. Because I got to see everything laid out, it didn't seem like this scary cloud over my head. Knowing what I was in for also helped us decide which things are more urgent than others. ALL IN ONE. Another thing I looked for when researching dentists was someone who could do general dentistry along with cosmetic or surgical if needed. This is that place! The great thing about this is that you never have to schedule with someone else if you end up needing something more serious done. For example, my very FIRST appointment, I thought it would just be a consultation but ended up getting a root canal right then and there because they had time! (I expected that I needed one so was ready to go for it. If I wanted to wait till the next appointment they would have been ok with that too). The other great thing about having an all-in-one is that you can knock out several things in one appointment. It speeds your treatment plan up so you don't have to go a million different times, which is great with a crazy work schedule. (Like I said...I'm playing catch up with my teeth so need a lot done.) Plus, it goes without saying that someone who knows how to do everything is someone I don't mind working on my teeth. I know I'm in GREAT hands. INCREDIBLE STAFF. Every single person on this staff (Dr. Tigran, Jessica, Juana, Fabiola, etc) is so incredibly nice and always makes sure I'm comfortable. My first time there I happened to briefly mention liking 90s music and the next time I went, as I got in the chair, the music station literally changed to a 90s channel. Now I'm not sure if that was a coincidence, but I'd like to think it wasn't haha. It made me so happy. (What can I say, a good Nsync song calms me down lol). I always say that the secret to a great business is in the small things. The things that may not be a big deal to them, but are to us. Like making sure to wipe away any water that accidentally splashes on your face, or putting vaseline on your lips because they are chapped, or using a bite block so you don't have to hold your mouth open for an hour, or spending time making sure your 1000% ok with the color match of a crown. Things like that show they care. Also, they always have free drinks in the lobby fridge which is a nice touch. UP TO DATE OFFICE. This building seems brand new. So clean with state of the art technology. They seem so up to date on all the new technology in dentistry. I mean, I've never seen a hand held X-ray machine before! Not to mention the TV being in the ceiling so you can watch as you're lying there. I was excited when they gave me the remote to choose what I wanted to watch on Netflix. I think I pretty much covered everything. It is such a massive relief to have FINALLY found my forever dentist. I actually found this amazing place through yelp, so thank you to all those who left reviews before me! If you end up going because of something I said, please let me know...maybe I'll see you in the waiting room! LOL PS. When I came in after posting my review, they all asked if they could give me a hug. Of course I said yes! People forget that behind these yelp businesses are real people.
