We have been very lucky to be patients of Lasky Pediatric Group for 16 years! I highly recommend this office! We see Dr. Jill and Dr. Michael. Both have excellant bedside manner and our 3 kids have always felt so comfortable with them. From how they explain what will be done and their patience and gentle personalities. The quality of their work is very impressive as well. Always honest about their recommendations and will let us know if we can wait to have work done. Going the the dentist has always been a positive experience for our kids with Dr. Jill and Dr. Michael! We have been going to Lasky dental since our twins had teeth :). Now they are 11. Everything about this office is what every parent could wish for their child's oral health. The staff is warm and friendly, the office is clean and well decorated, our kids are never afraid to go to the dentist. We've listened to all recommendations from Dr. Jill and as a result our kids have never had cavities. She is knowledgeable and proactive. My son is a fast grower in general so when his adult teeth started growing in before his baby teeth loosened Dr. Jill extracted them and the adult teeth came in beautifully. Pretty office. Poor ethical practice. They overcharge (cleaning + x-rays $400 OOP after insurance pay out) and would tell me my child had cavities at every appointment. I had the office fill one on his baby teeth which was completely unnecessary. They are baby teeth, they fall out. Any reputable dentist will tell you not to bring your child in for a cleaning until your child loses their first tooth. I stopped listening to the "cavity scare"after that and only took him in for cleanings. If he got X-rays, I would take them to my own dentist for a second opinion. Every time, my dentist would only see shadows, never a cavity. We finally stopped going. Save your $$$ and see Dr.Cerisa at PALISADES DENTAL or Dr. Lala at CHANDLER DENTAL GROUP. read more

My first impression for this dental office is beyond 5 stars. Very nice and clean facility. Staffs are very friendly. There are plenty of parking (a bit hard to find on busy hour and if you have a big car you might have a harder time, but not a big deal). The hygienist who cleaned my son's teeth is very good and my son was very comfortable with her. My son saw Dr. Jill, she is super nice. We got A ok for another 6 months. The last thing that I'm still waiting is the billing. Since they are not a part of ppo or hmo, let see that my insurance will cover the cost. Make sure check with your insurance before you have a service with them. read more

Be careful when you use your insurance and discuss all the financials ahead of time. We were told our private PPO insurance would cover the visit and we ended up getting a $1200 bill for our child's check up, cleaning and one filling... They wouldn't even negotiate the rates, threatened with collections etc.. We ended up paying it, but wouldn't go back. read more

First of all, he is not even our Dr. but he was recommended to us by a family Dentist. My daughter collided with my son last night and her tooth twisted and was somewhat shoved up into the gums. It's Monday and I called the emergency number - Dr. Lasky himself answers. He took the time to review the pictures I sent over and explained to me in detail what was happening. I called for a last minute appointment and of course, they were booked. The woman at the front desk was so kind to take down my number in case someone cancelled. Lucky for me, there was a cancellation for the next day with Dr. Flynne. Dr. Flynne is amazing!! She was so patient with both me and with my almost 19 month son during his first dental appointment. She sang to him and she was gentle with him and was just an absolute joy. She wasn't the original dentist I was trying to schedule with, but it ended up being a blessing in disguise. The location is great, the staff is great but the bills are beyond exorbitant. With dental insurance for a cleaning and an XRay - out of pocket is $400. When asked about billing they office seems to have a different tone immediately and become slightly aggressive. We are changing offices because of this. read more

My son has been going to see Dr. Jill Lasky since he was 3 years old, so it's been a solid 9 years! I'm going to bring my 3 year old to see Dr. Lasky as well. We never have any issues with the office or Dr. Lasky. The staff is really sweet and very accommodating. Dr. Lasky has always been honest and very transparent with me through the years. I never felt like they were the gouging and greedy type of dentists ever. Even when my son had a couple of emergencies, Dr. Lasky came in on the weekend when she was not scheduled to work on my son's teeth. I never had any billing issues either. Overall I would highly recommend them. Especially when my son has never been afraid to go to his teeth cleaning appointments, that's a good sign. read more

Absolutely love Dr Jill Lasky and her team!! Not only are they great with both my girls for their cleanings but they also were amazing when my youngest had a dental emergency and came in after hours to attend to her. The whole team is great with kids! Great communication, front desk is friendly and efficient, hygienists are skilled and friendly and all the doctors are amazing with my kids! They helped me with my insurance as well! I didn't believe my regular medical insurance covered dental visits for my kids and they were the ones that researched it for me and filed the claims for me. When I changed insurance they also found out all the info they needed on their own to be able to continue to file claims. read more

All my three kids have gone to Dr. Lasky when he was Tarzana location and than he opened up in Studio City. We started off with the father and ended up with the son. Since he moved to the Studio City location, this place is so cute and love how they designed it which makes it warming. Had an issue with their biller and was very rude. Didn't really care if you plan to leave this facility and move on to the next one. I thought this was bad for business. But my eldest is 26 now and youngest is 4 so you can imagine how long I have been coming here. I give 5 stars only for the doctor, his helpers and the cleanliness of the place. The front desk isn't bad either but if they plan to put coating on your teeth and your a cash patient they should tell you up front how much the cost would be. Simply amazing. Dr. Lasky took my 5 year old (new patient) on a late Friday afternoon emergency. My son was crying from a bad previous experience at another dentist, Dr. Lasky waited patiently, made him laugh and talked him through the whole procedure. I was able in the room as well. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Drs. Jill & Michael have taken care of my children's teeth for the past 15 years and they are top notch in every way. In addition to the office being clean, welcoming, kid friendly and very meticulous with COVID precautions, the hygienist are excellent and the superb dentists are exceptionally great with kids. Even with teeth removal or cavities (and we've had several), we've had a pain free, calming experience. Kids dental work can be tricky while they are losing teeth, having orthodontic work, etc., and these dentists are very proactive with preventative care. While their rates are market competitive, anyone who is complaining about price in these reviews should remember that you get what you pay for. If Lasky Pediatric Dental Group would service adults, I would be their first patient. read more

My daughter is 20 months old and we had a wonderful experience here! The front desk staff is particularly nice and they accommodated me while setting my appointment. It is in a lovely shopping center near Coldwater Canyon with free parking in the back and also complimentary valet parking. There are elevators and escalators in the building. The office itself is very peaceful and clean. Dr. Michael Lasky is very easy to get along with. He has a gentle and informative personality, and was able to answer my questions. My daughter isn't crazy about having other people touch her mouth, like most babies. But he was very easy-going about it and did a quick exam while still looking at all of the areas that were of particular interest to us. She sees an eating therapist and they had a checklist of areas of her mouth for him to look at, which he did. He also spoke to her eating therapist before and after the appointment. My friend sent me here when my 3 year old hit my 18 month old with a toy bus, chipping his front tooth. Of course, this happens the same morning my wife leaves town for a week. Our insurance is basic and doesn't cover dental, so I was paying cash. Not sure if they took pity on me or what, but the bill very reasonable. The whole office was warm and welcoming.
