My daughters have seen Dr Jill Lasky since they were 1yo and absolutely love her! She made them comfortable and kept them laughing and engaged through each appointment. They have prizes for the kids to choose at the end and it keeps them loving the dentist. My kids are obsessed with flossing haha. Everyone from our preschool goes to Lasky!

Front desk and main entrance. Dentist office very clean and prepared with sanitizer and plexiglass.

Remarkable staff, excellent dentist, nice and clean. Dr. Lasky has the Midas touch when it comes to making sure your kids are nice and calm when removing cavities. Major kudos on a great job.

My first impression for this dental office is beyond 5 stars. Very nice and clean facility. Staffs are very friendly. There are plenty of parking (a bit hard to find on busy hour and if you have a big car you might have a harder time, but not a big deal). The hygienist who cleaned my son's teeth is very good and my son was very comfortable with her. My son saw Dr. Jill, she is super nice. We got A ok for another 6 months. The last thing that I'm still waiting is the billing. Since they are not a part of ppo or hmo, let see that my insurance will cover the cost. Make sure check with your insurance before you have a service with them.

One of my sons has special needs, and the way Dr. Ramil always treated him--with so much heart, patience, and genuine care--was truly special. It's rare to find a doctor who makes your child feel that seen and valued. Today (June 27th), my oldest son and I walked into the office and it felt like a party! Music was playing, there was a spin wheel, and the best news of all--Dr. Ramil had returned! What makes him so wonderful is that he's not only a master at what he does, but he's also incredibly friendly, funny, and kind. You can tell he's not just a great doctor--he's a genuinely good human being. Thank you to the new manager for bringing him back! Ovsanna at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and the assistants, Maggie and Astghik, Rebecca were kind, attentive, and followed the doctor's instructions perfectly. What more could we ask for? We're so grateful to have Dr. Ramil back!

After lots of research and recommendations, we came upon Dr. Shahrestany at Studio City Dental Arts. I have had my share of many experiences in the dental chair and just like everyone else who doesn't enjoy going to the dentist, I will tell you that Dr. Shahrestany makes the experience far less intimidating and nerve-racking! She is amazing at her work. She's honest and doesn't push for something she does not believe is needed. I recently replaced an old crown of mine and you can't even tell that it's a crown! Flawless. Dr. Shahrestany is a lovely human being who's always smiling genuinely. Her staff is very helpful and sweet, especially Danielle at the front desk who is always on top of everything. I am grateful that I found this place. It makes going to the dentist less scary now!

My next few visits were business as usual, but recently I went in due to tooth pain I was experiencing, and the doctor told me she'd do a filling and try to repair a space with another filling. She did the first filling but wasn't happy with it, and proceeded to hurriedly do the filling again without communicating anything to me. In the process of the other filling, the tray table broke, and I was left alone in the room for ~10 minutes with a clamp in my mouth. I expressed I was in pain, the staff laughed (I think out of awkwardness), I was finally moved to a new room and the filling completed. Their staff emailed me my X-rays upon request, and when I went to see a new dentist, she found seven cavities that somehow weren't detected by this practice. Overall, I appreciate the politeness of the staff, but really don't appreciate how I was treated as a patient.

It is always someone new who doesn't know your kid. But the biggest annoyance is, and this happened multiple times, I would get a reminder for an appointment that had changed. At least three different times they changed my kids' appointments and didn't tell me until they were reminding me of the appointment. Plus, even though they're in network, they always seem to charge me for something. Not only do they find a way to charge you even though you're going in-network, this time they tried to charge me over $600 because they told me my insurance denied it. When I pushed them further, they realized it was a billing error on their part. They could have stolen $600 from me without me really understanding that. Plus, we live in a day and age where as a family of color it matters to me how people are voting and how people see my family and I just don't want to patronize people who vote against human rights of women and people of color.

At first, I was kind of nervous not knowing how she would react, and she did cry, but it was a quick cry that ended with a HUGE smile (super happy with her new ducky toy!) and confidence in returning. First off, Dr. Curtin is extremely professional and skilled as a pediatric dentist. I've taken my daughter with other pediatric doctors for different purposes and Dr. Curtin's personality is unmatched! He patiently deals with my daughter without losing his smile, even when she's crying, and communicates everything to me in the most thorough way possible. Our appointments never feel rushed and he always leaves room for questions, which I truly appreciate! His assistant is awesome, and she always does her best to make my daughter feel comfortable. The waiting area is cute and child friendly; there's plenty of books and a tv with cartoons so they can distract themselves while waiting. The receptionist is always courteous and helpful. If you are thinking about taking your little one to Encino Pediatric Dental Group, do it. This place is fantastic! I recommend it to everyone searching for a pediatric dentist. Extra details: It is located inside a big building on the third floor, suite #322. There is meter parking on Ventura and paid parking on-site. They do not validate, which can sound like a bummer, but the most I paid was $5 and meter parking is obviously cheaper; so I will stay on the lookout for meters. P.s. I wouldn't second-guess it because this place is seriously worth it!

As is true with all the other reviews, I'm now a believer. I loved my last dentist, but he's now 2500 miles away. This experience was equally as good. The quality of the equipment for x-rays is far superior to what I've seen previously. And the assistant who took the x-rays was both efficient and had a lovely personality. When I got to see the dentist she had all the information necessary to determine whether anything needed attention. I explained that at my age (70+) I wasn't interested in anything cosmetic and preferred a conservative approach. She respected me and made no attempt to upsell me on anything. I left feeling extremely comfortable that if I need any dental work she'll be a partner who is most interested in my care. I also was able to have a cleaning immediately after the exam. That, too, was professional and thorough. I thought the charges for everything were very reasonable.

What gave me pause was that I've consulted other orthodontists in the past about Invisalign for small cosmetic concerns, and the consistent feedback had always been that my teeth were already well aligned and moving them could potentially create more issues than benefits. Because of that, I felt uncomfortable with how quickly extensive treatment was recommended for what appeared to be relatively minimal contact points, especially when continued night guard use was dismissed as a "band-aid." Seeing so many Invisalign ads throughout the office did not help that feeling. While these recommendations may be appropriate for some patients, I personally left feeling more sold to than educated, and uncomfortable with how my questions were met with defensiveness. I ultimately decided to seek care elsewhere. Everyone in the office was kind (although another reviewers mention of the stepford wives vibes isnt far off), so I feel bad leaving a review especially over a subjective experience but I think it's important to share and encourage patients to ask detailed questions, explore conservative options as well, and make sure they feel fully informed before committing to extensive treatment.
